16 UPawulu wabhalela amaKristu aseThesalonika: ‘Ngemva kokuba sesihluphekile kuqala futhi seyiswa (njengoba nje nazi) eFilipi, saqunga isibindi ngoNkulunkulu wethu ukuba sikhulume kini izindaba ezinhle zikaNkulunkulu ngokushikashikeka okukhulu.’ (1 Thesalonika 2:2) UPawulu nabangane bakhe ‘babeyiswé’ kanjani eFilipi? Ngokwezinye izazi, igama lesiGreki elasetshenziswa uPawulu lisho impatho eyisethuko, eyihlazo noma enesihluku. 17 Sasivelaphi isibindi sikaPawulu? Ngaphakathi kuye? 18 Uma usiqunga isibindi, cabanga ngalokho okungase kube umphumela.
