UJesu Ulibangisa EJerusalema Futhi
NGOKUSHESHA uJesu usendleni futhi, ufundisa emizini ngemizi nasemizaneni ngemizana. Ngokusobala usesifundeni sasePhereya, ngaphesheya koMfula iJordani esuka eJudiya. Kodwa ulibangise eJerusalema.
Ifilosofi yamaJuda yokuthi inani elilinganiselwe kuphela eliyothola insindiso mhlawumbe yiyo ebangela enye indoda ukuba ibuze: “Nkosi, bayingcosana abasindiswayo na?” Ngempendulo yakhe, uJesu uphoqelela abantu ukuba bacabange ngokuthi yini edingekile ukuze umuntu asindiswe: “Phikelelani [okungukuthi, zabalazelani, noma lwelani] ukungena ngomnyango omncinyane.”
Umzamo onjalo wentshiseko uyaphuthuma ‘ngoba abaningi,’ kuqhubeka uJesu, “bayakufuna ukungena, bahluleke.” Kungani beyohluleka? Uchaza ukuthi ‘nxa umninindlu esukumile wavala emnyango, abantu baqale ukuma ngaphandle, bangqongqothe emnyango, bathi: Nkosi, sivulele, uyakuphendula, athi: Anginazi lapho nivela khona. Sukani kimi nina nonke, basebenzi bokungalungi!’
Labo abavalelwa ngaphandle ngokusobala bafika ngesikhathi esilungele bona kuphela. Kodwa ngalesosikhathi umnyango wethuba uvaliwe futhi uhluthulelwe. Ukuze bangene, bekufanele bafike kusenesikhathi, ngisho nakuba kungenzeka ukuba ngalesosikhathi bekunzima ukwenza kanjalo. Ngempela, umphumela odabukisayo ulindele labo abayeka ukwenza ukukhulekelwa kukaJehova umgomo wabo oyinhloko ekuphileni!
AmaJuda uJesu athunyelwe ukuba awakhonze, ngokwengxenye enkulu, ahluleka ukubamba ithuba lawo elihle lokwamukela ilungiselelo likaNkulunkulu lokusinda. Ngakho uJesu uthi ayokhala futhi agedle amazinyo awo lapho elahlelwa ngaphandle. Ngakolunye uhlangothi, abantu abavela “empumalanga, nasentshonalanga, nasenyakatho, naseningizimu,” yebo, abavela kuzo zonke izizwe, ‘bayohlala ekudleni embusweni kaNkulunkulu.’
UJesu uyaqhubeka: “Bakhona abokugcina [abangewona amaJuda ababukelwa phansi, kanye namaJuda acindezelwe] abayakuba-ngabokuqala; bakhona abokuqala [amaJuda athandwa ngokwezinto ezibonakalayo nangokwenkolo] abayakuba-ngabokugcina.” Ukuba kwabo abokugcina kusho ukuthi abantu abanjalo abangamavila, abangenakubonga abasoze babe seMbusweni kaNkulunkulu.
AbaFarisi manje beza kuJesu futhi bathi: “Suka, umuke lapha, ngokuba uHerode [Antipase] ufuna ukukubulala.” Kungenzeka uHerode ngokwakhe owaqala lamahemuhemu ukuze enze uJesu abaleke kulesifunda. Kungenzeka uHerode wayesaba ukuhileleka ekubulaweni komunye umprofethi kaNkulunkulu njengoba ayehilelekile ekubulaweni kukaJohane uMbhapathizi. Kodwa uJesu utshela abaFarisi: “Hambani nithi kuleyompungushe: Bheka, ngikhipha amademoni, ngiphulukise abagulayo namuhla nakusasa, kuthi ngosuku lwesithathu ngipheleliswe.”
Ngemva kokuqeda umsebenzi wakhe lapho, uJesu uqhubeka nohambo lwakhe eqonde eJerusalema, ngoba, njengoba echaza, “akunakwenzeka ukuba umprofethi abhubhe ngaphandle kweJerusalema.” Kungani kufanele kulindelwe ukuthi uJesu wayeyobulawelwa eJerusalema? Ngoba iJerusalema iyinhloko-dolobha, lapho kukhona inkantolo ephakeme yeSanhedrin enamalungu angu-71 nalapho kunikelwa khona imihlatshelo yezilwane. Ngakho-ke, bekuyoba okungavumelekile ‘ngeWundlu likaNkulunkulu’ ukuba libulawelwe nomaphi ngaphandle kwaseJerusalema.
“Jerusalema, Jerusalema, wena obulala abaprofethi, okhanda ngamatshe abathunyelwe kuwe,” kulila uJesu, “bengithanda kangaki ukubuthela ndawonye abantwana bakho njengesikhukukazi sibuthela amazinyane aso phansi kwamaphiko; kepha anivumanga. Bhekani, indlu yenu isisala inxiwa kini.” Lesizwe siyalahlwa ngenxa yokwenqaba iNdodana kaNkulunkulu!
Njengoba uJesu eqhubeka eqonde eJerusalema, umenyelwa endlini yombusi wabaFarisi. YiSabatha, futhi abantu bayambukisisa, njengoba kukhona umuntu ophethwe isifo samanzi, okuwukugcwala amanzi cishe ezingalweni nasemilenzeni yakhe. UJesu ukhuluma nabaFarisi nezazi zoMthetho ezikhona, ebuza: “Kuvunyelwe yini ukuphulukisa ngesabatha noma qha?”
Akekho ophendulayo. Ngakho uJesu uphulukisa lendoda futhi ayihambise. Khona-ke uyabuza: “Ngumuphi kini ongathi indodana noma inkabi iyele emgodini, angayikhiphi masinyane ngosuku lwesabatha, na?” Nalombuzo, akekho owuphendulayo. Luka 13:22–14:6; Johane 1:29.
▪ Yini uJesu abonisa ukuthi idingekile ukuze umuntu asindiswe, futhi kungani abaningi bevalelwa ngaphandle?
▪ Obani “abokugcina” ababa abokuqala, ‘nabokuqala’ ababa abokugcina?
▪ Ngokunokwenzeka kungani kwathiwa uHerode wayefuna ukubulala uJesu?
▪ Kungani kungavumelekile ngomprofethi ukuba abulawelwe ngaphandle kweJerusalema?
