• Ngaba uLusifa ligama iBhayibhile elisebenzisayo ukubhekisela kuSathana?
Igama elithi Lusifa livela kube kanye kwiZibhalo yaye livela kuphela kwiinguqulelo ezithile zeBhayibhile. Ngokomzekelo, iKing James Version ithi kuIsaya 14:12: “Hayi indlela owe ngayo ezulwini, wena Lusifa, nyana wesifingo!”
Igama lesiHebhere eliguqulelwe ngokuthi “Lusifa” lithetha “okhanyayo.” ISeptuagint isebenzisa igama lesiGrike elithetha “ozisa isifingo.” Ngenxa yoko, ezinye iinguqulelo ziguqulela eli gama lesiHebhere lantlandlolo ngokuthi “ikhwezi lomso” okanye “iKhwezi.” Kodwa iVulgate kaJerome yesiLatini isebenzisa igama elithi “Lusifa” (umthwali wokukhanya), yaye ngesi sizathu, iinguqulelo ezahlukahlukeneyo zeBhayibhile zisebenzisa eli binzana.
Ngubani lo Lusifa? Igama elithi “okhanyayo,” okanye “Lusifa,” lifumaneka kwincwadi kaIsaya xa ngokuprofetayo wayeyalela amaSirayeli ukuba avakalise ‘intetho engumzekeliso nxamnye nokumkani waseBhabhiloni.’ Ngenxa yoko, eli gama lifumaneka njengenxalenye yamazwi ngokuyintloko awayebhekiselwa kubalawuli baseBhabhiloni. Kutheni umlawuli waseBhabhiloni ebizwa ngegama eliphakame ngale ndlela? Simele siqonde ukuba ukumkani waseBhabhiloni wabizwa ngokuba ungokhanyayo kuphela emva kokuwa kwakhe yaye ngenjongo yokumgculela. (Isaya 14:3) Ikratshi labenza baziphakamisa ookumkani baseBhabhiloni ngaphezu kwabanye abantu. Aba balawuli babekhukhumele kangangokuba bachazwa njengabaqhayisa besithi: “Ndiya kunyuka ndiye ezulwini. Itrone yam ndiya kuyiphakamisa phezu kweenkwenkwezi zikaThixo, yaye ndiya kuhlala phantsi entabeni yokuhlangana, kweyona mimandla ithe qelele yasemntla. . . . Ndiya kuzifanisa nOyena Uphakamileyo.”—Isaya 14:13, 14.
‘Iinkwenkwezi zikaThixo’ ngookumkani bomnombo wobukhosi bukaDavide. (Numeri 24:17) Ukususela kuDavide, ulawulo lwezi “nkwenkwezi” lwalusekelwe kwiNtaba yaseZiyon. Emva kokwakha kukaSolomon itempile yaseYerusalem, igama elithi Ziyon labhekisela kwisixeko siphela. Phantsi komnqophiso woMthetho, onke amadoda angamaSirayeli ayefanele aye eZiyon kathathu ngonyaka. Ngaloo ndlela, yaba ‘yintaba yokuhlangana.’ Ngokuzimisela ukubathoba ookumkani bakwaYuda aze abashenxise kuloo ntaba, uNebhukadenetsare wayevakalisa injongo yakhe yokuziphakamisa ngaphezu kwezo “nkwenkwezi.” Kunokuba azukise uYehova ngoloyiso, ngekratshi wazibeka endaweni kaYehova. Eneneni ikratshi labalawuli baseBhabhiloni lalibonisa isimo sengqondo ‘sothixo wale nkqubo yezinto’—uSathana uMtyholi. (2 Korinte 4:4) Naye unyolukele igunya yaye ulangazelela ukuziphakamisa ngaphezu kukaYehova uThixo. Kodwa igama elithi Lusifa asililo igama elisetyenziswa ziZibhalo ukubhekisela kuSathana.
• Kutheni eyoku-1 yeziKronike 2:13-15 isithi uDavide ungunyana wesixhenxe kaYese, ngoxa eyoku-1 kaSamuweli 16:10, 11 ibonisa ukuba wayengowesibhozo?
Emva kokuba uKumkani uSawule wakwaSirayeli wamandulo elushiyile unqulo lokwenyaniso, uYehova uThixo wathumela umprofeti uSamuweli ukuba aye kuthambisa omnye woonyana bakaYese njengokumkani. Ingxelo ephefumlelweyo eyimbali yesi siganeko awayibhala ngokwakhe uSamuweli kwinkulungwane ye-11 B.C.E., ibonisa ukuba uDavide wayengunyana wesibhozo kaYese. (1 Samuweli 16:10-13) Ukanti, ingxelo eyabhalwa ngumbingeleli uEzra malunga neminyaka engama-600 kamva ithi: “UYese wazala uEliyabhi izibulo lakhe, noAbhinadabhi owesibini, noShimeya owesithathu, uNetaneli owesine, uRadayi owesihlanu, uOtsem owesithandathu, uDavide owesixhenxe.” (1 Kronike 2:13-15) Kwenzeka ntoni komnye wabantakwaboDavide, yaye kutheni uEzra engathethi nto ngaye?
IZibhalo zithi uYese “wayenoonyana abasibhozo.” (1 Samuweli 17:12) Kubonakala ukuba omnye woonyana bakhe akazange aphile ixesha elide ngokwaneleyo ade atshate aze abe nabantwana. Ekubeni wayengenanzala, wayengenakuba nabango kwilifa lesizwe sakowabo yaye kwakungekho nto ibalulekileyo ekwakunokuthethwa ngayo kwingxelo yomlibo kaYese.
Ngoku makhe sicinge ngomhla kaEzra. Cinga ngeemeko awayibhala phantsi kwazo incwadi yeziKronike. AmaYuda ayekhululwe ekuthinjweni eBhabhiloni kwiminyaka engama-77 eyadlulayo, yaye ngoku ayebuyele kwilizwe lawo. Ukumkani wasePersi wayegunyazise uEzra ukuba amisele abagwebi nabafundisi boMthetho kaThixo nokuba ahombise indlu kaYehova. Kwakufuneka kubhalwe uludwe oluchanileyo lomlibo ukuze kuqinisekiswe ngamafa nokuba ngabantu abafanelekileyo kuphela abangababingeleli. Ngoko ke uEzra wabhala ingxelo epheleleyo yembali yolu hlanga, kuquka ingxelo ecacileyo nenokuthenjwa yomlibo kaYuda noDavide. Igama lonyana kaYese owafa engenabantwana lalingabalulekanga. Ngenxa yoko, uEzra walishiya igama lakhe.
