Ukuphela Kwenzondo Emhlabeni Wonke
EMINYAKENI eyizinkulungwane ezimbili edlule, iqembu elincane laba izisulu zenzondo. UTertullian uchaza isimo sengqondo samaRoma esasikhona ngokuphathelene namaKristu okuqala: “Uma kungekho mvula evela emazulwini, uma kunokuzamazama komhlaba, uma kunendlala noma isifo esiwumshayabhuqe, ukusabela okusheshayo kuba ukuthi, ‘AmaKristu mawabhuqabhuqwe izingonyama!’”
Naphezu kokuba yizisulu zenzondo, amaKristu okuqala amelana nesilingo sokuphindisela kulokhu kungabi nabulungisa. ENtshumayelweni yakhe edumile yaseNtabeni, uJesu Kristu wathi: “Nezwa ukuthi kwathiwa, ‘Kumelwe uthande umakhelwane wakho futhi uzonde isitha sakho.’ Nokho, mina ngithi kini: Qhubekani nithanda izitha zenu futhi nithandazela labo abanishushisayo.”—Mathewu 5:43, 44.
Kwakuyisiko lamaJuda elalishiwo ngomlomo elaligxile enkolelweni yokuthi ‘ukuzonda isitha’ kwakulungile. Nokho, uJesu wathi kumelwe sithande izitha zethu, hhayi abangane bethu nje kuphela. Lokhu kunzima kodwa kungenzeka. Ukuthanda isitha akusho ukuthanda zonke izindlela noma izenzo zaso. Kuyavunywa, akubona bonke abathi bangamaKristu abazimisele ukulandela isibonelo sikaKristu. Izenzo zobudlova zamuva nje eRwanda bezenziwa amaqembu ezinhlanga amalungu azo ayethi angamaKristu. Wachaza ukuthi uma sibazonda njengoba besizonda, asiwona amaKristu eqiniso, njengoba uJesu athi kufanele sithande izitha zethu futhi sibathandazele abasishushisayo.—Mathewu 5:44.
“Ngikhumbula isimo esidlulele esavivinya amandla alokhu kuqiniseka. Phakathi nokungena kwamaNazi eFrance, umama wahlupheka kakhulu ngenxa yothile esasakhelene naye esakhiweni esasihlala kuso. Wabika umama kumaGestapo, futhi ngenxa yalokho, umama wahlala iminyaka emibili emakamu okuhlushwa aseJalimane, lapho acishe wafela khona. Lezizibonelo ezimbili zibonisa amandla othando olunezimiso lapho ubhekene nokungabi nabulungisa. Nokho, iBhayibheli ngokwalo lithi kukhona “isikhathi sokuthanda nesikhathi sokuzonda.” (UmShumayeli 3:1, 8) Kungenzeka kanjani lokho?
Isikhathi Sokuzonda
UNkulunkulu akalulahli lonke uhlobo lwenzondo. Ngokuphathelene noJesu Kristu, iBhayibheli lithi: “Wathanda ukulunga, futhi wazonda ukungabi namthetho.” (Heberu 1:9) Nokho, kunomehluko phakathi kokuzonda into engalungile nokuzonda umuntu owenza okungalungile.
UJesu waba isibonelo sokulinganisela okuhle phakathi kothando nenzondo. Wayebuzonda ubuzenzisi, kodwa wazama ukusiza abazenzisi ukuba bashintshe indlela yabo yokucabanga. (Mathewu 23:27, 28; Luka 7:36-50) Wabulahla ubudlova, kodwa wabathandazela labo abambulala. Ukungabi nabulungisa kungavusa intukuthelo efanele kithi, njengoba kwenza nakuJesu. (Luka 19:45, 46) Nokho, amaKristu awagunyaziwe ukuba aziphindiselele. “Ningabuyiseli umuntu okubi ngokubi,” uPawulu eluleka amaKristu aseRoma. “Uma kungenzeka, ngokusemandleni enu, yibani nokuthula nabantu bonke. Ningaziphindiseleli . . . Ungazivumeli ukuba unqotshwe okubi, kodwa qhubeka unqoba okubi ngokuhle.” (Roma 12:17-21) Uma ngabanye senqaba ukuba negqubu lenzondo noma ukuphindisela okungalungile, uthando luyanqoba.
Izwe Elingenayo Inzondo
Ukuze inzondo iphele ngezinga lomhlaba wonke, isimo sengqondo esigxilile sezigidi zabantu kumelwe sishintshe. Kungafezwa kanjani lokhu? UProfesa Ervin Staub utusa okulandelayo: “Asibazisi labo esibalimazayo kodwa sazisa labo esibasizayo. Njengoba sifinyelela ekubaziseni kakhulu abantu esibasizayo futhi sithola ukwaneliseka okutholakala ngokubasiza, nathi sizibona sinakekela futhi siwusizo ngokwengeziwe. Omunye wemigomo yethu kumelwe kube ukwakha imiphakathi ehlanganyela ngezinga elibanzi kakhulu ekwenzeleni abanye izinto.”—The Roots of Evil.
Ngamanye amazwi, ukuqedwa kwenzondo kudinga ukuba kwakhiwe umphakathi abantu bawo abafunda ukuthanda ngokusizana, umphakathi lapho abantu bekhohlwa khona yibo bonke ubutha obubangelwa ubandlululo, ubuzwe, nobuhlanga. Omunye wothisha besikole engangifunda kuso—indoda ekahle—wazungeziswa ngokumasha njengokungathi wayeyisigebengu. Ezinyangeni ezimbili kamuva omunye futhi uthisha ohlonishwa kakhulu esikoleni engangifunda kuso watholakala efile eMfuleni iSuzhou, futhi uthisha owayengifundisa isiNgisi waphoqelelwa ukuba azilengise. Ngangishaqekile futhi ngimangele. Laba kwakungabantu benhliziyo enhle. Ukubaphatha ngalendlela kwakungalungile! Ngakho ngabunqamula bonke ubuhlobo bami namaRed Guard.
“Angicabangi ukuthi lenkathi yenzondo eyahlasela iChina okwesikhashana yayiwukuphela kwesenzakalo saloluhlobo. Kulelikhulu leminyaka kuye kwaba nokuqubuka okuningi kwenzondo. Nokho, ngiyaqiniseka ukuthi uthando lungayinqoba inzondo. Kungokuthile engizibonele khona mathupha. Lapho ngiqala ukuhlanganyela noFakazi BakaJehova, ngahlabeka umxhwele ngothando oluqotho ababelubonisa abantu bezinhlanga nezizinda ezihlukahlukene. Ngibheke phambili esikhathini lapho bonke abantu beyobe sebefunde ukuthandana, njengoba iBhayibheli lithembisa.”
Yebo, umphakathi womhlaba wonke woFakazi BakaJehova uwubufakazi obuphilayo bokuthi inzondo ingaqedwa. Kungakhathaliseki isizinda sabo, oFakazi balwela ukufaka ukuhloniphana esikhundleni sobandlululo futhi baqede noma imuphi umkhondo wobuzwe, noma ubuhlanga. Esinye isisekelo sokuphumelela kwabo ukuzimisela kwabo ukulingisa uJesu Kristu ekuboniseni uthando oluqondiswa izimiso. Esinye isisekelo siwukuthi babheka eMbusweni kaNkulunkulu ukuba uqede noma ikuphi ukungabi nabulungisa okungenzeka babhekana nakho.
UMbuso kaNkulunkulu uyikhambi eliqinisekile lokuthola izwe elingenayo inzondo, izwe okungenakuba khona ngisho nobubi ongabuzonda kulo. Njengoba uchazwe eBhayibhelini ‘njengamazulu amasha,’ lohulumeni wasezulwini uyoqinisekisa izwe elinobulungisa. Uyobusa phezu ‘komhlaba omusha,’ noma umphakathi omusha wabantu abayobe befundiswe ukuthandana. (2 Petru 3:13; Isaya 54:13) Lemfundo isiyaqhubeka kakade, njengoba okuhlangenwe nakho kukaMax, uSimone, nabanye abaningi kukufakazela. Ngomprofethi wakhe u-Isaya, uJehova uchaza umphumela: “Abayikwenza okubi, bangachithi entabeni yonke yami engcwele, ngokuba umhlaba uyakugcwala ukumazi uJehova njengamanzi asibekela ulwandle.” (Isaya 11:9) UNkulunkulu ngokwakhe uyobe ebangele ukuphela kwenzondo. Kuyobe kuyisikhathi sokuthanda ngempela.
