Abathunywa Bevangeli Bathunywa Ukuba Baye “Kwenza Abafundi”
“UKUZE abantu bazo zonke iintlanga beve iindaba ezilungileyo kwakuza kufuneka amanye amaKristu ashiye iintsapho namakhaya awo ukuze aye kushumayela kwamanye amazwe.” UDavid Splane weQumrhu Elilawulayo lamaNgqina kaYehova walivula ngaloo mazwi itheko lokuvuyisana nabo babephumelele kwiSikolo saseGiliyadi.
NgoMatshi 13, 2010, abantu abamalunga nama-8 000 babekho kwitheko lokuvuyisana nabo baphumelele kwiklasi ye-128 yeSikolo seBhayibhile seWatchtower saseGiliyadi. Kwelo theko kwakukho abahlobo, izalamane neendwendwe ezivela kumazwe angama-27.

UMzalwana uSplane wathi, “uYesu akazange abaxelele nje into ababefanele bayenze abafundi bakhe. Wabafundisa nendlela yokuyenza. Akazange abaxelele nje ukuba bathandaze kodwa wabafundisa ukuthandaza. Akazange abayalele ukuba bashumayele kodwa wababonisa nendlela yokushumayela. Akazange athi bafanele bakwazi ukufundisa nje kuphela kodwa wababonisa indlela yokufundisa ephumelelayo.”
Xa wayethetha nabazali babafundi, usihlalo wacaphula amazwi awathethwa nguYesu xa wayeqinisekisa abafundi bakhe esithi: “Khangelani! ndinani yonke imihla de kube sekuphelisweni kwenkqubo yezinto.” (Mateyu 28:20) UMzalwana uSplane waqinisekisa ababekho ukuba uYesu wayeza kubanyamekela abafundi kwizabelo zabo.
“Qhayisani”
UAnthony Morris weQumrhu Elilawulayo wakhuthaza abafundi ukuba ‘baqhayise.’ Wathi kukho ukuqhayisa okufanelekileyo nokungafanelekanga. Ukuqhayisa okungafanelekanga kwenzelwa ukuzizukisa. Ukanti ukuqhayisa okufanelekileyo kuchazwe kweyoku-1 kwabaseKorinte 1:31: “Lowo uqhayisayo, makaqhayise ngoYehova.” UMzalwana uMorris wathi: “Ufanele uqhayise xa unokuqonda nolwazi ngoYehova uThixo. Enyanisweni elona lungelo likhulu sinalo kukuthwala igama elingcwele lokuba ngamaNgqina kaYehova.”—Yeremiya 9:24.

UMzalwana uMorris waqukumbela intshumayelo yakhe ngala mazwi: “Xa nifika kwizabelo zenu, qhayisani. Qhayisani ngezinto aza kuziphumeza uYehova njengoko esebenzisa nina ukuze azukiswe ngonaphakade.”
“Ngaba Niza Kuziphumeza Izabelo Zenu?”
UGeoffrey Jackson, olilungu leQumrhu Elilawulayo nowakha waba ngumthunywa wevangeli wanceda abo babephumelele ukuba bacinge ngalo mbuzo ungasentla. Wabuza ukuba: “Sithetha ukuthini xa sisithi umntu ngumthunywa wevangeli?” Wathi igama elithi “umthunywa wevangeli” livela kwelesiLatini elibhekisela kumntu okanye iqela labantu eliye lafumana isabelo esikhethekileyo. Isabelo sethu thina maNgqina kaYehova kukushumayela iindaba ezilungileyo nokunceda abanye babe nokholo. Xa sisenza lo msebenzi sixelisa uYesu Kristu, owayesoloko eyikhumbula inkonzo yakhe. Kwirhuluneli yaseRoma uPontiyo Pilato uYesu wathi: “Ndizele oku ehlabathini, ukuze ndiyingqinele inyaniso.”—Yohane 18:37.
Isithethi sakhumbuza abafundi ngebali leBhayibhile elingedabi laseYeriko. Kangangeentsuku ezintandathu umkhosi wakwaSirayeli wawuvuka ekuseni, unxibe impahla yomkhosi, ujikeleze isixeko saseYeriko uze uphinde ubuyele ekhaya. UJackson wathi, “kubantu loo nto yayibonakala ingenangqiqo.” Wathi kusenokwenzeka ukuba namanye amajoni ayesithi ‘yinkcitha xesha.’ Kodwa ke ngosuku lwesixhenxe amaSirayeli ayalelwa ukuba asijikeleze kasixhenxe isixeko aze emva koko amemeze. UMzalwan’ uJackson wathi sifunda izifundo ezine kwibali laseYeriko. (1) Sifanele sithobele. Sifanele sizenze ngendlela kaYehova izinto kungekhona ngendlela esibona ngayo. (2) Kubalulekile ukuba nokholo nokumthemba uYehova. ‘Indonga zaseYeriko zawiswa lukholo’ kungakhange kuliwe. (Hebhere 11:30) (3) Simele sibe nomonde. Ekuhambeni kwexesha uYehova uya ‘kunisikelela.’ (Duteronomi 28:2) (4) Musa ukunikezela. Ningaze nilulibale uthumo lwenu. Xa wayequkumbela intshumayelo yakhe uMzalwan’ uJackson wathi, “ukuba anizilibali ezi zinto sithethe ngazo apha, niya kuluzalisekisa uthumo lwenu kuze kuzukiswe uYehova.”

“Thanda IBhayibhile Nombhali Wayo.” Lowo yayingumxholo wentshumayelo kaMaxwell Lloyd, olilungu leKomiti yeSebe laseUnited States. Wathi kubafundi, “Nifanele niyithande iBhayibhile.” Emva koko wabakhuthaza esithi: Lungaze lwethe uthando lwenu ngoYehova uThixo. Musani ukucinga ukuba wonke umntu uyayiva into eniyifundisayo. ‘Qwalaselani amahlungulu.’ UMichael Burnett, ongumhlohli kwisikolo saseGiliyadi nowayekade engumthunywa wevangeli wenza intshumayelo eyayinalo mxholo ungasentla. Wathi, maxa wambi siza kuxhalaba. Kodwa khumbulani isiluleko sikaYesu esithi: “Phawulani kakuhle ukuba amahlungulu akahlwayeli mbewu yaye akavuni, . . . ukanti uThixo uyawondla.” (Luka 12:24) UMthetho kaSirayeli wawusithi amahlungulu akahlambulukanga ngenxa yoko ayengatyiwa ibe ayenezothe. “Andikonanga nganto.” UMark Noumair naye ngumhlohli waseGiliyadi, wathetha ngomzekeliso kaYesu ongabasebenzi basesidiliyeni. Abanye babo basebenza imini yonke. Kodwa abanye basebenza iyure nje enye. Nakuba kunjalo bonke bafumana umvuzo ofanayo. Abo babesebenze imini yonke bakhalaza. Umnini sidiliya wathi kubo: ‘Andinonanga nganto. Benivumelene nam ngedenariyo, akunjalo? Thathani okwenu nize nihambe.’ (Mateyu 20:13, 14) Sifunda ntoni apha? Ungaze uzithelekise nabanye. UMzalwan’ uNoumair wathi: “Ukuzithelekisa nabanye kuya kukwenza ungonwabi. Okona kubi nangakumbi kukuba kusenokukwenza usishiye isabelo sakho.” Lo mzalwana wakhumbuza iklasi ukuba uYesu walathisa umsebenzi wokushumayela yaye unokwenza nantoni na ayifunayo kubalandeli bakhe. Ukuba uYehova noYesu bagqiba ekubeni banike abanye okungakumbi, abakoni nganto. Jonga nje okwakho yaye ungavumeli “umvuzo” wabanye uphazamise umsebenzi akunike wona uYehova.

Xa bengekho sesikolweni, abafundi baseGiliyadi bashumayela namaNgqina kaYehova asekuhlaleni. USam Roberson ongomnye wabahlohli baseGiliyadi wadlan’ indlebe nabafundi. Ngokomzekelo, udade Alessandra Kirchler wadibana nenye inkosikazi eyayikhathazwa ngunyana wayo owayetshaya. UAlessandra waphinda waya kuyibona eyiphathele uVukani! owayethetha ngokutshaya. Wafika kungekho mntu ekhaya kodwa ke wayishiya incwadi. Ekugqibeleni uAlessandra wade wayifumana le nkosikazi. Yalithanda kakhulu eli phephancwadi yaza yathi, “Bendisoloko ndizibuza ukuba yintoni afuna ukundifundisa yona uThixo ngazo zonke ezi zilingo andifaka kuzo.” UAlessandra wayibonisa eBhayibhileni ukuba uThixo akabangeli ukuba sehlelwe zizinto ezibuhlungu. (Yakobi 1:13) Ngoku le nkosikazi kunye nonyana wayo bafunda iBhayibhile.
UMelvin Jones osebenza kwiSebe leNkonzo wadlan’ indlebe nabazalwana abathathu ababekhe bafunda eGiliyadi: UJon Sommerud, okhonza eAlbania; uMark Anderson, okhonza eKenya noJames Hinderer osebenza kwiSebe leZikolo Zobuthixo. Bobathathu bavuma ukuba eGiliyadi akufundiswa iinyaniso zeBhayibhile nje kuphela kodwa kufundiswa nendlela yokuphila ngazo, kungakhathaliseki ukuba umfundi ngubani yaye uvela phi.
