Lithini iBhayibheli ngokunikezwa kwezigebengu isigwebo sentambo?
Kuyaqondakala ukuthi ngamunye wethu angase abe nomuzwa wakhe siqu ngalokhu ngenxa yokuhlangenwe nakho kwakhe noma isimo esithile ekuphileni. Nokho, njengoFakazi BakaJehova kufanele sizame ukuzivumelanisa nemicabango kaNkulunkulu ngesigwebo sentambo, kuyilapho singathathi hlangothi ngokuqondene nokuma okungokwezombangazwe abaningi abakuthathayo kulendaba.
Uma sikubeka ngokungagwegwesi, eZwini lakhe elilotshiwe, uNkulunkulu akabonisi ukuthi isigwebo sentambo asilungile.
Ekuqaleni komlando wesintu, uJehova waveza imicabango yakhe ngalendaba, njengoba sifunda kuGenesise isahluko 9. Lokhu kulandisa kuhilela uNowa nomkhaya wakhe, ababa okhokho bawo wonke umkhaya wesintu. Ngemva kokuba bephume emkhunjini, uNkulunkulu wathi babengazidla izilwane—okusho ukuthi babengazibulala, bazophise, bese bezidla. KuGenesise 9:5, 6, uNkulunkulu wabe esethi: “Kodwa elenu igazi okukulo umphefumulo wenu ngiyakulibiza; kuzo zonke izilwane ngiyakulibiza; nakubo bonke abantu ngiyakubiza umphefumulo wabo, owomunye esandleni somunye. Ochitha igazi lomuntu, igazi lakhe liyakuchithwa ngabantu, ngokuba uNkulunkulu wamenza umuntu ngomfanekiso wakhe.” Ngakho uJehova wakugunyaza ukunikeza izigebengu isigwebo sentambo.
Ngesikhathi uNkulunkulu esasebenzelana no-Israyeli njengabantu bakhe, amanye amacala angathi sína okweqa umthetho waphezulu ayenesijeziso sokufa. KuNumeri 15:30, sifunda lamazwi ayesebenza ezimweni eziningi: “Kepha okwenza ngesandla esiphakemeyo [“ngamabomu,” NW], noma engowokuzalwa ekhaya noma engumfokazi, uyamhlambalaza uJehova; lowomuntu uyakunqunywa kubantu bakubo.”
Kodwa kuthiwani ngesikhathi sangemva kokumiswa kwebandla lobuKristu? Siyazi ukuthi uJehova wagunyaza ukuba kube nohulumeni babantu, futhi wababiza ngokuthi amagunya aphakeme. Eqinisweni, ngemva kokutshela amaKristu ukuba alalele iziphathimandla zikahulumeni ezinjalo, iBhayibheli lithi zikhonza ‘njengesikhonzi sikaNkulunkulu kuwe ngokwenzuzo yakho. Kodwa uma wenza okubi, yesaba; ngoba aziyiphethe ngokungenanjongo inkemba; ngoba ziyisikhonzi sikaNkulunkulu, umphindiseli wokubonisa ulaka kulowo okwenza umkhuba okubi.’—Roma 13:1-4.
Ingabe lokho kusho ukuthi ohulumeni banegunya ngisho nelokubulala abantu abenza ubugebengu obungathi sína? Ngokwamazwi akweyoku-1 Petru 4:15, kufanele siphethe ngokuthi yebo. Kuleyo ndima umphostoli wanxusa abafowabo: “Makungabikho noyedwa kini ohlupheka njengombulali noma isela noma umenzi wokubi noma njengogaxekile ezindabeni zabanye abantu.” Ukuphawulile yini ukuthi, “makungabikho noyedwa kini ohlupheka njengombulali”? UPetru akazange asikisele ukuthi ohulumeni babengenalo ilungelo lokwenza umbulali ahlupheke ngenxa yobugebengu bakhe. Kwakungasihlanganisa. Lokhu kubonakala ngokucacile emazwini kaPawulu atholakala kuzEnzo isahluko 25. AmaJuda ayemangalele uPawulu ngokuthi weqe uMthetho wawo. Lapho ethumela isiboshwa sakhe, uPawulu, kumbusi waseRoma, umkhuzi wezempi wabika njengoba kuphawulwe kuzEnzo 23:29: “Ngayithola ibekwa icala ngezindaba zoMthetho wawo, kodwa ingamangalelwa nangento eyodwa eyenza ifanelwe ukufa noma izibopho.” Ngemva kweminyaka emibili uPawulu wazithola ephambi koMbusi uFestu. KuzEnzo 25:8 siyafunda: “UPawulu ezivikela wathi: ‘Angenzanga sono ngokumelene noMthetho wamaJuda noma ngokumelene nethempeli noma ngokumelene noKesari.’” Kodwa manje phawula amazwi akhe ngesijeziso, ngisho nesigwebo sentambo. Sifunda izEnzo 25:10, 11:
“UPawulu wathi: ‘Ngimi phambi kwesihlalo sokwahlulela sikaKesari, lapho kufanele ngahlulelwe khona. Angonanga lutho kumaJuda, njengoba nawe ukuthola kahle impela. Uma, ngakolunye uhlangothi, ngempela ngingumenzi wobubi futhi ngenzé noma yini engenza ngifanelwe ukufa, angihoxi ekufeni; uma, ngakolunye uhlangothi, ingekho neyodwa kulezozinto lababantu abangibeka icala ngazo, akukho muntu ongazenza athandwe ngokunginikela kubo. Ngidlulisela icala kuKesari!’”
UPawulu, emi phambi kwesiphathimandla esimiswe ngokufanele, wavuma ukuthi uKesari wayenelungelo lokujezisa abenzi bobubi, ngisho nokubabulala. Wayengamelene nokujeziswa uma ayenecala. Ngaphezu kwalokho, akazange athi kukubabulali kuphela lapho uKesari engasebenzisa khona isigwebo sentambo.
Kuyavunywa ukuthi isimiso sokwahlulela samaRoma sasingaphelele; futhi zinjalo nezimiso zezinkantolo zabantu namuhla. Abanye abantu abangenacala emuva ngaleso sikhathi nanamuhla baye balahlwa ngamacala futhi bajeziswa. Ngisho noPilatu wathi ngoJesu: “Angitholanga lutho kuye olumenza afanelwe ukufa; ngakho-ke ngizomshaya futhi ngimkhulule.” Yebo, nakuba lesi siphathimandla sikahulumeni savuma ukuthi uJesu wayengenacala, lendoda engenacala yabulawa.—Luka 23:22-25.
Ukungabi nabulungisa okunjalo akuzange kushukumisele uPawulu noma uPetru ukuba baphikise ngokuthi isijeziso sokufa ngokuyinhloko siphambene nezimiso zokuziphatha. Kunalokho, umcabango kaNkulunkulu ngalendaba uwukuthi uma nje amagunya aphakeme kaKesari esekhona, ‘aphethe inkemba ukuze abonise ulaka kulowo okwenza umkhuba okubi.’ Lokho kuhlanganisa nokusebenzisa inkemba ngomqondo wokusebenzisa isigwebo sentambo. Kodwa uma kuziwa endabeni eyimpikiswano yokuthi kufanele yini ukuba noma yimuphi uhulumeni walelizwe usebenzise ilungelo lawo lokubulala ababulali noma cha, amaKristu eqiniso ayaqikelela ukuthi ahlala engathathi hlangothi. Ngokungafani nabefundisi beLobukholwa, awazifaki kunoma iyiphi impikiswano ephathelene nalendaba.
