Ukuphila NeNkonzo KaJesu

NJENGOBA umkhosi wamaDokodo usaqhubeka, abaholi benkolo bathuma izikhulu zamaphoyisa ukuba ziyobamba uJesu. Akazami ukucasha. UJesu uqhubeka nokufundisa obala, ethi: “Kuseyisikhashana ngikhona kini, besengimuka, ngiye kongithumileyo. Niyakungifuna, ningangifumani, nalapho ngikhona, ningeze nina.”
AmaJuda awaqondi, ngakho-ke abuzana wodwa: “Uzakuya ngaphi lo lapho singayikumthola na? Uyakuya kwabahlakazekileyo kumaGreki, afundise amaGreki, na? Lizwi lini leli alishoyo lokuthi: ‘Niyakungifuna, ningangifumani, nokuthi: Lapho ngikhona, ningeze nina, na?” Yebo, uJesu, ukhuluma ngokufa kwakhe okuseduze kanye nokuvukela ezulwini, lapho izitha zakhe zingenakuya.
Usuku lwesikhombisa nolokugcina lomkhosi luyafika. Njalo ekuseni phakathi nomkhosi, umpristi uthulule amanzi, ayewakhe echibini laseSilowama, ukuze agelezele esisekelweni sealtare. Ngokunokwenzeka ekhumbuza abantu ngalomkhosi wansuku zonke, uJesu uyamemeza: “Uma ekhona owomileyo, akeze kimi, aphuze. Okholwa yimi, njengokusho kombhalo, esiswini sakhe kuyakugobhoza imifula yamanzi aphilayo.”
Empeleni, lapha uJesu ukhuluma ngemiphumela emihle lapho kwakuzothululwa umoya ongcwele. Lokhu kuthululwa komoya ongcwele ngonyaka olandelayo kwenzeka ngePentekoste. Lapho imifula yamanzi aphilayo igobhoza ngokuqhubekayo yilapho abalandeli abayi-120 beqala ukushumayela kubantu. Kodwa kuze kube ngalesosikhathi, awukho umoya ngomqondo wokuthi kubalandeli bakaKristu abekho abagcotshwe ngomoya ongcwele futhi babizelwa ekuphileni kwasezulwini.
Besabela ekufundiseni kukaJesu, abanye baqala ukuthi: “Lo ungumprofethi isibili,” ngokusobala bebhekisela kumprofethi omkhulu kunoMose, okwathenjiswa ukuthi uzofika. Abanye bathi: “Lo unguKristu.” Kodwa abanye baphikisa ngokuthi: “Kanti uKristu uvela eGalile na? Awushongo yini umbhalo ukuthi uKristu uvela enzalweni kaDavide naseBetlehema, emzaneni lapho wayekhona uDavide na?”
Ngakho kuba khona ukwahlukana phakathi kwesixuku. Abanye bafuna ukuba uJesu abanjwe, kodwa akekho omthintayo. Lapho izikhulu zamaphoyisa zingabuyi noJesu, abapristi abakhulu nabaFarisi bayabuza: “Animlethanga ngani na?”
Izikhonzi zaphendula zathi: “Akuzange kukhulume-muntu njengokuba kukhuluma lowomuntu.”
Begcwele ukuthukuthela, abaholi benkolo bakuhleka usulu, babheca ngamanga, futhi basebenzisa amagama ayiziswana. Bayakloloda: “Nani nidukisiwe na? Ukhona yini ezikhulwini nakubaFarisi oké wakholwa nguye na? Kodwa lesisixuku esingawazi umthetho siqalekisiwe.”
Kulokhu, uNikodemu, umFarisi nombusi wamaJuda (okungukuthi, ilungu leSanhedrin), ukhetha ukukhulumela uJesu. Uzokhumbula ukuthi eminyakeni emibili nengxenye ngaphambili, uNikodemu weza kuJesu ebusuku futhi wabonisa ukholo kuye. Manje uNikodemu uthi: “Konje umthetho wakithi uyamlahla yini umuntu ungakamuzwa kuqala, uze wazi akwenzayo, na?”
AbaFarisi bathukuthela ngisho nangokwedlulele ngokuthi omunye wabo uvikela uJesu. Ngokubhinqa bathi: “Kanti nawe ungowaseGalile na? Phenyisisa, ubone ukuthi akuveli-mprofethi eGalile.”
Ngisho nakuba imiBhalo ingasho ngokuqondile ukuthi isiprofetho sasiyovela eGalile, iyamphawula uJesu njengowayezovela khona, ithi “ukukhanya okukhulu” kwakuyobonakala kulesisifunda futhi ngokuphambene nemibono ephambene uJesu wazalelwa eBetlehema, futhi uyinzalo kaDavide. Nakuba abaFarisi ngokunokwenzeka bekuqaphela lokhu, kungenzeka banecala lokusakaza imibono ephambene abantu abanayo ngoJesu. Johane 7:32-52; Isaya 9:1, 2; Mathewu 4:13-17.
◆ Kwenzekani njalo ekuseni ngezinsuku zomkhosi, futhi kungenzeka kanjani ukuthi uJesu uletha ukunakekela kulokhu?
◆ Kungani izikhulu zihluleka ukubamba uJesu, futhi basabela kanjani abaholi benkolo?
◆ Ungubani uNikodemu, siyini isimo sakhe ngakuJesu, futhi abaFarisi abakanye naye bamphatha kanjani?
◆ Yibuphi ubufakazi obukhona bokuthi uKristu wayezovela eGalile?
