Ingabe uMathewu 28:17 usho ukuthi abanye abaphostoli baqhubeka bengabaza isikhathi eside ngemva kokuba uJesu ovusiwe eseye wabonakala kubo?
Cha, akudingekile ukuba sifinyelele kulesosiphetho ngokukaMathewu 28:16, 17, ofundeka kanje: “Abafundi abayishumi nanye baya eGalile kuleyontaba uJesu ayebayalele yona; sebembona bakhuleka kuye, kepha abanye bangabaza.”
Kusengaphambili kakhulu uJesu wazama ukusiza abafundi ukuba baqaphele “[ukuthi] umelwe ukuya eJerusalema, ahlushwe ngokuningi ngamalunga nangabapristi abakhulu nababhali, abulawe, kepha avuswe ngosuku lwesithathu.” (Mathewu 16:21) Noma kunjalo, ukuboshwa nokubulawa kwakhe kwashiya abafundi bedumele futhi bedidekile.
