    • 21 κρεῖττον Better γὰρ for ἦν it was αὐτοῖς to them μὴ not ἐπεγνωκέναι to have accurately known τὴν the ὁδὸν way τῆς of the δικαιοσύνης righteousness ἢ than ἐπιγνοῦσιν to (ones) having accurately known ὑποστρέψαι to turn under ἐκ out of τῆς the παραδοθείσης having been given beside αὐτοῖς to them ἁγίας of holy ἐντολῆς· commandment;
