11 Now the apostles and the brothers wey dey Ju·de′a hear say people of the nations don accept the word of God too. 2 So when Peter come Jerusalem, the people wey de talk say person must circumcise, start to talk bad about-am,* 3 and talk say: “You go inside the house of people wey no circumcise and chop with them.” 4 So Peter start to explain everything about the matter to them say:

5 “I dey the city of Jop′pa de pray, and for one vision wey I see, I see something* wey them de bring come down from heaven wey be like big linen material wey them hold for the four corners, and e come down straight to me. 6 As I look-am well, I see animals of the earth wey get four leg, bush animals, animals wey de crawl,* and birds for heaven. 7 I still hear one voice tell me say: ‘Get up, Peter, kill and chop!’ 8 But I talk say: ‘I no go fit Lord, because something wey no dey holy or no dey clean never enter my mouth before.’ 9 The voice from heaven talk the second time say: ‘Make you stop to talk say the things wey God don clean dey dirty.’ 10 This one happen third time and them drag everything go back to heaven. 11 And just that time, three men come the house wey we de stay and them stand. Na one man from Caes·a·re′a send them come meet me. 12 Then the spirit tell me say make I go with them, make I no doubt at all. But this six brothers still go with me, and we enter inside the house of the man.

13 “E tell us about how e see the angel stand for im house and talk say: ‘Send men to Jop′pa and call Simon wey them de call Peter, 14 and e go tell you things wey fit make God save you and everybody for your house.’ 15 But when I start to talk, them receive holy spirit, just as we receive-am too for the beginning. 16 With this one, I remember wetin the Lord de talk, how e be de talk say: ‘John baptize people with water, but them go baptize una with holy spirit.’ 17 So, if God give the same free gift to them, wey e give us wey don believe the Lord Jesus Christ, who I be to stop God?”*

18 When them hear this things, them stop to argue* and them praise God and talk say: “So, God don still give people of the nations chance to repent so that them fit get life.”

19 Now after Stephen die, the disciples wey scatter because them de suffer them, go far reach Phoe·ni′cia, Cy′prus, and Antioch, but them preach the word to only Jew people. 20 But, some of the men among them from Cy′prus and Cy·re′ne come Antioch and start to talk to the people wey de speak Greek, and de preach the good news about the Lord Jesus. 21 Another thing be say, Jehovah hand dey with them and plenty-plenty people believe the good news and start to follow the Lord.

22 The news about them reach the congregation for Jerusalem, and them send Bar′na·bas go far reach Antioch. 23 When e reach there, e see how God don show them im special favor. So e really happy and start to encourage all of them make them make up their mind to continue to follow the Lord with all their heart; 24 because na good man e be, e get faith, and holy spirit full im body. And plenty people join de follow the Lord. 25 So e go Tarsus to find Saul for everywhere. 26 After e see-am, e bring-am come Antioch. So for one full year, them gather with them for the congregation and teach plenty people. And na for Antioch them first start to call the disciples Christians as God direct-am.

27 For those days, prophets de come down from Jerusalem to Antioch. 28 One of them wey im name na Ag′a·bus come out, and talk with the help of the spirit say serious hunger go soon dey for the whole earth, and true-true, e happen for the time of Claudius. 29 So the disciples decide, according to wetin each person get, to send things to help* the brothers wey de live for Ju·de′a. 30 And them do this one as them send the things to the elders through Bar′na·bas and Saul.
