Note, too, that the responsive ones were given “authority to become God’s children, because they were exercising faith in his name.” That is, faith in what his name stood for, the One who provided “the release [from condemnation] by ransom through the blood of that one,” and through our exercising “faith in his blood.”​—John 1:12, 14; Eph. 1:5-7; Rom. 3:25; Acts 4:12.
