Then he related it to his father as well as his brothers, and his father began to rebuke him and say to him: ‘What does this dream that you have dreamed mean? Am I and also your mother and your brothers for certain going to come and bow down to the earth to you?’

Though it might seem that Joseph was manifesting an attitude of superiority over his brothers, he was, in fact, merely relating what Jehovah had revealed to him, a circumstance that gave his brothers further opportunity to manifest their heart condition.​—Gen. 37:5-11.
