ʻOku ʻi Ai Hao Faifaleʻi Fakalaumālie?
ʻI HEʻENE kei taʻu 16 pē, naʻe hoko ai ʻa ʻŪsaia ko e tuʻi ʻo e puleʻanga fakatonga ʻo Siutá. Naʻá ne pule ʻo laka hake ʻi he taʻu ʻe 50, mei he konga ki mui ʻo e senituli hono hivá ki he konga ki muʻa ʻo e senituli hono valu K.M. Mei heʻene kei siʻí pē, ko ʻŪsaiá naʻá ne “fai . . . ʻa e meʻa naʻe hoa mo e finangalo ʻo Sihova.” ʻOku pehē ʻe he fakamatala hisitōliá: “Pea nofo [ʻa ʻŪsaia] ke kumi ki he ʻOtua ʻi he taimi ʻo Sakalaia, ʻa ia naʻe [faiako] ia ʻi he manavahe kia Elohimi: pea lolotonga ʻene kumi kia Sihova naʻe fakamonuʻia ia ʻe Elohimi.”—2 Kalonikali 26:1, 4, 5.
ʻOku ʻikai loko ʻiloʻi ha meʻa ia fekauʻaki mo Sākalaia, ʻa e faifaleʻi ki he tuʻí, tuku kehe pē ʻa e fakamatala ko eni ʻi he Tohi Tapú. Neongo ia, koeʻuhi ‘naʻe faiako ia ʻi he manavahe kia Elohimi,’ naʻe fai ai ʻe Sākalaia ha tākiekina lelei ki he pule kei siʻi ko ení ke ne fai ʻa e meʻa naʻe totonú. ʻOku pehē ʻe he Expositor’s Bible ko Sākalaiá naʻe hā mahino “ko ha tangata naʻe ʻilo lahi ki he ngaahi meʻa fakatohitapú, taukei fakalaumālie lahi pea lava ʻo fakamatalaʻi atu ʻene ʻiló.” Naʻe fakaʻosiʻaki ʻe ha mataotao Tohi Tapu ʻe taha fekauʻaki mo Sākalaia: “Ko ha tangata naʻe ʻilo lahi ki he kikité pea . .
ʻIo, ko ʻene ngaahi ikuna fakamatelié naʻe muimui mai ia ʻi heʻene lavameʻa fakalaumālié “ʻi he taimi ʻo Sakalaia.” (2 Kalonikali 26:6-8) Hili ʻa e hoko ʻo lavameʻa ʻa ʻŪsaiá, naʻe mavahe ia mei he ngaahi akonaki ʻa Sākalaiá, ʻa hono faifaleʻí.
Fakamahuʻingaʻi ha faifaleʻi pehē, he ko ʻene akonakí ʻe lava ke tokoni ia kia koe ke ke hokohoko fai ʻa e meʻa ʻoku totonu ʻi he fofonga ʻo Sihová. Fanongo ki he Kalisitiane matuʻotuʻa ko ení, pea fakakaukau fakamātoato ki he faleʻi ʻokú ne ʻomaí. ʻOfa ke ʻoua ʻaupito naʻá ke afe mei he ngaahi lea poto ʻo ha faiako pehē ʻoku “manavahe kia Elohimi.”—Palovepi 1:5; 12:15; 19:20.
