UYesu uxela kusengaphambili ukuba kuya kubakho “iimfazwe namarhe eemfazwe.” Uthi, “Uhlanga luya kuvukelana nohlanga,” yaye kuya kubakho iindlala, iinyikima zomhlaba neendyikityha zokufa. Abafundi bakhe baya kuthiywa baze babulawe. Kuya kuvela abaprofeti ababuxoki baze balahlekise abaninzi. Ukuchasa umthetho kuya kwanda, yaye uthando lwabaninzi luya kuphola. Njengoko uLwesibini, ngoNisan 11, esondela ekupheleni, uYesu uhlabela mgama exubusha nabapostile bakhe ngomqondiso wobukho bakhe esemandleni oBukumkani nowokupheliswa kwenkqubo yezinto. Ubalumkisa ngokulandelana nooKristu bobuxoki. Uthi, kuya kwenziwa amalinge okuba, “ukuba bekunokwenzeka, balahlekise nabanyuliweyo.” Kodwa, njengeenkozi ezibona kude, aba banyuliweyo baya kuhlanganisana kwindawo apho ukudla kokomoya kokwenyaniso kunokufumaneka khona, oko kukuthi, kuKristu wokwenyaniso ngethuba lobukho bakhe obungabonakaliyo. UYesu uhlabela mgama esithi, “Namandla amazulu azanyazanyiswe.” Ngaloo ndlela ubonisa ukuba amazulu okoqobo aya kuba nembonakalo enxubisayo. Amazulu awayi kuba ngummandla weentaka nje kuphela, kodwa aya kuzaliswa ziinqwelo-moya zokulwa, ziziphekepheke nangoosomajukujuku abenza uphando. Kuya kubakho uloyiko nogonyamelo olungazange lubekho nanini na ngaphambili kwimbali yoluntu.
Ngenxa yoko, uYesu uthi, “kuya kubakho ukuxinezeleka kweentlanga zithingaza; lugquma ulwandle namaza; abantu besifa kukoyika nakukulindela izinto ezilizelayo elimiweyo.” Enyanisweni, eli xesha lilelona lobumnyama kwixesha lokubakho koluntu liya kukhokelela kwixesha laxa, njengoko uYesu esitsho, “uya kubonakala ngelo xesha umqondiso woNyana woMntu ezulwini; zimbambazele ngelo xesha zonke izizwe zomhlaba.”

Kwangokunjalo nani, xa nithe nazibona ezi zinto zisihla, yazini ukuba bukufuphi ubukumkani bukaThixo. Inene ndithi kuni, Asiyi kukha sidlule esi sizukulwana, zide zihle zonke ezi zinto.”
Ngaloo ndlela, xa abafundi bakhe bebona iinkalo ezininzi ezahlukahlukeneyo zomqondiso zizaliseka, bafanele baqonde ukuba isiphelo senkqubo yezinto sisemnyango nokuba uBukumkani bukaThixo buya kuthi kungekudala butshayele bonke ubungendawo. Enyanisweni, isiphelo siya kufika ebudeni bexesha lokuphila kwabantu abakubonayo ukuzaliseka kwazo zonke izinto uYesu azixela kusengaphambili! Eluleka abafundi ababeya kube bephila ebudeni bemihla yokugqibela enomgcipheko, uYesu uthi:
“Zilumkeleni ke, hleze zisindwe iintliziyo zenu kukuzingxala, nakukunxila, nangamaxhala obu bomi, ize loo mini inifikele ngebhaqo. Kuba iya kubazela njengomgibe bonke abahleliyo phezu kwehlabathi lonke. Phaphani ngoko, amaxesha onke nikhunga, ukuze kuthiwe nikufanele ukuzisaba zonke ezo zinto ziza kuhla, nokumiswa phambi koNyana woMntu.”
Iintombi Eziziingqondi Neziziziyatha
UYesu ebesabela kwisicelo sabapostile esingomqondiso wobukho bakhe esemandleni oBukumkani. Ngoku unikela iinkalo ezibhekele phaya zomqondiso ngemizekeliso emithathu.
Ukuzaliseka komzekeliso ngamnye kwakuza kuphawulwa ngabo baphila ngethuba lobukho bakhe. Uchaza owokuqala ngamazwi athi: “Ngelo xesha ubukumkani bamazulu buya kufanekiswa neentombi ezilishumi, ezazithabathayo izibane zazo, zaphuma zaya kumkhawulela umyeni. Ezintlanu ke kuzo zaye ziziingqondi, ezintlanu ziziziyatha.”
Ngokusebenzisa amazwi athi “ubukumkani bamazulu buya kufanekiswa neentombi ezilishumi,” uYesu akathethi ukuthi isiqingatha sabo babudla ilifa uBukumkani basezulwini bangabantu abaziziyatha size isiqingatha sibe ngabaziingqondi! Akunjalo, kodwa uthetha ukuba ngokuphathelele uBukumkani bamazulu, kukho inkalo elolu hlobo okanye eloluya, okanye ukuba imibandela ephathelele uBukumkani iya kuba nje nanjeya.
Iintombi ezilishumi zifuzisela onke amaKristu anethemba okanye athi anethemba lokudla ilifa uBukumkani basezulwini. KwakungePentekoste yowama-33 C.E. elathi ibandla lamaKristu lathenjiswa ukutshatiswa noMyeni ovusiweyo nozukisiweyo, uYesu Kristu. Kodwa lo mtshato wawuza kuqhubeka ezulwini ngexesha elithile elizayo elingachazwanga.
Kulo mzekeliso, iintombi ezilishumi ziphuma ngenjongo yokwamkela umyeni nokuthelela kungcelele lomtshato. Xa efika, ziya kukhanyisa indlela ehamba olu ngcelele ngezibane zazo, ngaloo ndlela zinikela imbeko kuye njengoko esizisa umtshakazi wakhe endlwini alungiselelwe yona. Noko ke, uYesu uyacacisa: “Ezo ziziziyatha zaphatha izibane zazo, azaphatha oli nazo; kodwa eziziingqondi zaphatha ioli ezityeni zazo kwanezibane zazo. Zaza zavuka zonke ezo ntombi, zalungisa izibane zazo. Zathi ke eziziziyatha kweziziingqondi, Sipheni kwioli yenu leyo, ngokuba izibane zethu zicima. Zaphendula ke eziziingqondi, zathi, Hayi, hleze inganeli kuthi nakuni; yiyani kanye kwabathengisayo, nizithengele.”
Ioli ifuzisela oko kuwagcina amaKristu okwenyaniso ekhanya njengezikhanyiso. Oku, liLizwi likaThixo eliphefumlelweyo, abambelele ngokuthe nkqi kulo amaKristu, ndawonye nomoya oyingcwele, owanceda ukuba aliqonde elo Lizwi. Le oli yokomoya yenza ukuba iintombi eziziingqondi zikhanyise ngoxa zisamkela umyeni ngethuba longcelele lomsitho womtshato. “Kuthe ke, zisaya kuthenga [ioli iintombi eziziziyatha], wafika umyeni; zaza ezo bezisezilungile zangena naye emsithweni, lwavalwa ke ucango. Zithi ke kamva zifike nezinye iintombi ezo, zisithi, Nkosi, nkosi, sivulele. Yaphendula ke yona yathi, Inene ndithi kuni, andinazi nina.”
Emva kokuba uKristu efikile ekuBukumkani bakhe basezulwini, amaKristu okwenyaniso nathanjisiweyo odidi lweentombi eziziingqondi avukela kwilungelo lawo lokukhanyisa kweli hlabathi lisebumnyameni edumisa uMyeni ofikileyo. Kodwa abo bafanekiselwa ziintombi eziziziyatha abakulungelanga ukunikela le ndumiso yolwamkelo. Ngoko xa ixesha lifika, uKristu akabavuleli ucango ukuze bangene kumsitho womtshato osezulwini. Ubashiya ngaphandle ebumnyameni basezinzulwini zobusuku beli hlabathi, ukuze batshabalale kunye nabo bonke abanye abasebenzi bokuchasene nomthetho. UYesu uqukumbela ngelithi, “Phaphani ngoko, ngokuba ningayazi imini kwanalo ilixa.”
Umzekeliso Weetalente
UYesu uhlabela mgama exubusha nabapostile bakhe kwiNtaba yemiNquma ngokubenzela omnye umzekeliso, ongowesibini kungcelele lwemithathu. Kwiintsuku ezimbalwa ngaphambilana, ngoxa ebeseYeriko, wenza umzekeliso weemina ukubonisa ukuba kwakuseza kudlula ixesha elide ngaphambi kokuba bufike uBukumkani. Umzekeliso awubalisayo ngoku, ngoxa uneenkalo eziliqela ezifanayo, uchaza kwinzaliseko yawo okuya kwenzeka ebudeni bobukho bukaKristu esemandleni oBukumkani. Ubonisa ukuba abafundi bakhe bafanele basebenze ngoxa besesemhlabeni ukuze bandise “impahla yakhe.”
UYesu uqalisa ngokuthi: “Kuba [oko kukuthi, kwiimeko ezinxulumene noBukumkani] kunjengomntu owathi, eza kuhambela kwelinye, wabiza abakhe abakhonzi, wayinikela kubo impahla yakhe.” UYesu yindoda eyathi, ngaphambi kokuhambela kwelikude ezulwini, yayaleza abakhonzi bayo—abafundi abanethemba lokuba kuBukumkani basezulwini—impahla yayo. Le mpahla asiyompahla yokoqobo kodwa, ifanekisela intsimi esetyenziweyo aye wayihlakulela ukuba ikhuphe abafundi abangakumbi kwixesha elizayo.
UYesu uyishiya impahla yakhe kubakhonzi bakhe ngaphambi nje kokuba anyukele ezulwini. Ukwenza njani oko? Ngokubayalela ukuba baqhubeke besebenza intsimi ebisetyenziwe ngokushumayela isigidimi soBukumkani ukuya kwezona ndawo zikude zomhlaba. Kunjengokuba uYesu esithi: “Omnye wamnika iitalente zantlanu, omnye zambini, nomnye yaba nye, walowo wanikwa ngokwawakhe amandla; wahambela kwelinye kwaoko.”
Ngaloo ndlela iitalente ezisibhozo—impahla kaKristu—zabiwa ngokwamandla, okanye ngokoko abakhonzi banokukwenza ngokomoya. Abakhonzi bafanekisela iindidi zabafundi. Kwinkulungwane yokuqala, udidi olwafumana iitalente ezintlanu ngokucacileyo luquka abapostile. UYesu uhlabela mgama ebalisa ukuba umkhonzi owafumana iitalente ezintlanu nowafumana ezimbini baziphindaphinda ngokushumayela kwabo ngoBukumkani nokwenza abafundi. Noko ke, umkhonzi owafumana italente enye wayifihla emhlabeni.
UYesu uhlabela mgama esithi: “Ithi ke emveni kwexesha elikhulu, ifike inkosi yabo bakhonzi, ibalelane nabo.” Kuphela kwaba kwinkulungwane yama-20, iminyaka enokuba li-1 900 kamva, awathi uKristu wabuya ukuze abalelane nabo, ngokwenene, kwakusemva “kwexesha elikhulu.” Wandula ke uYesu achaze:
“Weza lowo wamkela iitalente ezintlanu, wazisa esinye isihlanu seetalente, esithi, Nkosi, wandinika iitalente zantlanu; khangela, ndizuze esinye isihlanu seetalente phezu kwazo. Yathi ke kuye iNkosi yakhe, Hee ke, mkhonzi ulungileyo, uthembekileyo! Ubuthembekile kwiinto ezimbalwa; ndiya kukumisa phezu kweento ezininzi; ngena eluvuyweni lwenkosi yakho.” Umkhonzi owafumana iitalente ezimbini ngokukwanjalo waziphinda kabini iitalente zakhe, ibe wanconywa ngokufanayo waza wafumana umvuzo ofanayo.
Noko ke, bangena njani aba bakhonzi bathembekileyo eluvuyweni lweNkosi yabo? Kaloku, uvuyo lweNkosi yabo, uYesu Kristu, lolo lokuzuza uBukumkani xa wahamba esiya kwelikude kuYise ezulwini. Kubakhonzi abathembekileyo kumaxesha anamhlanje, banovuyo olukhulu ekuzuzeni imbopheleleko engakumbi yoBukumkani, ibe njengoko begqiba ikhondo labo lasemhlabeni, baya kuba novuyo olugqithiseleyo lokuvuselwa kuBukumkani basezulwini. Kodwa kuthekani ngomkhonzi wesithathu?
Lo mkhonzi ukhalaza esithi: “Nkosi, bendikwazi wena ukuba ungumntu olukhuni, . . . ndasuka ndoyika, ndaya ndayiselela italente yakho ngomhlaba; nanku unako okwakho.” Lo mkhonzi wala ngabom ukusebenza kwintsimi eyayisele isetyenziwe ngokushumayela nokwenza abafundi. Ngoko inkosi imbiza ngokuba ‘ukhohlakele yaye ulivila’ ibe ivakalisa esi sigwebo: “Mhlutheni ngoko italente leyo, . . . Naye umkhonzi ongancedi lutho, mkhupheleni ebumnyameni obungaphandle; khona apho kuya kubakho ukulila nokutshixiza kwamazinyo.” Abo bodidi lwalo mkhonzi ukhohlakeleyo, ekubeni bekhutshelwe ngaphandle, bahluthwa naluphi na uvuyo lokomoya.
Oku kusisifundo esihle kubo bonke abo bazibanga bengabalandeli bakaKristu. Bafanele basebenzele ukwandisa impahla yeNkosi yabo yasezulwini ngokuba nesabelo esizeleyo kumsebenzi wokushumayela ukuba bafuna ukunconywa nokufumana umvuzo kwanokuba bafuna ukuphepha ukulahlelwa ngaphandle ebumnyameni nokutshatyalaliswa ekugqibeleni. Ngaba ukhuthele kule nkalo?
Xa UKristu Efika Esemandleni OBukumkani
UYesu usekunye nabapostile bakhe kwiNtaba yeMinquma. Enikel’ ingqalelo kwisicelo sabo somqondiso wobukho bakhe nokupheliswa kwale nkqubo yezinto, ngoku ubaxelela owokugqibela kungcelele lwemizekeliso yakhe emithathu. UYesu uqalisa ngokuthi, “Xa ke athe wafika uNyana womntu esebuqaqawulini bakhe, enazo zonke izithunywa ezingcwele, ngelo xa uya kuhlala phezu kwetrone yobuqaqawuli bakhe.”
Abantu abanakuzibona izithunywa zezulu xa zisebuqaqawulini bazo basezulwini. Ngoko ukufika koNyana woMntu, uYesu Kristu, nezithunywa zezulu kumele kungabonakali emehlweni abantu. Wafika ngonyaka we-1914. Kodwa yiyiphi injongo yokuza kwakhe? UYesu uyacacisa: “Zihlanganiswe phambi kwakhe zonke iintlanga, abahlule abanye kwabanye, njengokuba umalusi ezahlula izimvu ezibhokhweni; athi zona izimvu azimise ngasekunene kwakhe, athi kodwa zona iibhokhwe azimise ngasekhohlo.”
Echaza okuya kwenzeka kwabo bahlulelwe ngakwicala elikholekileyo, uYesu uthi: “Uya kuthi ukumkani kwabangasekunene kwakhe, Yizani, nina nisikelelweyo nguBawo, nibudle ilifa ubukumkani obalungiselelwa nina kwasekusekweni kwehlabathi.” Izimvu ezikulo mzekeliso aziyi kulawula noKristu ezulwini kodwa ziya kubudla ilifa uBukumkani ngengqiqo yokuba zibe ngabalawulwa babo basemhlabeni. ‘Ukusekwa kwehlabathi’ kwenzeka xa uAdam noEva baqalisa ukuvelisa abantwana ababenokungenelwa kwilungiselelo likaThixo lokuhlawulelwa koluntu.
Kodwa kutheni izimvu zisahlulelwa kwisandla sokunene esikholekileyo soKumkani? UKumkani uyaphendula, “Kuba ndalamba, nandipha ukudla; ndanxanwa, nandiseza; ndandingowasemzini, nandingenisa endlwini; ndandizé, nandambesa; ndandisifa, nandivelela; ndandisentolongweni, neza kum.”
Ekubeni izimvu zisemhlabeni, zifuna ukwazi ukuba zinokuba zazenza njani izenzo ezilunge ngolo hlobo kuKumkani wazo wasezulwini. Ziyabuza, “Nkosi, sakubona nini na ulambile, sakonga; unxaniwe, sakuseza? Sakubona nini na ke ungowasemzini, sakungenisa endlwini, uzé, sakwambesa? Sakubona nini na ke usifa, okanye usentolongweni, seza kuwe?”

Kuba ndalamba, anandipha kudla; ndanxanwa, anandiseza; ndandingowasemzini, anandingenisa ndlwini; ndandizé, anandambesa; ndandisifa, ndandisentolongweni, anandivelela.”
Noko ke, iibhokhwe ziyakhalaza: “Nkosi, sakubona nini na ulambile, okanye unxaniwe, okanye ungowasemzini, okanye uzé, okanye usifa, okanye usentolongweni, asakulungiselela?” Iibhokhwe zigwetywa ngokohlwaywa ngesizinzi esinjengeso sibangela ukuba izimvu zigwetywe njengezikholekileyo. UYesu uyaphendula esithi, “Ekubeni ningenjanga njalo nakumnye waba [bazalwana bam] bangabona bancinane, anenjanga njalo nakum.”
