Oonyana Bomntu Omnye Bazisa Iminikelo
Ekuhambeni kwexesha, uKayin noAbheli bazisa iminikelo kuThixo. UKayin wazisa iziqhamo zomhlaba yaye uAbheli wanikela ngamazibulo omhlambi wakhe. Abanye abaphengululi babonisa ukuba uEva wayemgqala uKayin ‘njengembewu’ eyayiza kutshabalalisa inyoka, kuba ekuzaleni kwakhe uKayin wathi: “Ndivelise umntu ngoncedo lukaYehova.” (Genesis 4:1) Ukuba uKayin wayekholelwa ngendlela efanayo, wayephazama kakhulu. Indlela Awasabela Ngayo Xa Elunyukiswa
Esazi isimo sengqondo sikaKayin, uThixo wamluleka, wathi: “Kutheni uvutha ngumsindo nje yaye kutheni ukhangeleka uthe khunubembe? Ukuba uyaguquka wenze okulungileyo, akusayi kuphakanyiswa yini na? Kodwa ukuba akuguquki wenze okulungileyo, isono sibuthumile ngasesangweni, sikhanuka wena; yaye ngaba wena uya kusongamela na?”—Genesis 4:4-7.

UKayin noAbheli bamele ukuba babekhuliswe ngendlela efanayo, kodwa uKayin wayengenalukholo kuThixo. Eneneni, wabonakalisa umoya kaMtyholi, ‘isibulala-mntu santlandlolo noyise wabo bonke ubuxoki.’ (Yohane 8:44) Ikhondo elathatyathwa nguKayin libonisa ukuba sonke sinako ukuzikhethela, abo bakhetha ukona bazahlukanisa noThixo, nokuba uYehova uyabagweba abo bangaguqukiyo.
Kwelinye icala, uAbheli wabonakalisa ukholo kuYehova. Eneneni, “ngokholo uAbheli wanikela kuThixo umbingelelo oxabiso likhulu ngakumbi kunokaKayin, kholo olo awathi ngalo wangqinelwa ukuba ulilungisa, uThixo enikela ubungqina ngokuphathelele izipho zakhe.” Nangona kungekho nalinye ilizwi elathethwa nguAbheli eZibhalweni, ngokholo lwakhe olungumzekelo “usathetha.”—Hebhere 11:4.
UAbheli wayengowokuqala kubagcini bengqibelelo abaninzi. Igazi lakhe, ‘eladanduluka kuYehova emhlabeni,’ alikalityalwa. (Genesis 4:10; Luka 11:48-51) Ukuba siqhelisela ukholo njengoAbheli, nathi sinokunandipha ulwalamano oluxabisekileyo noluhlala luhleli noYehova.
