    • It was not mere human wisdom, for the psalmist spoke of himself as ‘inclining his own ear to a proverbial utterance,’ an utterance from a divine source. On receiving this inspired expression, he would present his riddle or perplexing problem, doing so to the accompaniment of a harp.
