Abantu bashisekela ukuzwa umfundisi okwazi ukwenza lezimangaliso ezimangalisayo. Nokho, uJesu unikeza intshumayelo yakhe ikakhulukazi ngokwenzuzo yabafundi bakhe, cishe abaqoqene eduze kakhulu naye. Kodwa ukuze sizuze nathi, bobabili uMathewu noLuka baye bayibhala.
Ukulandisa kukaMathewu ngalentshumayelo kude ngokuphindwe kane kunokukaLuka. Obani Abajabula Ngempela?
Wonke umuntu ufuna ukujabula. Ekuqaphela lokhu, uJesu uqalisa iNtshumayelo yakhe yaseNtabeni ngokuchaza labo abajabula ngempela. Njengoba singase sicabange, lokhu ngokushesha kudonsa ukunaka kwezilaleli zakhe eziningi. Kodwa amazwi akhe okuqalisa kumelwe ukuba azwakala edida kwabaningi.
Eqondisa amazwi akhe kubafundi bakhe, uJesu uyaqala: “ [Niyajabula] nina-bampofu, ngokuba umbuso kaNkulunkulu ungowenu. [Niyajabula] nina-balambileyo kalokhu, ngokuba niyakusuthiswa. [Niyajabula] nina-bakhalayo kalokhu, ngokuba niyakuhleka. [Niyajabula] nxa abantu benizonda . . . Thokozani ngalolosuku, nixhume; ngokuba bhekani, umvuzo wenu mkhulu ezulwini.”—Qhathanisa neNW.
Lokhu ukulandisa kukaLuka kwesethulo sentshumayelo kaJesu. Kodwa ngokokubhala kukaMathewu, uJesu uthi futhi abathobekileyo, abanomusa, abanenhliziyo ehlanzekileyo, nabanokuthula bayajabula. Laba bayajabula, kuphawula uJesu, ngoba bayokudla ifa lomhlaba, bayoboniswa umusa, bayobona uNkulunkulu, futhi bayobizwa ngokuthi bangamadodana kaNkulunkulu.
Nokho, lokho uJesu akushoyo ngokujabula akukhona nje ukwenama noma ukuhleka, njengalapho umuntu ezijabulisa. Injabulo yeqiniso ijule ngokwengeziwe, iqukethe umqondo wokugculiswa, umuzwa wokwaneliseka ekuphileni.
Ngakho labo abajabula ngempela, uJesu ubonisa ukuthi, bangabantu abaqaphela isidingo sabo esingokomoya, abadabukiswa isimo sabo sesono, bafinyelele ekwazini nasekukhonzeni uNkulunkulu. Khona-ke ngisho noma bezondwa noma beshushiswa ngenxa yokwenza intando kaNkulunkulu, bayajabula ngoba bayazi ukuthi bathokozisa uNkulunkulu futhi bayokwamukela umvuzo wakhe owukuphila okuphakade.
Nokho, eziningi zezilaleli zikaJesu, njengabanye abantu namuhla, zikholelwa ukuthi ukuchuma nokujabulela izinto zokuzijabulisa yikhona okwenza umuntu ajabule. UJesu wazi okuhlukile. Eveza ukuphambana okumelwe kumangalise eziningi zezilaleli zakhe, uthi:
“Maye kinina-bacebileyo, ngokuba niyamukele induduzo yenu! Maye kinina-basuthiyo kalokhu, ngokuba niyakulamba! Maye kinina-bahlekayo kalokhu, ngokuba niyakulila, nikhale! Maye kinina, nxa abantu bonke bekhuluma kahle ngani, ngokuba oyise babo benzé njalo kubaprofethi bamanga! ”
UJesu usho ukuthini? Kungani ukuba nengcebo, ukuphishekela ngokuhlekisayo izinjabulo, nokujabulela ukwenanelwa abantu kuletha umaye? Kungenxa yokuthi lapho umuntu enazo futhi ezithanda lezizinto, khona-ke inkonzo eya kuNkulunkulu, okuyiyona kuphela eletha injabulo yeqiniso, iyakhishwa ekuphileni kwakhe. Ngesikhathi esifanayo, uJesu wayengasho nje ukuthi ukuba mpofu, ukulamba, nokulila kwenza umuntu ajabule. Nokho, ngokuvamile abantu abasekuhluphekeni okunjalo bangase basabele ezimfundisweni zikaJesu, futhi ngokwenza kanjalo babusiswa ngenjabulo yeqiniso.
Ngokulandelayo, ekhuluma nabafundi bakhe, uJesu uthi: “Nina ningusawoti womhlaba.” Yebo, akasho ukuthi bangusawoti ngokoqobo. Kunalokho, usawoti uyisilondolozi. Inqwaba yawo yayiseduze kwealtare ethempelini likaJehova, futhi abapristi abengamele lapho babewusebenzisa ekuvuvuzeleni iminikelo.
Abafundi bakaJesu ‘bangusawoti womhlaba’ ngokuthi banethonya elilondolozayo kubantu. Ngempela, isigijimi abasiphethe siyolondoloza ukuphila kwabo bonke abasabela kuso! Siyoletha ekuphileni kwabantu abanjalo izimfanelo eziwukuqina, ubuqotho, nokwethembeka, sivimbele noma ikuphi ukubola okungokomoya nokokuziphatha kubo.
“Nina ningukukhanya kwezwe,” uJesu utshela abafundi bakhe. Isibani asibekwa ngaphansi kwesitsha kodwa sibekwa othini lwesibani, ngakho uJesu uthi: “Kanjalo makukhanye ukukhanya kwenu phambi kwabantu.” Abafundi bakaJesu benza lokhu ngokufakaza kwabo kwasobala, nangokukhonza njengezibonelo ezikhanyayo zokuziphatha okuvumelana nezimiso zeBhayibheli.
Indinganiso Ephakeme Ngabalandeli Bakhe
Abaholi benkolo babheka uJesu njengomephuli woMthetho kaNkulunkulu futhi ngaphambidlana baye baceba ngisho nokumbulala. Ngakho njengoba uJesu eqhubeka neNtshumayelo yakhe yaseNtabeni, uyachaza: “Ningathi ngizé ukuchitha umthetho nabaprofethi; angizanga ukuchitha, ngizé ukugcwalisa.”
UJesu unokwazisa okuphakeme ngoMthetho kaNkulunkulu futhi ukhuthaza abanye ukuba nabo babe nokwazisa okunjalo. Eqinisweni, uthi: “Ngakho-ke oweqa owodwa kulemiyalo emincinyane, afundise abantu kanjalo, uyakuthiwa omncinyane embusweni wezulu,” esho ukuthi umuntu onjalo nakanjani ngeke angene eMbusweni.
Kunokuba angawunaki uMthetho kaNkulunkulu, uJesu ulahla ngisho nezimo zengqondo eziholela ekubeni umuntu awephule. Ngemva kokuphawula ukuthi uMthetho uthi, “Ungabulali,” uJesu uyanezela: “Kepha mina ngithi kini: Yilowo nalowo othukuthelela umfowabo uyakuba-necala lokwahlulelwa.”
Njengoba ukuqhubeka uthukuthelela okanye naye kungokungathi sína kangaka, mhlawumbe kuholela ngisho nasekubulaleni, uJesu ubonisa izinga umuntu okumelwe alifinyelele ukuze azuze ukuthula. Uyayala: “Ngakho-ke nxa uletha umnikelo wakho ealtare, ukhumbula lapho ukuthi umfowenu unamagqubu nawe, shiya lapho umnikelo wakho phambi kwealtare, uhambe kuqala ubuyisane nomfowenu, andukuba uze unikele umnikelo wakho.”
Ephendulela ukunaka kowesikhombisa weMiyalo Eyishumi, uJesu uyaqhubeka: “Nizwile kwathiwa: Ungaphingi.” Nokho, uJesu ulahla ngisho nesimo sengqondo esigxilile sokuthambekela ekuphingeni. “Mina ngithi kini: Yilowo nalowo obuka [“oqhubeka ebuka,” NW] owesifazane, amkhanuke, usephingile naye enhliziyweni yakhe.”
UJesu lapha akakhulumi ngomqondo odlulayo wokuziphatha okubi kodwa ukhuluma ‘ngokuqhubeka ubuka.’ Ukubuka okunjalo okuqhubekayo kuvusa inkanuko yobulili, okungathi, uma ithuba livuma, kugcine ekuphingeni. Umuntu angakuvimbela kanjani lokhu ekubeni kwenzeke? UJesu ubonisa indlela izinyathelo eziqinile ezingase zidingeke ngayo, ethi: “Uma iso lakho lokunene likukhubekisa, likhiphe, ulilahle. . . . Noma isandla sakho sokunene sikukhubekisa, sinqume, usilahle.”
Abantu ngokuvamile bazimisele ukudela umlenze noma ingalo engokoqobo enesifo ukuze basindise ukuphila kwabo. Kodwa ngokukaJesu, kubaluleke ngisho nangokwengeziwe ‘ukulahla’ noma yini, ngisho nokuthile okubaluleke njengeso noma isandla, ukuze kugwenywe ukucabanga nezenzo zokuziphatha okubi. Ngaphandle kwalokho, uJesu uyachaza, abantu abanjalo bayophonswa eGehena (inqwaba kadoti ovuthayo eduze neJerusalema), efanekisela ukubhujiswa kwaphakade.
UJesu ukhuluma nangendlela yokusebenzelana nabantu ababangela ukulimala nokona. “Ningamelani [“nomubi,” NW],” uyeluleka. “Kodwa uma umuntu ekumukula esihlathini sokunene, mphendulele nesinye.” UJesu akasho ukuthi umuntu akumelwe azivikele yena noma umkhaya wakhe uma ehlaselwa. Impama ayenzelwa ukulimaza omunye ngokwenyama, kodwa kunalokho, yenzelwa ukucasula. Ngemva kokudonsela ukunaka emthethweni kaNkulunkulu wokuthanda umakhelwane, uJesu uthi: “Kepha mina ngithi kini: Thandani izitha zenu, . . . nibakhulekele abanizingelayo.” Enikeza isizathu esinamandla sokwenza kanjalo, uyanezela: “ [Ngaleyondlela] nibe-ngabantwana bakaYihlo osezulwini; ngokuba yena uphumisa ilanga lakhe phezu kwababi nabahle.”
UJesu uphetha lengxenye yentshumayelo yakhe ngokweluleka: “Ngakho-ke manibe-ngabapheleleyo, njengokuba uYihlo wasezulwini ephelele.” UJesu akasho ukuthi abantu bangaphelela ngomqondo ophelele. Kunalokho, ngokulingisa uNkulunkulu, bangandisa uthando lwabo ukuba luhlanganise ngisho nezitha zabo. Ukulandisa okufanayo kukaLuka kubika amazwi kaJesu: “Yibani-nesihawu, njengokuba uYihlo enesihawu.”
Umthandazo, Nokuthembela KuNkulunkulu
Njengoba uJesu eqhubeka nentshumayelo yakhe, ulahla ukuzenzisa kwabantu ababukisa ngalokho abakubheka njengokwesaba uNkulunkulu. “Nxa wabela isipho,” esho, “ungakhalisi icilongo phambi kwakho, njengalokhu kwenza abazenzisi.”
“Nalapho nikhuleka,” uJesu uyaqhubeka, “ningabi-njengabazenzisi, ngokuba bathanda ukukhuleka bemi emesinagogeni nasezinhlanganweni zezindlela ukuba babonwe ngabantu.” Kunalokho, uyayala: “Nxa ukhuleka, ngena ekamelweni lakho, uthi usuvalé umnyango wakho ukhuleke kuYihlo osekusithekeni.” UJesu ngokwakhe wayethandaza obala, ngakho akakulahli. Akulahlayo imithandazo eshiwo ngenjongo yokuhlaba izilaleli umxhwele neyenza ukuba zikutuse.
UJesu uyeluleka futhi: “Nxa nikhuleka, ningathemelezi njengabezizwe.” UJesu akasho ukuthi ukuphindaphinda ngokwakho akulungile. Yena ngokwakhe wake wasebenzisa ‘izwi elifanayo’ ngokuphindaphindiwe lapho ethandaza. Kodwa lokho akulahlayo ukushiwo kwamazwi agcinwe ekhanda ‘ngokuthemeleza,’ njengoba kwenza labo abaphatha ubuhlalu lapho bephindaphinda imithandazo yabo ngokungacabangi.
Ukuze asize izilaleli zakhe ukuba zithandaze, uJesu unikeza umthandazo oyisibonelo ohlanganisa izicelo eziyisikhombisa. Ezintathu zokuqala zikubonisa ngokufanelekile ukwazisa ngobukhosi bukaNkulunkulu nangezinjongo zakhe. Ziyizicelo zokuba igama likaNkulunkulu lingcweliswe, uMbuso wakhe ufike, nentando yakhe yenziwe. Ezine ezisele ziyizicelo zomuntu siqu, okungukuthi, zokudla kwemihla ngemihla, ukuthethelelwa kwezono, ukungalingwa ngaphezu kwamandla omuntu, nokukhululwa komubi.
Eqhubeka, uJesu ukhuluma ngogibe lokugxila ngokungafanele ezintweni ezibonakalayo. Uyanxusa: “Ningazibekeleli ingcebo emhlabeni, lapho kona inundu nokugqwala, nalapho amasela efohla khona, ebe.” Akukhona nje kuphela ukuthi ingcebo enjalo iyaphela kodwa ayimakheli umuntu igama kuNkulunkulu.
Ngakho, uJesu uthi: “Kepha zibekeleleni ingce-bo ezulwini.” Lokhu kwenziwa ngokubeka inkonzo kaNkulunkulu kuqala ekuphileni kwakho. Akekho ongathatha igama ozakhele lona ngalendlela kuNkulunkulu noma izinzuzo zakho ezinhle. UJesu ube esenezela: “Lapho kukhona ingcebo yakho, nenhliziyo yakho iyakuba-khona lapho.”
Eqhubeka ekhuluma ngogibe lokuthanda izinto ezibonakalayo, uJesu unikeza lomfanekiso: “Isibani somzimba yiso. Ngakho uma iso lakho lilihle, uzakukhanya umzimba wakho wonke. Kepha uma iso lakho lilibi, uzakuba-mnyama umzimba wakho wonke.” Iso elisebenza kahle emzimbeni linjengesibani esikhanyisiwe endaweni emnyama. Kodwa ukuze ubone kahle, iso kumelwe libe lihle, okungukuthi, kumelwe ligxile entweni eyodwa. UJesu ufinyelela emvuthwandaba walendaba ngalomfanekiso onamandla: “Akakho ongakhonza amakhosi amabili. Ngokuba uyakuzonda enye, athande enye, noma abambelele kwenye, adelele enye. Ningekhonze uNkulunkulu noMamona [ingcebo].”
Ngemva kokunikeza leseluleko, uJesu uqinisekisa izilaleli zakhe ukuthi akudingeki zikhathazeke ngezidingo zazo zezinto ezibonakalayo uma zibeka inkonzo kaNkulunkulu kuqala. “Bukani izinyoni zezulu,” esho, “ukuthi azihlwanyeli, azivuni, azibekeleli ezinqolobaneni; nokho uYihlo wasezulwini uyazondla.” Ube esebuza: “Nina kanizidluli kakhulu na?”
Ngokulandelayo, uJesu ukhomba iminduze yasendle abese ephawula ukuthi ngisho “noSolomoni ebukhazikhazini bakhe bonke wayengembathisile okomunye wayo.” Uyaqhubeka: “Uma uNkulunkulu embathisa kanjalo utshani basendle . . . akayikunembathisa kakhulu nina eninokukholwa okuncane na?” Ngakho-ke uJesu uyaphetha: “Ningakhathazeki nithi: Siyakudlani? noma: Siyakuphuzani? noma: Siyakwembathani na? . . . ingani uYihlo wasezulwini uyazi ukuthi niyakudinga konke lokhu. Kodwa funani kuqala umbuso kaNkulunkulu nokulunga kwakhe, khona konke lokhu kuyakwenezelwa nina.”
Indlela Eya Ekuphileni
Indlela eya ekuphileni yileyo yokwenza ngokuvumelana nezimfundiso zikaJesu. Kodwa lokhu akulula ukukwenza. Ngokwesibonelo, abaFarisi bathambekele ekwahluleleni abanye ngonya, futhi cishe abaningi bayabalingisa. Ngakho njengoba uJesu eqhubeka neNtshumayelo yakhe yaseNtabeni, unikeza lokhu kuyala: “Ningahluleli ukuba ningahlulelwa. Ngokuba ngokwahlulela enahlulela ngakho nani niyakwahlulelwa ngakho.”
Kuyingozi ukulandela ukuhola kwabaFarisi abagxeka ngokweqile. Ngokulandisa kukaLuka, uJesu ubonisa lengozi ngokuthi: “Impumputhe ingahola impumputhe na? Aziyikukhalakathela emgodini zombili na?”
Ukugxeka abanye kakhulu, ukhulisa amaphutha abo futhi ubagcona, kuyicala elingathi sína. Ngakho uJesu uyabuza: “Ungasho kanjani kumfowenu ukuthi: Ake ngikhiphe ucezwana olusesweni lakho; bheka, ugongolo lusesweni lakho, na? Mzenzisi, khipha kuqala ugongolo esweni lakho, khona-ke uzakubonisisa ukukhipha ucezwana esweni lomfowenu.”
Lokhu akusho ukuthi abafundi bakaJesu akumelwe basebenzise ukuqonda ngokuqondene nabanye abantu, ngoba uthi: “Ninganiki izinja okungcwele, ningaphonsi amaparele enu phambi kwezingulube.” Amaqiniso avela eZwini likaNkulunkulu angcwele. Afana namaparele angokomfanekiso. Kodwa uma abantu abathile, abanjengezinja noma izingulube, bengabonisi ukwazisa ngalamaqiniso ayigugu, abafundi bakaJesu kumelwe bashiye labobantu futhi bafune labo abalalela ngokwengeziwe.
Nakuba uJesu eye wakhuluma ngomthandazo ngaphambili eNtshumayelweni yakhe yaseNtabeni, manje ugcizelela isidingo sokuphikelela kuwo. “Qhubekani nicela,” enxusa, “niyophiwa.” Ukuze abonise ukulungela kukaNkulunkulu ukuphendula imithandazo, uJesu uyabuza: “ [Yi]muphi umuntu kini ongathi, uma indodana yakhe icela isinkwa, ayinike itshe? . . . Ngakho-ke uma nina enibabi nazi ukubapha abantwana benu izipho ezinhle, kakhulu uYihlo osezulwini uzakubapha okuhle abacela kuye.”
Ngokulandelayo uJesu unikeza lokho osekuye kwaba umthetho odumile wokuziphatha, ngokuvamile obizwa ngokuthi uMthetho Wegolide. Uthi: “Ngakho-ke konke nokungakanani enifuna ukuba abantu bakwenze kini, kwenzeni kanjalo kubo.” Ukuphila ngalomthetho kuhilela isenzo esiqondile ekwenzeni okuhle kwabanye, ubaphatha ngendlela ofuna ukuphathwa ngayo.
Ukuthi indlela eya ekuphileni ayilula kwembulwa umyalo kaJesu othi: “Ngenani ngesango elincane; ngokuba isango libanzi nendlela inkulu eyisa ekubhujisweni; baningi abangena khona. Kepha isango lincane nendlela iyingcingo eyisa ekuphileni; bayingcosana abayifumanayo.”
Ingozi yokudukiswa inkulu, ngakho uJesu uyaxwayisa: “Xwayani abaprofethi bamanga abeza kini bembathisé okwezimvu, kepha ngaphakathi bayizimpisi eziphangayo.” Njengoba imithi emihle nemithi emibi ingabonakala ngezithelo zayo, uJesu uyaphawula, abaprofethi bamanga bangabonakala ngokuziphatha kwabo nangezimfundiso.
Eqhubeka, uJesu uchaza ukuthi akukhona nje lokho umuntu akushoyo okumenza umfundi waKhe kodwa lokho akwenzayo. Abanye abantu bathi uJesu uyiNkosi yabo, kodwa uma bengayenzi intando kaYise, uthi: “Ngiyakufakaza kubo ukuthi: Angizange nginazi; sukani kimi nina-benzi bokubi.”
Ekugcineni, uJesu unikeza isiphetho esikhumbulekayo sentshumayelo yakhe. Uthi: “Yilowo nalowo owezwa lawamazwi ami, awenze, uyakufaniswa nendoda ehlakaniphileyo eyakha indlu yayo phezu kwedwala. Layithela imvula, kwafika izikhukhula, kwavunguza imimoya, yayishaya leyondlu; kepha kayiwanga, ngokuba yayisekelwe yidwala.”
Ngakolunye uhlangothi, uJesu uthi: “Yilowo owezwa lawamazwi ami, angawenzi, uyakufaniswa nendoda eyisiwula eyakha indlu yayo phezu kwesihlabathi. Layithela imvula, kwafika izikhukhula, kwavunguza imimoya, yayishaya leyondlu, yawa, kwaba-kukhulu ukuwa kwayo.”
