“Ngayo Le Nto Baya Kwazi Bonke Ukuba Ningabafundi Bam”
KWAKUNGONISAN 14, 33 C.E., ubusuku bokugqibela bobomi bukaYesu basemhlabeni. Wayesazi ukuba ukufa kwakhe kwakusondele, kodwa wayengacingeli isiqu sakhe. Kunoko, walisebenzisela ukukhuthaza abafundi bakhe eli thuba.
UYesu wayesazi ukuba kwakungayi kuba lula kubo emva kokuba emkile. Babeya “kuthiywa ziintlanga zonke” ngenxa yegama lakhe. (Mat. 24:9) USathana wayeza kuzama ukubahlula nokubonakalisa. (Luka 22:31) Ngenxa yowexuko, kwakuza kuvela amaKristu obuxoki. (Mat. 13:24-30, 36-43) Ibe ‘ngenxa yokwanda kokuchas’ umthetho lwaluya kuphola uthando lwabaninzi.’ (Mat. 24:12) Xa bejamelene nako konke oku, yintoni eyayiza kugcina abafundi bakhe bokwenene bemanyene? Into yokuqala, uthando lwabo ngoYehova lwaluza kuba yintambo ebamanyanisayo. (Mat. 22:38, 37) Kodwa kwakhona kwakuya kufuneka bathandane ibe oko bakwenze ngendlela eyayiya kubenza bahluke ehlabathini. (Kol. 3:14; 1 Yoh. 4:20) Luthando olunjani uYesu awathi babeya kubonwa ngokucacileyo ngalo abalandeli bakhe bokwenyaniso?
Ngobo busuku bokugqibela, uYesu wabawisela lo myalelo: “Ndiniwisela umthetho omtsha, wokuba nithandane, njengoko ndinithandileyo nina, ukuze nani nithandane. Ngayo le nto baya kwazi bonke, ukuba ningabafundi bam, ukuba nithe nathandana.” (Yoh. 13:34, 35) UYesu wathetha ngothando izihlandlo ezingaphezu kwama-20 ngobo busuku. Yaye izihlandlo ezithathu wawisa loo mthetho wokuba ‘bathandane.’ (Yoh. 15:12, 17) Ngokucacileyo, uYesu wayengacingi nje ngabo bapostile bakhe bathembekileyo bali-11 babenaye ngaloo ngokuhlwa kodwa nangabo bonke abanye ababeya kuthi ekugqibeleni bamkele ubuKristu bokwenyaniso. (Thelekisa uYohane 17:20, 21.) Umthetho wokuthandana wawuya kuba ngobophelelayo phakathi kwamaKristu okwenyaniso “yonke imihla, kude kube sekuphelisweni kwephakade.”—Mat. 28:20.
Kodwa ngaba uYesu wayethetha ukuba nawuphi na umntu naphi na ehlabathini owayebonakalisa ububele nothando kwabanye abantu ebeya kuthi ngenxa yoko afaniswe njengomnye wabafundi bakaYesu bokwenyaniso?
“Nibe Nothando Phakathi Kwenu”
Kwangobo busuku, kwakhona uYesu wathetha okuninzi ngomanyano. Wabaxelela oku abafundi bakhe: “Nimanyane nam.” (Yoh. 15:4, NW) Wathandazela ukuba abalandeli bakhe “bonke babe banye,” waza wongezelela wathi, “njengokuba wena, Bawo, umanyene nam yaye nam ndimanyene nawe, ukuze nabo bamanyane nathi.” (Yoh. 17:21, NW) Ekwathetha ngalo mbandela wabawisela lo mthetho: “Nibe nothando phakathi kwenu.” (Yoh. 13:35, NW) Ngoko uthando lwabo lwaluya kubonakaliswa kungekuphela nje kubahlobo abambalwa abasenyongweni okanye kwibandla elinye. Ethetha amazwi afana nomthetho kaYesu, umpostile uPetros kamva wabhala: “Thandani lonke umanyano lwabazalwana [okanye, ‘ubuzalwana’].” (1 Pet. 2:17, Kingdom Interlinear; thelekisa eyoku-1 kaPetros 5:9.) Ngoko babeya kuba bubuzalwana bomhlaba wonke obumanyeneyo. Kwakuya kufuneka kubonakaliswe uthando olukhethekileyo kubo bonke abakwintsapho yomhlaba wonke yamakholwa ngenxa yokuba babeya kugqalwa njengabazalwana noodade.
Lwaluya kubonakala njani olo thando? Yintoni le yayiya kulubangela lwahluke kangako, uthando lwabo omnye komnye kangangokuba abanye balubone luyimbonakaliso ecacileyo yobuKristu bokwenyaniso?
“Njengoko Ndinithandileyo Nina”
“Uze umthande ummelwane wakho ngoko uzithanda ngako,” wawusitsho uMthetho kaThixo kumaSirayeli ngaphezu kweminyaka eli-1 500 ngaphambi kokuba uYesu aphile emhlabeni. (Lev. 19:18) Noko ke, uthando olunjalo ngommelwane asilulo uthando uYesu awathi lwaluya kwahlula abalandeli bakhe. UYesu wayecinga ngothando olwaluya kudlulela ngaphaya kokuthanda abanye njengokuba uzithanda.
Umthetho wokuthandana, njengokuba uYesu watshoyo, ‘wawungumthetho omtsha.’ Wawumtsha, kungekhona ngenxa yokuba wawumtsha kunoMthetho kaMoses, kodwa into eyayintsha ngumkhamo olu thando olwaluza kubonakaliswa ukusa kuwo. UYesu wacacisa wathi, nithandane “njengoko ndinithandileyo.” (Yoh. 13:34) Uthando lwakhe ngabafundi bakhe lwalunamandla, lubonakaliswa ngamaxesha onke. Yayiluthando lokungazingci. Walubonisa ngokungabenzeli izenzo ezilungileyo ezimbalwa kuphela. Wabondla ngokomoya waza, xa kuyimfuneko, wanyamekela iintswelo zabo zokwenyama. (Mat. 15:32-38; Marko 6:30-34) Ibe ebonakalisa obona bungqina bugqwesileyo bothando lwakhe, wanikela ngobomi bakhe ngenxa yabo.—Yoh. 15:13.
Lubalasele kangako uhlobo lothando olufunekayo ‘kumthetho omtsha,’ uthando abalandeli bakaYesu bokwenyaniso ababeya kuba nalo omnye komnye. (1 Yoh. 3:16) Namhlanje ngoobani ababonisa ubungqina obucacileyo bokuwuthobela lo “mthetho mtsha”? Ubungqina obunikelwe ngaphambilana kule mpapasho ngokungenakukhanyelwa balatha kwintlangango enye yomhlaba wonke yamaKristu.
Abaziwa ngesinxibo esithile esingaqhelekanga okanye amasiko angaqhelekanga, kodwa baziwa ngothando oluqinileyo nolufudumeleyo abanalo omnye komnye. Badume ngokubonisa uthando oloyisa ukwahlukana ngokobuzwe nemida yamazwe. Baziwa ngokungavumi ukulwa omnye nomnye xa amazwe abahlala kuwo esiya emfazweni. Abanye baye bachukunyiswa yindlela abancedana ngayo ngamaxesha eengxaki, njengaxa kusibakho iintlekele ezingokwemvelo okanye xa amalungu obuzalwana babo betshutshiswa ngenxa yokugcina ingqibelelo kuThixo. Bakulungele ukunyamezela ubunzima okanye ukuzibeka engozini ukuze bancede abazalwana noodade babo uKristu awabafelayo. Ibe, ngokwenene, bakulungele ukufelana. NgoLwesibini, kunye nezinto ezazinikelwe, kwafika abasebenzi bokuzithandela ukuze bancedise abazalwana ekulungiseni iiHolo zoBukumkani namakhaya abantu. Ngokuphathelele oko kwakusenziwa ngenjongo yokunceda, umfazi ongeloNgqina owayehlala kufutshane neHolo yoBukumkani wathi: “Ngokwenene olu imele ibe luthando lobuKristu iBhayibhile ethetha ngalo.”
Ngaba uthando olunjalo lwaluya kuphela emva kwesenzo esinye okanye ezibini zobubele? Ngaba lwaluya kwalathiselwa kubantu besizwe okanye bohlanga olunye kuphela? Ngokuqinisekileyo akunjalo! Ngenxa yokungazinzi kwezobupolitika nezoqoqosho eZaire, ebudeni bowe-1992 amaNgqina angaphezu kwe-1 200 apho aphulukana namakhaya awo nezinto zawo. Amanye amaNgqina aseZaire ngokukhawuleza awanceda. Sekunjalo, ukuba nothando olunjalo akuwenzi amaNgqina kaYehova azive anelisekile. Ayaqonda ukuba, njengabalandeli bakaYesu Kristu, amele aqhubeke ezilindile.
