AMAJUDA amaningi ayengasilindele isixuku esinomsindo esasingena eJerusalema ngo-Nisan 9, 33 C.E. Nakuba kwakujwayelekile ukubona abantu betheleka kulomuzi ngaphambi kwePhasika, lezi zivakashi zazihlukile. Umuntu owayevelele kwakuyindoda egibele ithole lembongolo. Nakuba ayedunyiswa njengamanje, uJesu wayazi ukuthi wayelindelwe ukulingwa. Phela, ezinsukwini ezinhlanu nje, wayezobulawa kuwo wona lomuzi! Yebo, uJesu wayazi ukuthi indawo yaseJerusalema yayinezitha, futhi yilowo kanye umcabango ayenawo engqondweni lapho ehlela ukungena kwakhe kulomuzi ngendlela eyayiyodonsa amehlo abantu.
Ukugcwaliseka Kwesiprofetho Sasendulo
Ngo-518 B.C.E., uZakariya wabikezela ukungena kukaJesu kokunqoba eJerusalema. Wabhala: “Jabula nokujabula, ndodakazi yaseJerusalema; bheka, iNkosi yakho iza kuwe, ilungile, inensindiso, ithobekile, ikhwele imbongolo, ithole, inkonyane [ithole] yembongolokazi. . . . iyakukhuluma ukuthula kwabezizwe, nokubusa kwayo kuyakusukela elwandle kuze kufike elwandle, kusukela eMfuleni kuze kufike emajukujukwini omhlaba.”—Zakariya 9:9, 10.
Ngakho ukungena kukaJesu eJerusalema ngo-Nisan 9 kwagcwalisa isiprofetho seBhayibheli. Akumananga kwenzeka nje kodwa kwakuhlelwe ngokucophelela. Ngaphambili, bengaphandle nje kweJerusalema, uJesu wayeyale abafundi bakhe ababili: “Hambani niye emzaneni obhekene nani, futhi nizofike nithole imbongolo ikhulekiwe, nethole lembongolo likanye nayo; zithukululeni bese niziletha kimi. Futhi uma othile esho okuthile kini, kumelwe nithi, ‘INkosi iyazidinga.’ Khona-ke uzozithumela masinyane.” (Mathewu 21:1-3) Kodwa kungani uJesu ayefuna ukungena eJerusalema egibele imbongolo, futhi yayisho ukuthini indlela isixuku esasabela ngayo?
Isigijimi Esiphathelene Nobukhosi
Umfanekiso obonwayo uvame ukuba namandla kunezwi elikhulunywayo. Ngakho, ngezinye izikhathi uJehova uye wenza abaprofethi bakhe ukuba babonise isigijimi sabo ngesenzo esingokoqobo ukuze bagxilise umyalezo wabo ongokwesiprofetho. (1 AmaKhosi 11:29-32; Jeremiya 27:1-6; Hezekeli 4:1-17) Lendlela yokuxhumana ehilela kakhulu ukubona yayishiya umbono ongasuki ngisho nasengqondweni yomuntu onenhliziyo elukhuni kakhulu. Ngezikhathi zeBhayibheli imbongolo yayisetshenziswa abantu abavelele. Ngokwesibonelo, lapho eyogcotshwa njengenkosi, uSolomoni wayegibele “umnyuzi,” inzalo exubile yembongolo yeduna. (1 AmaKhosi 1:33-40) Ngakho ukungena kukaJesu eJerusalema egibele imbongolo kwakuyosho ukuthi wayeziveza njengenkosi.a Izenzo zesixuku zawugcizelela lomyalezo. Yiqiniso, akubona bonke ababekujabulela ukubona uJesu evezwa ngalendlela. AbaFarisi ngokukhethekile babekubona kungafaneleki nakancane ukuba uJesu anikezwe udumo olungaka njengenkosi. “Mfundisi,” besho, ngokungangabazeki ngamazwi entukuthelo, “khuza abafundi bakho.” UJesu waphendula: “Ngiyanitshela, Uma laba bebengahlala bethule, amatshe abeyokhamuluka.” (Luka 19:39, 40) Yebo, ukushumayela kukaJesu kwakugxile eMbusweni kaNkulunkulu. Isifundo Kithi
Kwakudingeka isibindi esikhulu ngoJesu ukuba angene eJerusalema ngendlela eyabikezelwa ngumprofethi uZakariya. Wayazi ukuthi ngokwenze njalo wayeyozibangela ulaka lwezitha zakhe. Ngaphambi kokwenyukela kwakhe ezulwini, uJesu wathuma abalandeli bakhe ukuba bashumayele izindaba ezinhle zoMbuso kaNkulunkulu futhi ‘benze abantu bazo zonke izizwe babe abafundi.’ (Mathewu 24:14; 28:19, 20) Ukufeza lomsebenzi nakho kudinga isibindi. Akubona bonke abakujabulelayo ukuzwa lesi sigijimi. Abanye abasishayi mkhuba, kanti abanye bayaphikisana naso. Abanye ohulumeni baye babekela umsebenzi wokushumayela imingcele noma bawuvimbela ngokuphelele.
Noma kunjalo, oFakazi BakaJehova bayaqaphela ukuthi izindaba ezinhle zoMbuso kaNkulunkulu omisiwe kumelwe zishunyayelwe, kungakhathaliseki ukuthi abantu bayalalela noma abalaleli. (Hezekeli 2:7) Njengoba beqhubeka benza lomsebenzi osindisa ukuphila, bayaqiniseka ngesithembiso sikaJesu: “Bhekani! Nginani izinsuku zonke kuze kube isiphelo sesimiso sezinto.”—Mathewu 28:20.
