UYesu Nomlawuli Oselula Osisityebi
NJENGOKO uYesu ehamba ukutyhubela isithili sasePereya esinge eYerusalem, kuza umfana ebaleka aze aguqe phambi kwakhe. Le ndoda ibizwa ngokuba ngumlawuli, ngokusenokwenzeka oku kuthetha ukuba isesikhundleni esiphakamileyo kwindlu yesikhungu yasekuhlaleni okanye ililungu leNtlanganiso Yamatyala. Kwakhona, ikwasisinhanha. Iyabuza: “Mfundisi ulungileyo, ndenze ntoni na, ukuze ndibudle ilifa ubomi obungunaphakade?”
UYesu uyaphendula: “Yini na ukuba uthi ndilungile? Akukho ulungileyo, mnye kwaphela—nguThixo.” Kusenokwenzeka ukuba lo mfana usebenzisa igama elithi “ulungileyo” njengesibizo, ngoko uYesu uyamazisa ukuba isibizo esinjalo sesikaThixo kuphela.
UYesu uhlabela mgama esenjenje: “Ukuba ke uthanda ukungena ebomini, yigcine imithetho.”
Le ndoda iyabuza, “Yiphi na?”
Ecaphula emihlanu kwiMithetho Elishumi, uYesu uyaphendula: “Yona le: uze ungabulali, uze ungakrexezi, uze ungebi, uze ungangqini buxoki, beka uyihlo nonyoko.” Esongezelela kwanowona mthetho ubaluleke ngakumbi, uYesu uthi: “Uze umthande ummelwane wakho njengoko uzithanda ngako.”
Le ndoda iphendula ngokunyanisekileyo isithi, “Zonke ezo zinto ndazigcina kwasebuncinaneni bam; ndisaswele ntoni na?”
Ephulaphule esi sicelo sokwenene nesinyanisekileyo sale ndoda, uYesu uziva eyithanda. Kodwa uYesu uphawula ukuthanda kwayo ngokunzulu izinto eziphathekayo, aze ngoko abonise oko kufuneka ikwenzile: “Kukho nto-nye uyisweleyo: hamba uye kuthengisa ngeento zonke onazo, uphe amahlwempu, woba nobutyebi ke emazulwini; yiza ke undilandele.”
UYesu uyondele, ngokungathandabuzekiyo enosizi, njengoko le ndoda iphakama ize imke ibuhlungu ngokunzulu. Ubutyebi bayo buyenza ukuba ingaliboni ixabiso lobutyebi bokwenyaniso. Ebuhlungu uYesu uthi, “Hayi, ukuba ngenkankulu ukuya kungena kwabo banobutyebi ebukumkanini bukaThixo!”
Abafundi baqhiphuk’ umbilini ngala mazwi kaYesu. Kodwa bamangaliswa kwanangakumbi xa ehlabela mgama echaza le ntetho iqhelekileyo: “Kuba kulula ukuba inkamela iphumele entunjeni yenaliti, kunokuba isityebi singene ebukumkanini bukaThixo.”
Abafundi bafuna ukwazi besithi, “Ngubani na ongasindiswayo?”
Ondele ke kubo uYesu uyaphendula: “Kubantu akunakwenzeka; kuye yena uThixo akunakuba kungenzeki; kuba zonke izinto zinako ukwenzeka kuye uThixo.”
Ephawula ukuba bona benze ukhetho olwahluke ngokupheleleyo kolo lomlawuli oselula osisityebi, uPetros uthi: “Uyabona, thina sishiye iinto zonke sakulandela.” Ngoko uyabuza: “Siya kuba nantoni na ke?”
UYesu uyathembisa, “Nina nindilandeleyo, ekuzalweni okutsha, xa athe wahlala uNyana woMntu phezu kwetrone yozuko lwakhe, niya kuhlala nani phezu kweetrone ezilishumi elinambini, nigweba ezizweni ezilishumi elinazibini zakwaSirayeli.” Ewe, uYesu ubonisa ukuba kuya kubakho ukuzalwa okutsha kweemeko ezisemhlabeni ukuze izinto zibe njengoko zazinjalo emyezweni wase-Eden. Ibe uPetros nabanye abafundi baya kufumana umvuzo wokulawula kunye noKristu kule Paradisi yomhlaba wonke. Ngokuqinisekileyo, umvuzo ozuke ngolo hlobo ukufanelekele nakuphi na ukuzincama!
Phofu ke, nangoku ikho imivuzo, njengoko uYesu eqinisekisa ngokuthi: “Akukho namnye ushiye indlu, nokuba ngabazalwana, nokuba ngoodade, nokuba nguyise, nokuba ngunina, nokuba ngumfazi, nokuba ngabantwana, nokuba ngamasimi, ngenxa yam nangenxa yeendaba ezilungileyo ezi, ongayi kuthi amkeliswe kalikhulu: ngoku ngeli xesha, izindlu, nabazalwana, noodade, noonina, nabantwana, namasimi, ndawonye neentshutshiso; nakwelizayo iphakade, ubomi obungunaphakade.”
Njengokuba uYesu ethembisa, naphi na apho baya khona abafundi bakhe ehlabathini, banandipha ulwalamano namaKristu angoowabo olusondele noluxabiseke ngakumbi kunolo lunanditshwa ngamalungu eentsapho zokwenyama. Kuyabonakala ukuba umlawuli oselula osisityebi ulahlekelwa kokubini ngulo mvuzo nalowo wobomi obungunaphakade kuBukumkani bukaThixo basezulwini.
Emva koko uYesu walek’ umsundulo esenjenje: “Ke baninzi abokuqala abaya kuba ngabokugqibela, nabokugqibela abaya kuba ngabokuqala.” Uthetha ukuthini?
Uthetha ukuba abantu abaninzi ‘abangabokuqala’ ekunandipheni amalungelo angokonqulo, ngokufanayo nomlawuli oselula osisityebi, abayi kungena eBukumkanini. Baya kuba “ngabokugqibela.” Kodwa abaninzi, kuquka abafundi bakaYesu abathobekileyo, abajongelwa phantsi ngabaFarisi abazingcayo ‘njengabangabokugqibela’—njengabantu bomhlaba, okanye ii‛am ha·’aʹrets—baya kuba “ngabokuqala.” Ukuba “ngabokuqala” kwabo kuthetha ukuba baya kufumana ilungelo lokuba ngabalawuli noKristu eBukumkanini.
