²⁷ Adding this figure 1,656 to 2,370 gives 4026 B.C.E., the Gregorian calendar year in which Adam was created.

The Jews even today have a ‘civil year’ that runs from fall to fall.

This shows that in ancient times the years ran from fall to fall, meaning that their new year started in the fall.

For example, do we know what year Jesus was born or, more important, the date of his death?

Do we know what year Jerusalem was destroyed by the Babylonians?

4. When were Adam and Eve created?

⁴ According to reliable Bible chronology Adam was created in the year 4026 B.C.E., likely in the autumn of the year, at the end of the sixth day of creation.

According to Genesis 1:24-31 Adam was created during the last part of the sixth creative-day period of 7,000 years.

¹⁵ Do you know that you can hear your forefather, the first man, Adam, speak to you in your own language?

When our first mother, Eve, was created and presented to him, Adam was moved with great delight, uttering the following poetic expression: “This is at last bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh.

With death that mankind inherited from the first man canceled, humans will be just like Adam when he was created.

Adam was created in 4026 B.C.E., which means that six thousand years of human history end about the fall of 1975 C.E.

However, Bible chronology which indicates that Adam was created in the fall of the year 4026 B.C.E. would bring us down to the year 1975 C.E. as the date marking 6,000 years of human history with yet 1,000 years to come for Christ’s Kingdom rule.

This chronology reckons that the first man Adam was created in the year 4004 before Christ, and so six thousand years of human existence on earth will end before this twentieth century ends, or in 1996 C.E.

⁶ Jehovah has created us to find enjoyment in our work. (Eccl. 2:24)

We will be especially busy during the Thousand Year Reign of Christ.

³ When our forefather Adam was created as a perfect human, he was a “son [or, child] of God.” (Luke 3:38)

Because of their belief that the world and everything in it was created in six literal 24-hour days, rabbinical scholars, as well as those of Christendom, assume that the creation of the first man, Adam, took place in the same year as the creation of the world.

² To recognize that, look back at the newly created Adam when he first received consciousness, when he examined his own body and all that he saw and heard and felt around him, when he realized with a start that he was alive!

However, bear in mind that the Jubilee was particularly a year of release and restoration for people.

The Bible shows that some time after Adam and Eve were created, they rebelled against God, thus coming into captivity to sin, imperfection, and death.

This will be after the destruction of wicked humans at the “war of the great day of God the Almighty,” the binding and abyssing of Satan and his demons, and the start of Jesus Christ’s thousand-year reign. (Rev. 16:14; 19:11-21; 20:1-3)

He brings them to perfection, and when he pronounces them perfect, they will be as perfect as was the first man Adam when created.

He created it with the ability to keep circulating the life-sustaining blood through our bodies forever.

He was the eighth in the line of descent from the first man on earth, Adam.

Since God had created them perfect, their bodies still retained tremendous vitality.

After using up the tremendous vitality of his once-perfect body, Adam died at the age of 930 years, within the thousand-year-day limit God had set.

25. What will be done to those resisting the uplifting judgments, and so by the end of the thousand years what will be the condition of all those living on earth?

²⁵ During the thousand-year “day of judgment” any unrighteous ones that resist the uplifting judgments and stubbornly refuse to reform and do God’s will, the Judge Jesus Christ will execute as deserving no further opportunity.

Thus by the end of the thousand years all who then live in the earth-wide Paradise will be humans as perfect as Adam and Eve were when created and put in the garden of Eden.

When man was created, God set no limit on his life span as was done with animals.

Adam died within that thousand-year day at the age of 930 years.
