Second Corinthians

9 Now as for the work wey concern the holy ones, I no really need to write to una about-am, 2 because I know say una dey ready to help and I de boast to the brothers and sisters for Mac·e·do′ni·a about-am say, the brothers and sisters for A·cha′ia don dey ready now since one year, and the way una de put all una heart to help don really move plenty of them. 3 But I de send the brothers, so that the thing wey we de boast about una no go be for nothing for this matter, and so that una fit really dey ready just as I don talk about una. 4 If no be so, if the brothers for Mac·e·do′ni·a come with me and see say una no dey ready, this one go bring shame for us because we get full trust for una, and una go shame too. 5 So I see say e dey important to encourage the brothers to come meet una before time and to make the gift wey una don promise to give with all una heart ready before time, so that this one fit dey ready as gift wey una open una hand give, and no be as something wey them collect by force.

6 But as for this matter, anybody wey plant with tight hand, na small thing e go still harvest, and anybody wey plant with open hand, na plenty things e go still harvest. 7 Make each person do just as e don decide for im heart. No be say e go de do-am de complain* or de do-am by force, because God love person wey de give with joy.

8 Apart from that one, God fit make all im special favor to plenty for una, so that una go always get enough of everything wey una need and get plenty to do every good work. 9 (Just as them don write-am say: “E don open im hand give plenty things. E don give to poor people. E go continue to do wetin correct for God eye forever.” 10 Now the Person wey de give plenty seed for people to plant and food for people to chop, go give una seed to plant and make-am plenty. And e go make una harvest plenty better things as una de do the correct thing for God eye.)* 11 For everything, una don receive blessings so that una go fit show open hand for different-different ways, so that because of the gift wey una don open una hand give through us, people fit thank God; 12 because this work wey we de do to benefit people, no be only to really provide the things wey the holy ones need, but e go still make people to tell God plenty thank you. 13 This work wey una de do to help people de show the kind people wey una be. So them go praise God because una de obey the good news about the Christ as una don preach-am, and because una get open hand to give to them and to everybody. 14 And as them de really beg God for una, them don show say them love una, because of the special favor of God wey no get equal wey e de show una.
