“De Give With All Your Heart”
(Luke 6:37) “But make wuna stop de judge, and they no go ever judge wuna, stop de condemn people, and they no go ever condemn wuna. Continue de forgive, and they go forgive wuna.
nwtsty study note for Lu 6:37
Continue de forgive, and they go forgive wuna: Or “Continue de free people and they go free wuna.” The Greek word for this verse mean “to free person or leave person make e go, (for example person wey dey prison).” But as they use-am for this verse with to judge and condemn, e show say we fit forgive person even when we suppose pay the person back for wetin e do.
w08 5/15 9-10 ¶13-14
De Do Good Things
13 Matthew write about wetin Jesus talk, e talk say: “Stop de judge, so that they no go judge wuna.” (Matt. 7:1) But Luke write say: “But make wuna stop de judge, and they no go ever judge wuna, stop de condemn people, and they no go ever condemn wuna. Continue de forgive, and they go forgive wuna.” (Luke 6:37) For first-century, Pharisees de follow tradition wey God Law no support and them de judge people anyhow. So anybody wey de judge people like the Pharisees must “stop de judge.” But they go continue de forgive people. As we learn for up, apostle Paul still talk say make we de forgive.
14 As disciples of Jesus de forgive, they still de make other people de forgive. Jesus talk say: “The way wuna de judge na so they go judge wuna and the way wuna de measure, na so they go measure for wuna.” (Matt. 7:2) This one mean say, the way we de treat people na so they go treat us.—Gal. 6:7.
(Luke 6:38) Make wuna de give, and people go give wuna. They go pour for wuna lap wetin they measure well. They go press-am, shake-am, and e go full sotey e de trowey. Because the way wuna de measure for people, na so they go measure for wuna.”
nwtsty study note for Lu 6:38
Make wuna de give: Or “Continue de give.” The Greek word for this verse fit still mean “to give” but e mean wetin person go continue de do.
(Luke 6:38) Make wuna de give, and people go give wuna. They go pour for wuna lap wetin they measure well. They go press-am, shake-am, and e go full sotey e de trowey. Because the way wuna de measure for people, na so they go measure for wuna.”
nwtsty study note for Lu 6:38
wuna lap: This word for Greek language mean “wuna chest.” But for this verse, e mean when person fold part of the cloth wey e wear, and use-am carry something. For olden days, some people de fold cloth wey they wear and use-am carry the things wey them buy. This one mean say them de pour for person lap.

(Luke 6:12, 13) Another day Jesus go mountain, go pray, and e use the whole night pray. 13 And when morning reach, Jesus call e disciples and e choose 12 from among them and e still call them apostles:

How We Go Show Say We Really Love Jehovah?
Plenty times, Jesus pray long prayer. (John 17:1-26) For example, before Jesus choose the 12 apostles, e “go mountain go pray, and e use the whole night pray.” (Luke 6:12) Even if we no use the whole night pray, if we really love Jehovah, we go copy Jesus. We go take time pray before we make serious decision. We go beg Jehovah for holy spirit so that the decision wey we go make, go make our faith strong.
(Luke 7:35) As e be, wisdom de use all e pikin, show say e correct.”

all the pikin wey e get: Or “the result.” For this verse, they talk about wisdom like say na person wey e get pikin. Mt 11:19 talk say wisdom get “work.” The pikin them or work wey wisdom get, na the things wey people see about John the Baptist and Jesus, wey make-am dey clear say na lie people de talk about them. So Jesus de talk for here say, ‘Make wuna see my fine work and character, and wuna go know say the things wey them de talk about me na lie.’

“Wetin Person Go Do to Be Follower of Jesus?”
(Luke 9:57, 58) When them de waka for road, one man tell Jesus say: “I go follow you go any place wey you de go.” 58 But Jesus talk say: “Bush dog get place wey e de sleep and bird get nest, but the Son of man no get place to sleep.”

Nest
When one member of the scribes tell Jesus say: “Teacher, I go follow you for any place wey you de go,” Jesus talk say: “Bush dog get place wey e de sleep and bird get nest, but the Son of man no get place to sleep.” (Mt 8:19, 20; Lu 9:57, 58) For here, Jesus explain say to be e disciple the man go forget about some of the things wey e like to enjoy-am, and must trust Jehovah with all e heart. This advice na the same with the lord’s prayer wey Jesus teach say make we de pray for the “bread wey we need for today,” and wetin Jesus de talk na: “Wuna must know say, person wey e no leave material thing no fit be my disciple.”—Mt 6:11; Lu 14:33.
(Luke 9:59, 60) Then e tell another man say: “Make you be my disciple.” But e tell Jesus say: “Allow me, make I first go bury my papa.” 60 But Jesus tell the man say: “Make dead people bury their dead people, but make you go preach about the Kingdom of God for other place.”
nwtsty study note for Lu 9:59, 60
bury my papa: The way the man talk no show say the father of the man just die and e want go arrange for the burial. If to say e papa just die, e for no dey there de talk to Jesus. For olden days, people for Middle East no de waste time to bury family member wey die, na that same day them de bury-am. E fit be say the man papa de sick or don old but e never die. Another thing be say, the man fit get other family member wey fit take care of the old or sick papa, if not, Jesus no go tell-am say make e leave e papa wey need help and care. (Mr 7:9-13) The man mean say e no go fit be Jesus disciple as e papa still dey alive. So e need to wait until e papa die and e bury-am. But for Jesus, the man don miss the chance to put the Kingdom of God as the first thing for life.—Lu 9:60, 62.
Make dead people bury their dead people: As we see for the study note of Lu 9:59, the papa of the man wey Jesus de talk with, never die but e fit be say e de sick or don old. So Jesus de tell the man say: ‘Make people wey no get faith for God bury their people wey no get faith.’ This one mean say, since the man get other family members wey go fit take care of the papa, make e no delay to follow Jesus. If the man follow Jesus, then e go fit get everlasting life. E no go be like other people wey no get faith for God. Wetin Jesus tell the man, show say if we put the Kingdom of God as the first thing for life and de preach about-am everywhere, we go continue de get strong faith.
(Luke 9:61, 62) And another one still talk say: “Lord, I go follow you, but allow me make I first go tell my people bye-bye.” 62 Jesus tell the person say: “Anybody wey don put hand ontop plow and start de look back no go fit enter the Kingdom of God.”

Make Ridge With Plow
Plenty times, na after the first rain don fall, people de use plow dig ground wey don strong because of hot sun. (See App. B15.) They make some of this plow with wood wey get sharp mouth, and sometimes they go add copper or iron join the wood, and one or two animal go de drag-am. After they dig ground with plow, they go plant seed. Plenty times for Hebrew Scriptures, they talk about this plow work. (Jg 14:18; Isa 2:4; Jer 4:3; Mic 4:3) Jesus use example of farm work plenty times teach important lesson. For example, e use this plow work show say e dey important make we as Jesus disciple, de do Jehovah work with all our heart. (Lu 9:62) If person wey de use plow make ridge, no put eye for the work, the ridge no go straight. Na so too, as Jesus disciple, if we no put eye for the work of God, we no go fit enter the Kingdom of God.
w12 4/15 15-16 ¶11-13
Use All Your Heart De Work for Jehovah
11 Make we use one example explain the meaning of the short story wey Jesus talk, so that e go really clear. One man hire person wey go use plow make ridge for e farm. But as the person de do the ridge, e start de remember all the things wey e leave for house; e family, friends, food, music and other things. And e really want enjoy this things. After e don work for long, e no fit control how e de feel about this things, so e turn “look back.” Even though e still get plenty work for the farm, e no put eye again for the work. Because of this one, e no do the work well again. The person wey get the farm, no happy with this man because e no finish the thing wey e start.
12 Make we see how this kind thing fit happen for this our time. The man wey de use plow work, fit be any of Jehovah servant. Other people fit de think say this person de serve God well, but e friendship with Jehovah no strong again. For example, one brother de always go preaching. But, even as e de go meeting and preaching, e de always think about some things for this world wey e like. This things de really hungry the brother. After e don serve Jehovah for plenty years, this things for the world hungry the brother sotey e turn “look back.” Even though plenty work still dey for Jehovah house, e no ‘hold the things wey go give life tight.’ And because of this one, e no do the work wey Jehovah give-am well again. (Phil. 2:16) Jehovah, the person wey get the farm, no happy because e no do the work reach the end.—Luke 10:2.
13 The thing wey Jesus want make we learn from this story clear. E good make we de always go meeting and preaching. But no be there e end, make we use all our heart work for Jehovah. (2 Chron. 25:1, 2, 27) If person wey de serve Jehovah de always think about some “things for this world,” and e continue de love them, e fit spoil e friendship with Jehovah. (Luke 17:32) Na only when we really hate bad things and love good things, we “go fit enter the kingdom of God.” (Rom. 12:9; Luke 9:62) So, make we dey careful so that nothing for this wicked world, no matter how e fine or good reach, go make us no use all our heart work for Jehovah.—2 Cor. 11:14; read Philippians 3:13, 14.
Fine-Fine Things Wey You See for Bible
(Luke 8:3) Jo·anna, the wife of Chuza, the person wey de take care of Herod house; Su·sanʹna; and other plenty women, de use the things wey they get, support them.
nwtsty study note for Lu 8:3
support them: Or “give them the things wey they get.” The Greek word di·a·ko·neʹo fit mean to take care of other people. We fit buy food, cook-am and give them, and still do other things for them. They still use this word for Lu 10:40 (“do things”), Lu 12:37 (“serve”), Lu 17:8 (“serve”), and Ac 6:2 (“share food”), but e fit still mean other things wey we fit do for other people. This verse de talk how the women wey their name dey verse 2 and 3 support Jesus and the disciples. They help them complete the work wey God don give them. As this women support Jesus and the disciples, e show say them de fear God. And God really like wetin they do. E make sure say their name and the good work wey they do, dey Bible so that all generation go read about them. (Pr 19:17; Heb 6:10) Na this same Greek word Mt 27:55 and Mr 15:41 use describe some women.
(Luke 9:49, 50) John answer say: “Teacher, we see one man wey de use your name drive demons, and we try to stop the man, because e no de join us, follow you.” 50 But Jesus tell John say: “Make wuna no try to stop the man, because anybody wey no de fight wuna, dey with wuna.”

Lesson From the Book of Luke
9:49, 50—Why Jesus no stop one man wey de use e name drive demons even though the man no be e follower? Jesus no stop the man because that time, e never form the Christian congregation. So, the man no need to follow Jesus waka before e show say e get faith for Jesus or before e drive demons.—Mark 9:38-40.

“The Story About the Good Samaritan”
(Luke 10:29-32) But the man want show say e dey righteous, so e ask Jesus say: “Na who really be my neighbor?” 30 Jesus answer say: “As one man de travel from Jerusalem go Jerʹi·cho, arm-robbers attack-am. They collect everything wey e get, beat-am sotey e almost die, and leave-am there. 31 Now e happen say one priest de pass for that road, but when e see the man, e pass the other side of the road. 32 Na so too when one Levite de waka for the road, as e see the man, e pass the other side.

Road From Jerusalem to Jericho
The road (1) wey dey this short video de show how person fit travel that time from Jerusalem, go Jericho. The road long pass 20 km (12 mi) and the sharp valley wey dey the road na 1 km (.6 mi). Because the area na desert and people no too de pass the road, arm-robbers de really disturb sotey they put army to protect people wey de travel. Roman Jericho (2) dey the beginning of the place wey connect this road and wilderness of Judea. The first town of Jericho (3) dey about 2 km (e pass 1 mi) from Rome.
w02 9/1 16-17 ¶14-15
E Must Use Example When E De Teach Them
14 Two, remember the story about the good Samaritan. Jesus talk say: “As one man de travel from Jerusalem go Jericho, arm-robbers attack-am. They collect everything wey e get, beat-am sotey e almost die, and leave-am, run.” (Luke 10:30) When Jesus de talk this story, e dey Judea, wey e near Jerusalem; so people wey e de talk with surely know the road wey Jesus de talk about. They know say the road bad especially for person wey de travel alone. The road dey lonely and e no straight, so plenty place dey wey arm-robbers fit hide.
15 Jesus talk another thing about this road wey connect Jerusalem and Jericho. As we see for the story, one priest and one Levite pass the road, but they no stop help the man. (Luke 10:31, 32) Na for the temple wey dey Jerusalem the priest de work and the Levite work na to assist the priest for the temple. Plenty priest and Levites de stay for Jericho, when they no get work for temple, because Jericho na just 14 miles [23 km] from Jerusalem. So na this road them de pass. Still remember say for the story, the priest and the Levites de come “from Jerusalem,” they don comot from the temple. So nobody go fit talk say the priest and Levite no help the man because they think say the man don die. Because if they touch dead body, they no go fit do their work for temple for some time. (Leviticus 21:1; Numbers 19:11, 16) E dey clear say Jesus use things wey people for e time know, as example.
(Luke 10:33-35) But as one Samaritan man de waka for the road, e see the man and, e really feel for the man. 34 So e go meet the man, bandage e wound, and put oil and wine for the wound. Then e put the man ontop e animal and carry-am go one inn and take care of the man. 35 The next day, e give the person wey de work for the inn two de·narʹi·i, and tell-am say: ‘Care for the man and anything wey you spend ontop this one, I go give you when I come back.’
nwtsty study note for Lu 10:33, 34
one Samaritan man: Normally Jew people no de respect Samaria people, and they no de like do anything with them. (Joh 4:9) Even self, some Jew people de use the word “Samaritan” for person wey they no like. (Joh 8:48) One rabbi talk for inside Mishna say: “Anybody wey chop Samaria person food, be like person wey chop pig meat.” (Shebith 8:10) Plenty Jew no de believe anything wey Samaria person talk, and they no de allow Samaria people work for them. Jesus use this story teach Jew people fine lesson because e know how Jew people de treat Samaria people. Na this story them de call the story of the good Samaritan.
bandage e wound, and put oil and wine for the wound: For here, Luke wey na doctor take time write this story. E describe how the Samaritan man treat the wound, and e match with the way people de treat wound that time. They go use oil and wine treat wound. Sometimes, they go use oil make the wound soft. (Check Isa 1:6) And them de use wine kill bacterial. Luke describe how them de bandage wound so that e no go worse pass as e first dey.
one inn: For Greek language, this word mean “one place wey anybody fit come.” Person wey dey travel fit go find where e go sleep, and e fit carry e animal go there. The person wey de work for the inn go give them things wey they need and the people go pay money. E fit still care for person wey they leave for the inn.
(Luke 10:36, 37) Which of the three people you think say be the neighbor of this man wey meet arm-robbers for road?” 37 E answer say: “Na the one wey feel for the man.” Then Jesus tell-am say: “Go, and make you de do the same thing.”
w98 7/1 31 ¶2
Samaritan Wey Come Be Good Neighbor
The story about the good Samaritan, show say person wey really de do good, must de obey God and de imitate how e de do things. (Ephesians 5:1) For example, Bible talk say “God no de do partial.” (Acts 10:34) We de do the same thing? This story wey Jesus talk teach us say, we must do good to everybody, even if we no come from the same country, we no get the same culture or religion. Na that one go show say we be good neighbor. Bible even talk say make Christian de ‘do good to everybody,’ no be only for people wey dey the same level with us, get the same skin color, or wey de worship Jehovah with us.—Galatians 6:10.

(Luke 10:18) So e tell them say: “I see say Satan don already fall from heaven like lightning.

I see say Satan don already fall from heaven like lightning: Jesus de talk about the thing wey God go do Satan for future, like say e don already happen. Re 12:7-9 describe the fight wey happen for heaven. And e show say they trowey Satan for this earth, the time wey God make Jesus king for heaven. The thing wey Jesus talk for this verse, show say Satan and e demons must lose the fight wey go happen for heaven, since God don give the 70 disciples power to drive demons, even as they no perfect.—Lu 10:17.
w08 3/15 31 ¶11
Lesson From the Book of Luke
10:18—Wetin Jesus mean when e tell the 70 disciple say: “I see say Satan don already fall from heaven like lightning”? Jesus no de talk for here say Satan don already fall from heaven. This one no happen until small time after Jesus don be king for heaven for 1914. (Rev. 12:1-10) Na true say we no know wetin Jesus de think, but since Jesus talk about this thing wey go happen for future like say e don already happen, e show say e must happen.
(Luke 11:5-9) Then e ask them say: “If any of wuna get friend and wuna go e house for midnight and beg-am say, ‘My friend, abeg give me three bread, 6 because one of my friend just travel come my house and I no get anything wey I go give-am.’ 7 But e friend answer from inside say: ‘No de disturb me. I don already lock door, and my small pikin them dey with me for bed. I no fit stand up give you anything.’ 8 I de tell wuna say, even if e no go stand up give-am anything because na e friend, e go stand up give-am the thing wey e need because e continue de ask. 9 So I de tell wuna say, continue to ask, and wuna go get-am; continue to find-am and wuna go see-am; continue to de knock and e go open.
nwtsty study note for Lu 11:5-9
My friend, abeg give me three bread: For Middle East, na their culture to take care of stranger. And na this one we see for this example. Even as the visitor come for midnight, the owner of the house still feel say e must give-am something wey e go chop. That time person wey de travel, fit no know the time wey e go reach the place wey e de go. The owner of the house, even go disturb e neighbor for that midnight make e borrow the thing wey the visitor go chop.
No de disturb me: No be say the neighbor for this example wicked or e no want help, but na because e don already sleep. Many of the house that time, especially for poor people, get only one big room. If the papa of the house stand up, e fit disturb the whole family.
continue de ask: The Greek word wey they use for here fit mean say person “no know e limit” or “e no de shame.” But the way they use this word for this verse mean say the person continue de ask. The man for this example, no shame and e continue de ask for the things wey e need. So Jesus advice e disciples say make they continue de pray like that.—Lu 11:9, 10.

“Wuna Get Value Pass Plenty Sparrow”
(Luke 12:6) People de sell five sparrow for two coins wey the value small, no be so? But God no de forget any of them.
nwtsty study note for Lu 12:6
sparrow: The Greek word strou·thiʹon, na the name wey them de call any small bird. But plenty times, na this word people de use describe one small bird wey the name na sparrow. Na this small bird be the cheapest bird wey people de buy chop.
(Luke 12:7) E even know how many hair wey dey for wuna head. Make wuna no fear; wuna get value pass plenty sparrow.
nwtsty study note for Lu 12:7
E even know how many hair wey dey for wuna head: Some people talk say the hair wey dey our head pass 100,000. As Jehovah know even the number of hair wey dey our head, e really show say e de care for all e servant, one by one.
(Luke 12:7) E even know how many hair wey dey for wuna head. Make wuna no fear; wuna get value pass plenty sparrow.
cl 241 ¶4-5
Nothing Go Fit Separate Us From the Love of God
4 The first one be say, Bible de teach us say God value all e servant, one by one. For example, Jesus talk say: “People de sell two sparrow for one coin wey get small value, no be so? But one of them no go fall for ground, wey wuna Father no know. But e even know the number of hair wey dey for wuna head. So make wuna no fear; wuna get value pass plenty sparrow.” (Matthew 10:29-31) Wetin this one mean for the people wey Jesus de talk to?
5 We fit de wonder why anybody go want buy sparrow. For Jesus time, na sparrow be the cheapest bird wey person fit buy chop. And person fit buy two sparrow for only one coin wey get small value. But Jesus still talk say if person use two coins, e fit buy five sparrow instead of four. People wey de sell sparrow de add this extra sparrow, like say the bird no get value. E fit be say for people, this bird no get value, but how God de see this bird? Jesus talk say: “But God no de forget any of them [even the one wey they add].” (Luke 12:6, 7) Now, we fit start de understand the meaning of the thing wey Jesus talk. If Jehovah value one sparrow like that, we no think say e really value us pass? As Jesus talk, Jehovah know everything about us. Yes, e even know the number of hair wey dey for our head!

Use all your power struggle: Or “Continue de struggle.” The advice wey Jesus give for this verse, show say person must use all e heart do things wey go make-am enter the door wey get small space. Other books wey talk about this verse, talk say this one fit mean “make person do everything wey e fit do.” The Greek word a·go·niʹzo·mai connect with another Greek word, a·gonʹ. And plenty times, them de use this word for people wey de do sport competition. For Heb 12:1, they use the word describe the kind “run” wey Christian de run so that they go get life. Bible use-am for other verse show say person must “struggle” (Php 1:30; Col 2:1) or “fight” (1Ti 6:12; 2Ti 4:7). Bible still use this word describe person wey de “do competition for sports” (1Co 9:25), wey de do “strong exercise” (Col 1:29; 4:12; 1Ti 4:10), and wey de “fight” (1Ti 6:12). Because the meaning of this Greek word connect with people wey de do competition for sports, some people talk say, the power wey Jesus want make we use enter the door, be like the one wey person wey want win the prize for any competition de use. E de really use all e power.
(Luke 13:33) But, I go continue de go today, tomorrow, and next tomorrow, because e no fit happen say make they kill prophet outside Jerusalem.

e no fit happen: Or “we no fit even think-am.” Na true say no verse for Bible talk-am direct say na Jerusalem Messiah go die. But e fit be say na the thing wey Da 9:24-26 de talk about. Another thing na say, if the Jews want kill any prophet, especially the Messiah, e go be for Jerusalem. Na for Jerusalem the Sanhedrin wey get 71-member and the high court, de meet. So if they want judge person wey they think say na false prophet, na for Jerusalem they go judge-am. E fit still be say Jesus talk this thing because na for Jerusalem them de normally do sacrifice for God and kill the Passover lamb. And things really happen as Jesus talk-am. Na the Sanhedrin judge Jesus for Jerusalem. And na for Jerusalem they still kill Jesus, as the “Passover lamb.”—1Co 5:7.

“The Story About the Foolish Son”
(Luke 15:11-16) Then e talk say: “One man get two son. 12 The small one tell e papa say, ‘Papa, give me my own part of your property.’ So the papa share the property for two of them. 13 After some days, the small son gather everything wey e get and travel go one far country. For there, e start de live useless life and e waste everything. 14 When e don spend everything, serious hunger start for everywhere for that country, and e no get anything at all. 15 E even go de stay with one person for that country. The person send-am go e farm make e go de take care of pig. 16 And e be ready to chop the food wey the pig them de chop, but nobody gree give-am anything.
nwtsty study note for Lu 15:11-16
One man get two son: Some of the things wey Jesus talk for the story of the foolish son (wey them de still call the story about “the son wey loss”) dey special. This story na one of the longest story wey Jesus tell people. One special part of this story na the way Jesus describe how the family members treat each other. For plenty of the story wey Jesus talk, na things wey no get life e talk about; things like different kind of seed and soil. E still talk about how master de treat e servant them. (Mt 13:18-30; 25:14-30; Lu 19:12-27) But for this story, Jesus talk about the love wey dey between the papa and the two son. Plenty people wey hear this story, no get papa wey good like this one. This story really de show how Jehovah de feel about us and say e really love all e servants, even people wey come back after they stop de serve Jehovah.
The small one: For the law of Moses, the firstborn de get double share. (De 21:17) So if the big son for this story na the firstborn, e mean say the big son property go double that of the small son.
waste: The Greek word wey they use for here, mean “to scatter things for everywhere.” (Lu 1:51; Ac 5:37) For Mt 25:24, 26, they call-am “scatter seed.” But for here, e mean to waste, or spend anyhow.
useless life: They use another Greek word wey get almost the same meaning with this word for Ephesians 5:18; Tit 1:6; 1Pe 4:4. Since this Greek word still mean to spend anyhow or to waste, some Bible translate-am as “to live like the foolish son.”
take care of pig: For law of Moses, pig no be clean animal. So na insult make Jew person do this kind work.—Le 11:7, 8.
food wey the pig them de chop: The name wey them de call this food, na carob pod. Carob pod na fruit wey the back de shine and e be like leather. The fruit get brown color. And like the meaning of their Greek name (ke·raʹti·on, “small horn”), their shape resemble horn. Today, they still de use this fruit as horse, cow and pig food. The young man don poor sotey, e even ready to chop food wey pig de chop.—Go check study note for Lu 15:15.
(Luke 15:17-24) “When e eye don clear, e talk say, ‘Plenty people dey, wey de work for my papa but all of them de chop belleful, but see me, hunger de kill me for here! 18 I go go meet my papa and talk say: “Papa, I don sin against heaven and against you. 19 I no suppose be your son again. Just make me one of the people wey de work for you.”’ 20 So e stand up and e go meet e papa. As e still de come from far, the papa see-am. E feel for the son, and e run go meet-am, embrace-am and e kiss-am with love. 21 Then the son tell the papa say, ‘Papa, I don sin against heaven and against you. I no suppose be your son again.’ 22 But the papa tell e servant them say, ‘Make wuna go quick, bring out one cloth, the best one, and make my son wear-am, put ring for e hand and wear sandal for e leg. 23 Make wuna still bring one fat cow, kill-am, and make we chop and enjoy ourself, 24 because this my son be die but e don come back to life again; e loss but we don see-am.’ And they start de enjoy theirself.

against you: Or “for your eye.” The way they use the Greek word e·noʹpi·on, wey mean “for your eye or front,” for here, na so they still use-am for 1Sa 20:1 wey dey inside Septuagint. For that verse, David ask Jonathan say: “Which sin I commit against your papa?”
people wey de work for you: The young man for this story be plan say, when e reach house, e go tell e papa say e want be one of the people wey de work for e papa; e no suppose be e son again. This people na people wey de come work for e papa everyday, they no de stay for e papa house, like the servant them.—Mt 20:1, 2, 8.
kiss-am with love: The Greek word wey they use for here come from the word phi·leʹo, and sometimes e mean “to kiss,” (Mt 26:48; Mr 14:44; Lu 22:47) but plenty times e mean “to love person” (Joh 5:20; 11:3; 16:27). As the papa for this story welcome e son with kiss, e show say na all e heart e use welcome this e son wey don repent.
be your son again: For some Bible document, they add: “Just make me one of the people wey de work for you,” as part of wetin dey Luke 15:21. But this sentence no dey that verse for the first-first Bible document. Some people talk say they add this sentence so that e go match with wetin dey Lu 15:19.
cloth . . . ring . . . sandal: The kind cloth wey they wear the prodigal son, na the best one—the kind one wey special visitor de wear. As the papa say make they wear e son ring, e mean say e love e son and e want show the son favor. E still mean say e want show the son respect, honor and say e don accept-am as e son again. Servant no de wear ring and sandal. So, the papa use all this things show say e don really accept the son back for e family.
(Luke 15:25-32) “But the big son dey farm, and as e de come back to their house, e start de hear song and dance. 26 So e call one of the servant and e ask-am say, wetin de happen. 27 The servant talk say, ‘Your brother don come, and your papa kill fat cow because e no come back with any sickness.’ 28 But e vex and e no gree enter house. Then e papa come out and start de beg-am. 29 Then e tell e papa say, ‘See! I don work for you all this years and I no ever disobey you, but you never give me one small goat make me and my friends enjoy together. 30 But as this your son wey don waste your property with prostitute come back, you kill one fat cow give-am.’ 31 So the papa talk say, ‘My son, me and you always dey together and everything wey I get na your own. 32 But we need to enjoy and de glad, because your brother wey die, don come back for life again; e loss and we don see-am.’”
Fine-Fine Things Wey You See for Bible

hate: For Bible, the word “hate” get different-different meaning. E fit mean the kind feeling wey person de get when e carry another person for heart. Or the feeling wey person de get when e no like somebody or something, and e go start de avoid the person or the thing. The word fit still mean ‘to love one thing pass another one.’ For example, when Bible talk say Jacob “hate” Leah but e love Rachel, e mean say e love Rachel pass Leah (Ge 29:31, ftn.; De 21:15, ftn.), and they use this meaning for other book wey Jew people write. So, Jesus no mean for this verse say make we hate our family or ourself, because this one no go gree with other verse for Bible. (Check Mr 12:29-31; Eph 5:28, 29, 33.) So this verse mean say we go love Jesus pass our family or ourself.
(Luke 16:10-13) Person wey they fit trust for small thing, they fit still trust the person for big thing. And person wey no de do well for small thing, no go do well for big thing. 11 So, if wuna never show say they fit trust wuna with the property for this world, who go give wuna the real one? 12 And if wuna never show say they fit trust wuna with another person property, who go give wuna, wuna own? 13 No servant go fit be slave for two master, e must hate one and love one, or e go hold one tight and leave one. Wuna no fit be slave of God and Money.”

Try Make You Get the Real Property
Read Luke 16:10-13. The caretaker for this story wey Jesus talk make friend for e own gain. But, Jesus encourage e disciples make they make friend for heaven, but make e no be because of wetin they go gain. The verse them after this story, show say e good make we use “the property for this world” worship Jehovah well. The thing wey Jesus de talk na say, we fit ‘show say they fit trust us’ with, or we fit control the property wey we don get for this world. How we fit do-am?
One way na to contribute our money and other things for the preaching work wey we de do for the whole world. (Matt. 24:14) One small girl for India get one small box wey e de save money inside. E even add money wey e for use buy toy inside the box. When the box full, e contribute the money, make they use-am support preaching work. One brother for India wey get coconut farm, contribute plenty coconut give the Malayalam remote translation office. E talk say since the brothers go want buy coconut, the best thing na to give them coconut instead of money. This brother use e sense well. Na so too with brothers for Greece. Them de always contribute olive oil, cheese, and other things for the Bethel family.
