Ukufundisa UmSamariyakazi
BESENDLELENI esuka kwelakwaYuda besiya eGalili, uYesu nabafundi bakhe badlula kwisithili saseSamariya. Bediniwe luhambo, malunga nasemini emaqanda bemisa baze baphumle ngasequleni elikufuphi nesixeko saseSikare. Eli qula lembiwa kwiinkulungwane ngaphambili nguYakobi, yaye lisekho unanamhla, kufuphi nesixeko sanamhlanje esibizwa ngokuba yiNablus.
Ngoxa uYesu ephumle apha, abafundi bakhe baya esixekweni ukuya kuthenga ukutya. Xa intokazi yomSamariya ifika ukuza kukha amanzi, wenza esi sicelo: “Ndiphe ndisele.”
Ngokuqhelekileyo amaYuda namaSamariya akanabudlelane ngenxa yekhethe lobuzwe elendele nzulu. Ngoko, imangalisiwe, le ntokazi iyambuza: “Uthini na wena, ungumYuda nje, ukucela kum into eselwayo, ndingumSamariyakazi nje?”
UYesu uphendula esithi: “Ukuba ubusazi, . . . ukuba ngubani na lo uthi kuwe, Ndiphe ndisele: unge ucele kuye wena, wakupha amanzi aphilileyo.”
Iphendula ithi, “Nkosi, akunanto yakukha, nequla linzulu; uwazuza phi na ke amanzi aphilileyo lawo? Wena umkhulu yini na kunobawo wethu uYakobi, owasinikayo iqula eli, wayesela kulo yena, nabantwana bakhe, nemfuyo yakhe?”
UYesu uthi, “Bonke abasela kula manzi, baya kubuya banxanwe; ke yena othe wasela kuwo amanzi, endiya kumpha wona mna, akasayi kuza anxanwe naphakade; aya kusuka amanzi, endiya kumpha wona, abe ngumthombo kuye wamanzi ampompozela ebomini obungunaphakade.”
Le ntokazi iphendula ngokuthi, “Nkosi, ndiphe loo manzi, ukuze ndinganxanwa, ndingezi nokuza kukha apha.”
Ngoku uYesu uthi kuyo: “Hamba uye kubiza indoda yakho, uze apha.”
Iphendula isithi, “Andinandoda.”
UYesu ungqinela amazwi ayo. “Ulungisile ukuthi, Andinandoda; kuba ubunamadoda amahlanu; onayo ngoku asindoda yakho.”
Imangalisiwe le ntokazi ithi, “Nkosi, ndiyabona ukuba ungumprofeti wena.” Ityhila izilangazelelo zayo ezingokomoya, ithi abantu baseSamariya “babenqula kule ntaba [iGerizim, emi kufutshane]; nina ke [maYuda] nithi iseYerusalem indawo apho abantu bamelwe kukunqula khona.”
Kanti, uYesu ubonisa ukuba indawo yokunqula asinto ibalulekileyo. Uthi, “Kuza ilixa, . . . xa abanquli abayinyaniso baya kumnqula uBawo ngoMoya nangenyaniso; kuba uBawo ufuna abanjalo ukumnqula. UThixo unguMoya; abo ke bamnqulayo bamelwe kukumnqula ngoMoya nangenyaniso.”
Le ntokazi ichukumiseka ngokunzulu. Ithi: “Ndiyazi ukuba uMesiya uyeza, ekuthiwa nguKristu; xa athe weza yena, uya kusityela izinto zonke.”
Athi uYesu kuyo: “Mna ndithethayo nawe ndinguye.” Khawufan’ ucinge! Le ntokazi eze kukha amanzi emini emaqanda, mhlawumbi isenzela ukuphepha ukudibana nabafazi besixeko abayigxekayo ngenxa yendlela ephila ngayo, ibabalwa ngendlela emangalisayo nguYesu. Engafihli nto uyixelela oko angakhange akuvakalise ngokuphandle kuye nabani na ongomnye. Ngayiphi imiphumo?
AmaSamariya Amaninzi Ayakholwa
Ekubuyeni kwabo bevela eSikare bephethe ukudla, abafundi bamfumana uYesu engasequleni likaYakobi apho bebemshiye khona, yaye ngoku apho uthetha nomSamariyakazi. Xa abafundi befika uyemka, eshiya umphanda wakhe, aze asinge esixekweni.
Enomdla gqitha kwizinto azixelelwe nguYesu, uxelela abantu besixeko oku: “Yizani, nibone umntu ondixelele izinto zonke endakha ndazenza.” Wandula ke, ngendlela yokuvus’ umdla, abuze esithi: “Lo akangebi nguye uKristu yini na?” Umbuzo uyayiphumeza injongo yawo—abantu bayahamba ukuya kuzibonela.
Ngeli xesha, abafundi babongoza uYesu ukuba adle ukutya abeze nako esixekweni. Kodwa ubaphendula athi: “Mna ndinokudla endikudlayo, eningakwaziyo nina.”
Abafundi bayabuzana: “Ingaba kukho omziseleyo na ukudla?” UYesu ubacacisela esithi: “Okwam ukudla kukuba ndenze ukuthanda kowandithumayo, ndiwufeze umsebenzi wakhe. Anitsho na nina ukuthi, Iinyanga zisene, kuze kufike ukuvuna?” Phofu ke, esalatha kukuvuna kokomoya, uYesu uthi: “Waphakamiseni amehlo enu, niwakhangele amasimi; ngokuba asele emhlophe ukuba kuvunwe. Novunayo wamkela umvuzo, abuthele iziqhamo ebomini obungunaphakade, ukuze nalowo uhlwayelayo avuye, kunye nalowo uvunayo.”
Mhlawumbi uYesu sele ewubona umphumo ozukileyo wokudibana kwakhe nalo mSamariyakazi—ukuba abaninzi bayakholwa kuye ngenxa yomSamariyakazi. Unikela ubungqina kubantu besixeko, esithi: “Undityele izinto zonke endakha ndazenza.” Ngoko ke xa abantu baseSikare besiza kuye equleni, bayamcela ukuba ahlale ukuze abaxelele okungakumbi. UYesu uyasamkela esi simemo aze ahlale iintsuku ezimbini.
Njengoko amaSamariya ephulaphula uYesu, amaninzi ngakumbi ayakholwa. Ngoko athi kulo mfazi: “Asisakholwa ngenxa yokuthetha kwakho, kuba sizivele thina ngokwethu, sazi ukuba, inyaniso, lo nguye uMsindisi wehlabathi.” Ngokuqinisekileyo umSamariyakazi usinika umzekelo omhle wendlela esinokunikela ngayo ubungqina ngoKristu ngokuvusa umdla ukuze abaphulaphuli bafune ukuphanda ngakumbi!
Khumbula ukuba ziinyanga zine ngaphambi kokuba kuvunwe—ngokucacileyo ukuvunwa kwerhasi, kuvuna oko kwelasePalestina kwenziwa entwasahlobo. Ngoko kunokwenzeka ukuba ngoku nguNovemba okanye uDisemba. Oku kuthetha ukuba emva kwePasika yowama-30 C.E., uYesu nabafundi bakhe bachithe iinyanga ezisibhozo okanye eziphantse zibe ngako kwaYuda befundisa yaye bebhaptiza. Ngoku bayanduluka besinga kummandla wakowabo kwelaseGalili. Yintoni ebalindeleyo apho? Yohane 4:3-43.
