Ebudeni bokulawula kwabagwebi kwaSirayeli, uBharaki, uDebhora namanye amaSirayeli angama-10 000 ajamelana nemeko enjalo. Umkhosi wotshaba yayingamaKanan ukhokelwa nguSisera. Izixhobo zawo zaziquka iinqwelo zokulwa, ezazinamavili ayeneerhengqa zentsimbi eziyingozi. Oku kwenzeka kwiNtaba yaseTabhore kwintlambo yeKishon. Into eyenzeka apho yangqina ukuba ngokwenene uBharaki wayeyindoda enokholo. Khawuqwalasele iziganeko ezikhokelela kweli dabi.
USirayeli Ucela Uncedo KuYehova
Incwadi yaBagwebi ibalisa ngamaSirayeli awalushiya ngokuphindaphindiweyo unqulo olunyulu nemiphumo emibi yeso senzo. Sihlandlo ngasinye, emva kokucela uThixo ukuba awenzel’ inceba, wanyula umhlanguli, umkhululi, yaye amaSirayeli aphinda avukela. Benaloo mkhwa, “oonyana bakaSirayeli baphinda baqalisa ukwenza okubi emehlweni kaYehova akuba uEhudi [umgwebi owabasindisa kwingcinezelo yamaMowabhi] efile.” Enyanisweni, “banyula oothixo abatsha.” Waba yintoni umphumo? “UYehova wabathengisa kwisandla sikaYabhin ukumkani wakwaKanan, owayelawula eHatsore; intloko yomkhosi wakhe yayinguSisera . . . Yaye oonyana bakaSirayeli badanduluka kuYehova, ngenxa yokuba [uSisera] wayeneenqwelo zokulwa ezingamakhulu asithoba ezinamarhengqa amakhulu entsimbi, yaye yena wabacinezela ngobungqwabalala oonyana bakaSirayeli iminyaka engamashumi amabini.”—ABagwebi 4:1-3; 5:8.
Zithetha ngobomi kwaSirayeli, iZibhalo zithi: “[Ngaloo mihla] kwakungahanjwa emendweni, yaye abahambi beendlela babehamba ngomendo ojikelezayo. Kwayeka ukubakho abahlali kwilizwe elivulekileyo.” (ABagwebi 5:6, 7) Abantu babesoyika abaphangi abahamba ngamahashe. Omnye umphengululi uthi: “KwaSirayeli abantu babephila ngokoyika, sonke isizwe sasingcangcazela yaye singakwazi ukuzenzela nto.” Njengokuba sasiqhele ukwenza ngaphambili, amaSirayeli awayedimazekile acela uncedo kuYehova.
UYehova Unyula Inkokeli
Isizwe sonke samaSirayeli sasikhala ngoxa sasicinezelwe ngamaKanan. UThixo wasebenzisa umprofetikazi uDebhora ukudlulisela imigwebo yakhe nokuwafundisa. Ngaloo ndlela uYehova wamjizeka ngelungelo lokuba ngumama wokomfuziselo kwaSirayeli.—ABagwebi 4:4; 5:7.
UDebhora wathumela ukuba kubizwe uBharaki waza wathi kuye: “Akanikelanga myalelo na uYehova uThixo kaSirayeli? ‘Hamba uze uzithi saa kwiNtaba yaseTabhore, yaye thabatha amadoda angamawaka alishumi koonyana bakaNafetali nakoonyana bakaZebhulon. Ngokuqinisekileyo ndiya kukutsalela uSisera intloko yomkhosi kaYabhin neenqwelo zakhe zokulwa nesihlwele sakhe kwintlambo yaseKishon, yaye eneneni ndiya kumnikela esandleni sakho.’” (ABagwebi 4:6, 7) Ngokuthi ‘akanikelanga myalelo na uYehova?’ uDebhora wayebonisa ukuba akanalo nelincinane igunya phezu kukaBharaki. Kuphela nje wayesebenza njengejelo likaThixo lokudlulisela umyalelo wakhe. Wasabela njani uBharaki?
UBharaki wathi: “Ukuba uya kuhamba nam, ndiya kuhamba nam ngokuqinisekileyo; kodwa ukuba akuyi kuhamba nam, andiyi kuhamba.” (ABagwebi 4:8) Kwakutheni ukuze uBharaki abe madolw’ anzima ukwamkela imbopheleleko ayinikwe nguThixo? Ngaba wayephethwe bubugwala? Ngaba wayengenantembelo kwizithembiso zikaThixo? Akunjalo. UBharaki akazange asale esi sabelo, yaye akazange angamthobeli uYehova. Kunoko, wasabela ngale ndlela kuba wayeziva engafanelekanga ukuphumeza umyalelo kaThixo ngamandla akhe. Ukubakho kommeli kaThixo kwakuya kuqinisekisa ulwalathiso lukaThixo kuze kumenze yena nabantu bakhe babe nenkalipho. Ngoko ke, kunokuba oku kube luphawu lobuthathaka, uBharaki wayebonakalisa ukholo olomeleleyo.
Indlela uBharaki asabela ngayo inokuthelekiswa naleyo kaMoses, uGidiyon noYeremiya. Nawo la madoda aziva engakufanelekelanga ukuyifeza imiyalelo kaThixo ngamandla awo. Kodwa akazange agqalwe njengangathembekanga ngenxa yoko. (Eksodus 3:11–4:17; 33:12-17; ABagwebi 6:11-22, 36-40; Yeremiya 1:4-10) Yaye kunokuthiwani ngesimo sengqondo sikaDebhora? Akazange azame ukulawula izinto. Kunoko, wahlala engumkhonzi kaYehova othozamileyo. Wathi kuBharaki: “Ndiya kuhamba nawe.” (ABagwebi 4:9) Wayekulungele ukulishiya ikhaya lakhe—indawo awayekhuseleke ngakumbi kuyo—ukuze abe kunye noBharaki edabini. Naye uDebhora wabonakalisa ukholo nenkalipho.
Ngokholo Balandela UBharaki
Imikhosi yamaSirayeli yayiza kuhlanganisana kwintaba eyaziwayo yaseTabhore. Le yayiyeyona ndawo ifanelekileyo. Kulapho zaziqhele ukuhlanganisana khona izizwe zakwaNafetali nezakwaZebhulon, ezihlala kufuphi. Ethobela umyalelo kaThixo, amadoda angamawaka alishumi—kunye noDebhora—alandela uBharaki enyuka kule ntaba.
Bonke abo balandela uBharaki kwakufuneka benokholo. UYehova wayethembise ukuba uza kumenza uBharaki awoyise amaKanan, kodwa amaSirayeli ayenaziphi izixhobo? EyaBagwebi 5:8 ithi: “Ikhaka lalingenakubonwa, okanye incula, phakathi kwamashumi amane amawaka kwaSirayeli.” Ngoko amaSirayeli ayengenazixhobo zingako. Phofu ke, ayenokwenza ntoni xa ayephethe iincula namakhaka kubantu ababeneenqwelo zokulwa ezineerhengqa zentsimbi. Akuva ukuba uBharaki unyuke iNtaba yaseTabhore, kwangoko uSisera wayalela zonke iinqwelo zakhe zokulwa nomkhosi wakhe ukuba uye kwintlambo yaseKishon. UBharaki Uphanzisa Umkhosi KaSisera
Xa kanye kuza kuqalisa ukuliwa, uDebhora uthi kuBharaki: “Sukuma, kuba ngokuqinisekileyo le yimini uYehova aya kumnikela ngayo uSisera esandleni sakho. UYehova akaphumanga phambi kwakho na?” UBharaki namadoda akhe bafanele behle kwintaba yaseTabhore baye entlanjeni, kodwa xa belapho imikhosi kaSisera yayiza kubafumana kakuhle. Ngowawutheni ukuba ubukumkhosi kaBharaki? Ngaba ngowawuthobele ngokulula, ukhumbula ukuba lo ngumyalelo ovela kuYehova? UBharaki namadoda akhe angamawaka alishumi bathobela. “Kwaye uYehova wavusa isiphithiphithi kuSisera nakuzo zonke iinqwelo zakhe zokulwa nakulo lonke iqela ngohlangothi lwekrele phambi koBharaki.”—ABagwebi 4:14, 15.
Exhaswa nguYehova, uBharaki wawuphanzisa umkhosi kaSisera. Ingxelo ayisichazeli konke okwenzekayo kweli dabi. Noko ke, ingoma yoloyiso kaBharaki noDebhora ithi ‘amazulu namafu avuza amanzi.’ Kunokwenzeka ukuba imvula enesichotho yabangela ukuba iinqwelo zokulwa zikaSisera zixinge eludakeni, nto leyo eyabangela ukuba oyiswe nguBharaki. Ngoko ke isixhobo sawo esinamandla sawafaka engozini amaKanan. Ngezidumbu zamadoda kaSisera, le ngoma ithi: ‘Umsinga waseKishon wazikhukulisa.’—ABagwebi 5:4, 21.
Ngaba unokukukholelwa oku? Intlambo yaseKishon ngumfula, umsinga ngokuqhelekileyo onamanzi amancinane. Iingxelo ezingedabi elalikwiNtaba yaseTabhore phakathi kukaNapoleon nabemi baseTurkey ngoAprili 16, 1799, zithi “abemi baseTurkey abaninzi barhaxwa xa babezama ukubaleka bewela kwithafa elalizaliswe ngamanzi omKishon.”
Umbhali-mbali ongumYuda uFlavius Josephus uthi njengoko umkhosi kaSisera nokaBharaki wawuza kuhlanganisana, “kwabakho isikhukula esikhulu, imvula enkulu nesichotho, yaye umoya wayivuthuza loo mvula yaza yawabetha ebusweni amaKanan aza aphandlwa, kangangokuba iintolo nezilingi zawo zange ziwancede nganto.”
KuBagwebi 5:20 kuthiwa: “Iinkwenkwezi zalwa zisezulwini. Zisezindleleni zazo zalwa noSisera.” Iinkwenkwezi zalwa njani noSisera? Bambi bathi la mazwi athetha ukungenelela kukaThixo. Abanye bathi iingelosi zancedisa, kwawa izinto ezithile esibhakabhakeni, okanye ukuxhomekeka kuSisera ekuvumiseni ngeenkwenkwezi kwangqineka kububuxoki. Ekubeni iBhayibhile ingathethi nto ngendlela iinkwenkwezi ezalwa ngayo kweli dabi, kubonakala kwanele ukuthi ngandlel’ ithile uThixo wangenelela esilwela umkhosi wamaSirayeli. Enoba yintoni eyenzekayo, amaSirayeli alisebenzisa ngokupheleleyo eli thuba. “UBharaki wasukela emva kweenqwelo . . . kangangokuba lonke iqela likaSisera lawa ngohlangothi lwekrele. Akuzange kusale namnye.” (ABagwebi 4:16) Kwenzeka ntoni kumphathi-mkhosi uSisera?
Umcinezeli Uwela “Esandleni Somfazi”
IBhayibhile ithi: “Ke yena uSisera, wasaba ngeenyawo [eshiya umlo] waya kwintente kaYaheli umfazi kaHebheri umKeni, kuba kwakukho uxolo phakathi kukaYabhin ukumkani waseHatsore nendlu kaHebheri umKeni.” UYaheli wamngenisa ngaphakathi kwintente yakhe uSisera owayediniwe, wampha ubisi, waza wamembathisa kangangokuba walala obentlombe. Wandula ke uYaheli “wathabatha isikhonkwane sentente waza waphatha nesando ngesandla sakhe,” izinto umhlali wasezintenteni azisebenzisa imihla ngemihla. “Wandula ke waya kuye echwechwa waza wasibethelela isikhonkwane ezintlafunweni zakhe saza saphumela emhlabeni, ngoxa wayelele yoyi yaye ediniwe. Ngoko wafa.”—ABagwebi 4:17-21.
Emva koku uYaheli udibana noBharaki aze athi kuye: “Yiza yaye ndiza kukubonisa le ndoda uyifunayo.” Le ngxelo yongezelela isithi: “Ngoko wangena waya kuye, kwaye, khangela! nanko uSisera ewile efile, isikhonkwane sisezintlafunweni zakhe.” Hayi indlela ekufanele ukuba kwamkhuthaza ngayo uBharaki oku kwenzekileyo! Ngaphambilana umprofetikazi uDebhora wayethe kuye: “Udumo aluyi kuba lolwakho endleleni oyihambayo, kuba uYehova uya kumthengisa uSisera esandleni somfazi.”—ABagwebi 4:9, 22.
Ngaba oko kwenziwa nguYaheli kunokugqalwa njengokubhukuq’ umbuso? UYehova akazange akujonge njalo. Ingoma yoloyiso kaBharaki noDebhora ithi: “Phakathi kwabafazi ententeni ngoyena uya kusikelelwa.” Loo ngoma isicacisela ngokufa kukaSisera. Unina kuthiwa umlindele ukuba abuye edabini. Uyabuza: “Kutheni inqwelo yakhe yokulwa ilibele nje ingafiki? Abalumkileyo kumanenekazi akhe azizidwangube ayaphendula” ezama ukumenza angoyiki ngokuthi kunokwenzeka ukuba waba amaxhoba—impahla ethungwe kakuhle nokwabela amadoda iintombi. La manenekazi ayabuza: “Akufanele babe amaxhoba na, isibeleko—izibeleko [indlela amajoni awabiza ngayo amashweshwe athinjiweyo] ezibini kwindoda nganye eyomeleleyo, amaxhoba ezinto ezidayiweyo zikaSisera . . . Isambatho esilukiweyo, izinto ezidayiweyo, izambatho ezilukiweyo ezibini zeentamo zamadoda angamaxhoba?”—ABagwebi 5:24, 28-30.
Oko Sikufundayo
Ingxelo kaBharaki isifundisa izinto ezibalulekileyo. Nabani na ongamfakiyo uYehova ebomini bakhe uya kujamelana neengxaki neenkxwaleko. Abo baguqukayo baze babuyele kuThixo yaye babonakalise ukholo kuye basenokukhululeka kwiingcinezelo ezahlukahlukeneyo. Ngaba nathi asifanele sihlakulele umoya wokuthobela? Enoba umyalelo kaThixo ubonakala uphikisana nendlela abantu abacinga ngayo, sinokuqiniseka ukuba imithetho yakhe yeyokusinceda. (Isaya 48:17, 18) Kuphela kungokuba nokholo kuYehova nokuthobela imiyalelo yakhe okwabangela ukuba uBharaki ‘ayiphanzise imikhosi yabasemzini.’—Hebhere 11:32-34.
Ingoma kaDebhora noBharaki iqukumbela ngamazwi achukumisayo isithi: “Mazitshabalale zonke iintshaba zakho, Yehova, yaye abakuthandayo mababe njengokuphuma kwelanga ngamandla alo.” (ABagwebi 5:31) Hayi indlela aya kuba yinyaniso ngayo loo mazwi xa uYehova ephelisa le nkqubo kaSathana ingendawo!
