They are all able preachers​—full-time pioneer ministers.

These individuals say that they owe their success as pioneer ministers to three things: (1) positive direction from Jehovah God through his loving organization; (2) unwavering help from their families and members of the Christian congregation; and (3) a heartfelt desire to enlarge their privileges of service.

Joys of Auxiliary Pioneer Service

And for those not able to devote 90 hours each month to such sacred service, but who are still able to do more than the average Kingdom publishers, provision was made for the auxiliary pioneer service, which requires that a person devote 60 hours a month to the ministry.

I was baptized shortly after the convention and began to make plans right away to enter the colporteur work, as the pioneer work was called then.

Although I had to postpone this for five years due to family obligations, on March 1, 1928, I sent for my pioneer application blank, and was able to start later that year to pursue my purpose in life as a full-time pioneer minister.

Pioneer Spirit Takes Hold
