Faleʻi Alafalalaʻanga ki Hono ʻOhake ʻo e Fānaú
“NAʻÁ KU taʻu 19, ʻou nofo mamaʻo mei ha mēmipa pē ʻo e fāmilí, pea naʻá ku taʻemateuteu fakaʻaufuli,” ko e lau ia ʻa Ruth ʻo fekauʻaki mo ʻene ʻuluaki feitamá. ʻI hono tuʻunga ko e tama pē ia ʻe tahá, naʻe ʻikai te ne fakakaukau lahi fekauʻaki mo e hoko ko ha mātuʻa tauhi fānaú. Ko fē te ne ʻalu ki ai ki ha faleʻi alafalalaʻangá?
Ko Jan, ʻi he tafaʻaki ʻe tahá, ko ha tamai ia ʻa ha fānau lalahi ʻe toko tolu, ʻokú ne manatuʻi: “Naʻá ku falala tōtuʻa kiate au ʻi he ʻuluaki taimí. Ka naʻe vave ʻa ʻeku ʻiloʻi naʻe ʻikai haʻaku ʻilo fakapotopoto.” Pe ʻe kamata ke ongoʻi taʻemateuteu ʻa e ngaahi mātuʻá pe ʻoku nau puputuʻu ʻi he faai atu ʻa e fonongá, ko fē ʻe lava ke nau maʻu mei ai ʻa e tokoni ki hono tauhi hake ʻenau fānaú?
ʻI he ʻahó ni, ʻoku fekumi ai ʻa e tokolahi fakautuutu ki he ʻInitanetí. Neongo ia, te ke fifili nai, pe ʻoku lava ke alafalalaʻanga fēfē ʻa e faleʻi ʻoku maʻu ʻi aí. ʻOku ʻi ai ʻa e ʻuhinga lelei ke tokanga ʻaupito. ʻOkú ke ʻiloʻi moʻoni ʻa e tokotaha ʻokú ne ʻoatu kia koe ʻa e faleʻi ʻi he ʻInitanetí? Ko e hā e lahi ʻo e lavameʻa kuo nau maʻu ʻi heʻenau fānaú tonu? ʻOku ʻikai ha veiveiua ʻokú ke loto ke tokanga ʻi heʻene hoko ki he ngaahi meʻa ʻoku kaunga ki ho fāmilí. ʻI he taimi ʻe niʻihi, hangē ko ia naʻe fakahaaʻi ʻi he kupu ki muʻá, naʻa mo e faleʻi mei he kau mataotaó ʻoku iku ia ʻo fakalotomamahi. Ko ia ko fē ʻe lava ke ke ʻalu ki aí?
Ko e Matavai māʻolunga ʻo e faleʻi ki hono ʻohake ʻo e fānaú ko Sihova ko e ʻOtuá, ʻa e Tupuʻanga ʻo e fāmilí. (Efeso 3:15) Ko ia pē taha ʻa e mataotao moʻoní. ʻI heʻene Folofolá, ʻa e Tohi Tapú, ʻokú ne tokonaki mai ai ha fakahinohino alafalalaʻanga mo ʻaonga ʻa ia ʻoku ola lelei moʻoni. (Sāme 32:8; Aisea 48:17, 18) Ko ia ai, ko ho tau fatongiá ke ngāueʻaki ia.
Naʻe kole ki he ngaahi hoa mali ʻe niʻihi ke nau fakamatala ki he meʻa kuo nau ako lolotonga hono ʻohake ʻenau fānaú ke hoko ko e kakai lalahi mafamafatatau mo manavahē-ʻOtuá. Ko ʻenau lavameʻá, ko ʻenau laú ia, ko ha ola tefito ia ʻo hono ngāueʻaki ʻa e ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni Fakatohitapú. Naʻa nau ʻiloʻi ko e faleʻi ʻa e Tohi Tapú ʻoku alafalalaʻanga ia he ʻahó ni ʻo hangē pē ko ia ʻi he taimi naʻe ʻuluaki tohi ai ʻa e Tohi Tapú.
Fakamoleki ha Taimi mo Kinautolu
ʻI he taimi naʻe ʻeke ai kia Catherine, ko ha faʻē ʻa ha toko ua, pe ko e hā ʻa e faleʻi naʻe ʻaonga taha kiate iá, naʻá ne lave leva ki he Teutalonome 6:7. ʻOku pehē ʻe he veesi ko iá: “Te ke uhuʻi ki hoʻo fanau [ʻa e ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni Fakatohitapú], pea te ke lea ki ai ʻi hoʻo nofo ʻi ho fale, pea ʻi hoʻo ʻalu ʻi he hala, pea ʻi hoʻo tokoto hifo, pea ʻi hoʻo tuʻu hake.” Naʻe ʻiloʻi ʻe Catherine ke muimui ʻi he faleʻi ko iá, ʻe pau ke ne fakamoleki ha taimi mo ʻene fānaú.
‘ʻOku faingofua ange hono leaʻakí ʻi hono faí,’ ko hoʻo fakakaukaú nai ia. ʻI he lahi ʻa e ngaahi fāmili ʻoku nau fiemaʻu ha paʻanga hū mai ʻe ua ke fakalatoʻaki e ngaahi fiemaʻú, ʻe lava fēfē ke fakamoleki ʻe he ngaahi mātuʻa femoʻuekiná ha taimi lahi ange mo ʻenau fānaú? Ko Torlief, ʻa ia ko hono fohá ʻokú ne tauhi he taimí ni ʻa hono fāmili pē ʻoʻona, ʻokú ne pehē ko e kií ko e muimui ʻi he faleʻi ʻoku maʻu ʻi he tohi Teutalonomé. “Naʻá ku ngāue fakataha mo hoku fohá ʻi he ngaahi ngāue fakaʻapí,” ko e fakamatala ia ʻa Torlief. “Naʻa mau fefonongaʻaki fakataha ko ha fāmili. Pea naʻa mau kai fakataha.” Ko hono olá, ko ʻene leá ia, “naʻe ongoʻi maʻu pē ʻe homa fohá ʻoku lava ke ne fakahaaʻi tauʻatāina ʻa ʻene fakakaukaú.”
Ko ia fēfē kapau ʻoku motuhia ʻa e fetuʻutakí pea hoko ai ʻo faingataʻa ʻa e fetalanoaʻakí? ʻOku hoko eni he taimi ʻe niʻihi ʻi he tupu ʻo lalahi ange ʻa e fānaú. ʻOku toe lava heni ke tokoni ʻa hono fakamoleki ʻa e taimi mo kinautolú. Ko ha lāunga anga-maheni ia ʻa e kau taʻu hongofulu tupú. Ko e hā naʻe lava ke ne faí? ʻOku manatu ʻa Ken: “Naʻá ku fili ke fakamoleki ʻa e taimi lahi ange mo ia ʻo ma talanoa fakaekimaua, ʻi he lāulea ki heʻene ngaahi fakakaukaú, ngaahi ongoʻí mo e ngaahi ongoʻi feifeitamakí. Naʻe tokoni moʻoni ia.” (Palovepi 20:5) Kae kehe, ʻoku tui ʻa Ken, ko e ʻuhinga naʻe ʻaonga ai ʻa e founga ko ení he naʻe ʻikai ko ha meʻa foʻou ʻa e fetuʻutakí ʻi honau ʻapí. “Naʻe ʻi ai maʻu pē hoku vahaʻangatae lelei mo hoku ʻofefiné,” ko ʻene leá ia, “ko ia naʻá ne ongoʻi ai ʻe lava ke ne lea tauʻatāina mai kiate au.”
Ko e meʻa ʻoku mālié, naʻe līpooti ʻi ha fakatotolo ʻe taha ki muí ni ʻo pehē ko e kau taʻu hongofulu tupú ʻoku liunga tolu ʻa ʻenau hehema lahi ange ʻi heʻenau mātuʻá ke pehē ko e ngaahi mātuʻá mo e fānaú ʻoku ʻikai te nau fakamoleki ha taimi feʻunga fakataha. Ko ia ko e hā ʻoku ʻikai muimui ai ʻi he faleʻi ʻa e Tohi Tapú? Fakamoleki ʻa e taimi lahi taha ʻe ala lavá mo hoʻo fānaú—ʻi he taimi mālōloó pea ʻi he ngāué, ʻi ʻapi pea ʻi he taimi ʻo e fefonongaʻakí, ʻi he pongipongí ʻi hoʻo tuʻu haké pea ʻi he poʻulí ki muʻa ke ke mohé. ʻO ka ala lava, ʻave kinautolu ki ha feituʻu pē te ke ʻalu ki ai. Hangē ko ia ʻoku fakahuʻunga mai ʻi he Teutalonome 6:7, ʻoku ʻikai ha fetongi ia ki hono fakamoleki ʻa e taimi mo hoʻo fānaú.

Ko Mario, ko ha tamai ʻa ha toko ua, ʻokú ne fakamatala meimei tatau: “ʻOfa lahi ki hoʻo fānaú, pea lautohi kia kinautolu.” Kae kehe, ʻoku ʻikai ko hano ueʻi pē ʻa e mafai fakaefakakaukau ʻa hoʻo fānaú. ʻOku fiemaʻu ke ke akoʻi kinautolu ki he founga ke nau ʻilo ai ʻa e tonú mo e halá. ʻOku tānaki mai ʻe Mario: “Ako Tohi Tapu mo kinautolu.”
Ki he taumuʻa ko iá, ʻoku naʻinaʻi ʻa e Tohi Tapú ki he ngaahi mātuʻá: “Ko kimoutolu ʻa e ngaahi tamai, ʻoua te mou fakaʻitaʻi hoʻomou fanau; kae akonekina ʻaki ʻa e tautea mo e valoki ʻa e ʻEiki.” (Efeso 6:4) Ko e fakamamafa ki he fakahinohino fakaeʻulungāangá ʻoku ʻikai ʻi he ngaahi ʻapi lahi ia he ʻahó ni. ʻOku tui ʻa e niʻihi ʻi he taimi ʻe lalahi ai ʻa e fānaú, te nau malava ke fili pē ʻe kinautolu ʻa e ngaahi tuʻunga ke nau talí. ʻOku ʻuhinga lelei ia kiate koe? Hangē ko e fiemaʻu ʻe he fānau īkí ʻa e meʻakai fakatupu ivi ke tupu mālohi mo moʻui leleí ʻoku pehē pē ʻa e fiemaʻu ʻe he fanga kiʻi ʻatamaí mo e lotó ʻa e fakahinohinó. Kapau ʻoku ʻikai ke ako ʻe hoʻo fānaú ʻa e ngaahi tuʻunga fakaeʻulungāangá meiate koe ʻi ʻapi, ʻoku ngalingali te nau ohi mai ʻa e ngaahi fakakaukau ʻa honau ngaahi kaungāakó mo e kau faiakó pe ko e faʻahinga ko ia ʻi he mītiá.
ʻOku lava ke tokoniʻi ʻe he Tohi Tapú ʻa e ngaahi mātuʻá ke nau akoʻi ʻenau fānaú ki he founga ke nau fakafaikehekeheʻi ai ʻa e tonú mei he halá. (2 Timote 3:16, 17) Ko Jeff, ko ha mātuʻa Kalisitiane taukei ia kuó ne ʻohake ʻa e fānau ʻe toko ua, ʻokú ne fakamatala ki heʻene ngāueʻaki ʻa e Tohi Tapú ke akoʻi ki he fānaú ʻa e ngaahi tuʻunga totonú. ʻOkú ne pehē: “Ko hono ngāueʻaki ʻa e Tohi Tapú ʻoku tokoniʻi ai ʻa e fānaú ke nau ʻiloʻi ʻa e anga ʻo e ongoʻi ʻa e Tokotaha-Fakatupú ʻo fekauʻaki mo ha meʻa, ʻo ʻikai ko e fineʻeikí mo e tangataʻeikí pē. Ko e meʻa naʻá ma fakatokangaʻí ko e ueʻi makehe ʻe he Tohi Tapú ʻa e ʻatamaí mo e lotó.
ʻOku fakamatala ʻa e Hepelu 4:12: “Ko e folofola ʻa e ʻOtua, ko e koto moʻui mo e koto malohi, . . . pea ʻoku ne vavangaʻi ʻa e ngaahi holi mo e fakakaukau ʻo e loto.” Ko ia ai, ko e pōpoaki ʻa e Tohi Tapú ʻoku ʻikai ko e ngaahi vakai fakafoʻituitui pē ia pe ko e ngaahi hokosia ʻa e kau tangata ʻa ia naʻe ngāueʻaki ʻe he ʻOtuá ko ʻene kau tangata tohí. ʻI hono kehé, ʻokú ne fakafofongaʻi ʻa e fakakaukau ʻa e ʻOtuá ki he ngaahi meʻa fakaeʻulungāangá. ʻOku fakamavaheʻi ʻe he meʻá ni ʻa e pōpoaki ʻi he Tohi Tapú mei he faleʻi kehe kotoa pē. ʻI hono ngāueʻaki ʻa e Tohi Tapú ke akoʻi hoʻo fānaú, ʻokú ke tokoniʻi ai kinautolu ke nau maʻu ʻa e fakakaukau ʻa e ʻOtuá ki he ngaahi meʻá. Ko hoʻo akoʻí ʻoku ʻi ai ʻene ongo mamafa ange, pea ʻokú ke maʻu ai ha faingamālie lelei ange ke aʻu ki he loto ʻo e kiʻi tamá.
Ko Catherine ʻa ia naʻe lave ki ai ki muʻá, ʻokú ne loto-tatau mo ia. ʻOkú ne pehē: “Ko ʻene faingataʻa ange ʻa e tuʻungá, ko e lahi ange ia ʻema kumi tataki ki he Folofola ʻa e ʻOtuá—pea naʻe lavameʻa!” ʻE lava ke ke ngāueʻaki lahi ange ʻa e Tohi Tapú ʻi hono akoʻi hoʻo fānaú ki he founga ke ʻiloʻi ai ʻa e tonú mei he halá?

Ko ia ʻoku anga-fēfē ʻa e felāveʻi ʻa e fakaʻatuʻí mo hono akoʻi ʻetau fānaú? Lolotonga ʻetau ʻoange kia kinautolu ʻa e tokoni kotoa ʻoku tau malavá, ʻoku ʻikai ke tau puleʻi ʻenau ngāue kotoa pē. Ko e hā ʻa e olá?
ʻOku fakatokanga ʻa e Tohi Tapú ki he ngaahi tamaí ʻi he Kolose 3:21: “ʻA e ngaahi tamai, ʻoua te mou fakahohaʻasi hoʻomou fanau, naʻa faifai pea nau loto kina.” ʻOku mahuʻingaʻia ʻa Catherine ʻi he foʻi veesi ko iá. Ko Jeff, naʻe lave ki ai ki muʻá, ʻokú ne fai ʻa e fakamatala ʻaonga ko ení: “ʻI he tupu hake ʻo lalahi ʻema fānaú, naʻe fakahaaʻi mai ʻe ha kaumeʻa lelei kia kimaua naʻá ne ʻiloʻi ʻa e faʻa tuʻo lahi ʻene fakafisingaʻi ʻa e ngaahi kole ʻene fānaú. Naʻe fakalotomamahiʻi ʻe he meʻa ko iá kinautolu, ʻo ʻai ke nau ongoʻi lōmekina. Ke fakaʻehiʻehi mei he meʻá ni, naʻá ne fakahaaʻi mai ke ma kumi ki ha ngaahi founga ke tali ai ʻenau kolé.

Ko ia naʻá ma fakaofiofi ai kia kinautolu ʻo pehē ange, ‘Naʻa mou ʻiloʻi ko meʻá ʻokú ne fai eni pe fai ē? Meʻa ʻOku Leaʻaki ʻe he KAU MATAOTAÓ . . . Meʻa ʻOku Leaʻaki ʻe he TOHI TAPÚ
ʻI Hono Fakahāhā ʻa e ʻOfá:
ʻI he Psychological Care of Infant and Child (1928), naʻe ekinaki ai ʻa Dr. John Broadus Watson ki he ngaahi mātuʻá: “ʻOua ʻaupito ʻe fāʻofua mo ʻuma” ki hoʻomou fānaú. “ʻOua ʻaupito ʻe tuku ke nau huki ʻia kimoutolu.” Kae kehe, ki muí ni mai, naʻe fakahaaʻi ai ʻe Dr. Vera Lane mo Dr. Dorothy Molyneaux ʻi he makasini Our Children (Maʻasi 1999): “ʻOku fakahaaʻi ʻi he fakatotoló ko e fānau iiki ʻoku ʻikai fai ki ai ha ala mo fakahāhā ʻa e ʻofá ʻoku ʻikai te nau faʻa longomoʻui.”
ʻI hono kehé, ʻoku lave ʻa e Aisea 66:12 ki hono fakahaaʻi ʻe he ʻOtuá ʻa ʻene ʻofa ki he kakaí fakafou he ngaahi fakahāhā ʻo e ʻofa fakaemātuʻá.
ʻI Hono Akoʻi ʻa e Ngaahi Tuʻunga Totonú:
ʻI he kupu he New York Times Magazine 1969, naʻe fakamamafaʻi ai ʻe Dr. Bruno Bettelheim ʻoku maʻu ʻe ha kiʻi tama ʻa e “totonu ke ne faʻu ʻa ʻene ngaahi fakakaukau pē ʻaʻana, ʻo tākiekina ʻikai [ʻi he malanga] fai fakakouna ʻa [ʻene ongo mātuʻá], ka ʻi he taukei tonu pē ʻaʻana ʻi he moʻuí.” Neongo ia, ʻi he meimei taʻu ʻe 30 ki mui ai, naʻe fakahaaʻi ai ʻe Dr. Robert Coles, ko e faʻu-tohi ʻo e Moral Intelligence of Children (1997): “ʻOku fiemaʻu lahi ʻe he fānaú ha ongoʻi ʻo e taumuʻa mo e tataki ʻi he moʻuí, ha ngaahi tuʻunga” ʻoku tali lelei ʻe heʻenau ongo mātuʻá mo e kakai lalahi kehé.
ʻOku naʻinaʻi ʻa e Palovepi 22:6 ki he ngaahi mātuʻá: “ʻAtu ako ki ha tamasiʻi, ʻo tāu mo hono ʻalunga, talaatu ʻo ka ne ka motuʻa ʻe ʻikai te ne hiki mei ai.” Ko e foʻi lea faka-Hepelū ʻoku liliu ko e “ako” ʻoku toe ʻuhinga iá ko e “kamata” pea ʻoku fakahaaʻi heni ʻa hono kamataʻi ʻo e muʻaki fakahinohino ʻo e kiʻi valevalé. ʻOku fakalototoʻaʻi ai ʻa e ngaahi mātuʻá ke nau kamata akoʻi ki heʻenau fānaú ʻa e ngaahi tuʻunga totonu mei he kei valevalé ʻo faai mai ai.
