Wafundisa Ntoni UYesu Ngesihogo?
UYesu wathi: “Ukuba iliso lakho likwenza wone, likhuphe. Kubhetele ungene eBukumkanini bukaThixo uneliso elinye kunokuba ungene esihogweni unamehlo amabini. Apho zingafiyo iimpethu, nalapho umlilo ungacimiyo.”—Marko 9:47, 48, Contemporary English Version.
Ngesinye isihlandlo uYesu wathetha ngexesha lomgwebo apho wayeza kuthi kwabangendawo: “Mkani kum nina niqalekisiweyo, niye emlilweni ongunaphakade owalungiselelwa uMtyholi neengelosi zakhe.” Wahlabela mgama wathi aba babeza “kufumana isohlwayo sikanaphakade.”—MATEYU 25:41, 46, New American Bible.

Wayebhekisela entwenini uYesu xa wathi abantu baphoswa “esihogweni somlilo”? Igama lantlandlolo lesiGrike eliguqulelwe ngokuthi “isihogo” kuMarko 9:47 nguGeʹen·na. Eli gama lithatyathwe kwigama lesiHebhere elinguGeh Hin·nomʹ, elithetha “iNtlambo kaHinom.” INtlambo kaHinom yayingaphandle kweYerusalem yamandulo. Xa uYesu wayethetha ngeempethu ezingafiyo nomlilo ongacimiyo wayebhekisela kuIsaya 66:24. Xa ethetha ‘ngezidumbu zamadoda anxaxhileyo [kuThixo],’ uIsaya uthi “iimpethu aziyi kufa nomlilo wawo awuyi kucima.” (KJ) UYesu nabo babemphulaphule babesazi ukuba la mazwi ayebhekisela kwizidumbu zabantu ezazingafanele kungcwatywa.

Okanye ngaba uYesu wayesebenzisa ibinzana elithi “umlilo” ngokufuziselayo? Abangendawo baya ngayiphi ingqiqo ‘kwisohlwayo sikanaphakade’? Nangona iinguqulelo ezininzi zisebenzisa igama elithi ‘isohlwayo’ elikuMateyu 25:46, ngokuyintloko igama lesiGrike elithi koʹla·sin lithetha “ukuhlola indlela ekhula ngayo imithi,” okanye ukuyithena, ukususa amasebe angafunekiyo. Kunoko wathi: “UThixo walithanda ihlabathi kangangokuba wanikela ngoNyana wakhe okuphela kwamzeleyo, ukuze bonke abanokholo kuye bangatshabalali kodwa bafumane ubomi obungunaphakade.” (Yohane 3:16, NAB) Kwakutheni ukuze uYesu athi abo bangenalukholo kuye baya kufa? Ukuba ngokwenene wayethetha ukuba baza kuphila ngonaphakade, bethuthunjiswa kwisihogo somlilo, wayeza kutsho.
Imfundiso yokuba isihogo yindawo ekuthuthunjiswa kuyo abantu ayisekelwanga eBhayibhileni. Yimfundiso yobuhedeni ekwenziwa ngathi yeyobuKristu. YINTONI “IDIKE LOMLILO”?
ISityhilelo 20:10 sithi uMtyholi uya kuphoswa “edikeni lomlilo” aze “athuthunjiswe imini nobusuku ngonaphakade kanaphakade.” (King James Version) Ukuba uMtyholi ebeza kuthuthunjiswa ngonaphakade, uThixo ebemele amgcine ephila, kodwa iBhayibhile ithi uYesu uza “kumtshabalalisa.” (Hebhere 2:14, KJ) Idike lomlilo lifuzisela “ukufa kwesibini.” (ISityhilelo 21:8) Oku asikokufa kokuqala ekuthethwe ngako eBhayibhileni, okwabangelwa sisono sika-Adam, abaza kuvuswa kuko abantu.
