Ithemba Phakathi Nezinsuku Zokugcina
NJENGOBA uLwesibili, uNisan 11, lusondela ekupheleni, uJesu unabaphostoli bakhe eNtabeni yeMinqumo. Basanda kusuka endaweni yethempeli, abangayibona ngezansi, futhi uJesu ubexoxa nabo ngesibonakaliso sokuba khona kwakhe emandleni oMbuso nesokuphela kwesimiso sezinto.
Eqhubeka namazwi akhe, uJesu ubaxwayisa ngokulandela oKristu bamanga. Uthi kuyokwenziwa imizamo “ukuze kudukiswe nabakhethiweyo, uma kungenzeka.” Kodwa, njengezinkozi ezibona kude, laba abakhethiweyo bayobuthanela lapho kutholakala khona ukudla okungokomoya kweqiniso, okungukuthi, noKristu weqiniso ebukhoneni bakhe obungabonakali. Ngenxa yalokhu, uJesu uthi, kuyoba khona ‘usizi lwezizwe, zixakeke ngokuduma kolwandle namaza, abantu baphele amandla ngokwesaba nangokubheka okuvelela umhlaba.’ Ngempela, lenkathi emnyama kunazo zonke kusukela isintu saba khona iyoholela esikhathini lapho, njengoba uJesu esho, “kuyakubonakala ezulwini isibonakaliso seNdodana yomuntu, besezikhala izizwe zonke zomhlaba.”

Nxa isihluma, niyabona, nazi ngokwenu ukuthi ihlobo seliseduze. Kanjalo nani, nxa nibona lezozinto zenzeka, yazini ukuthi umbuso kaNkulunkulu useduze. Ngiqinisile ngithi kini: Lesisizukulwane asiyikudlula, kungakenzeki konke.”
Ngakho-ke, lapho abafundi bakhe bebona izici eziningi ezihlukahlukene zesibonakaliso zigcwaliseka, kufanele baqaphele ukuthi ukuphela kwesimiso sezinto kuseduze nokuthi uMbuso kaNkulunkulu ngokushesha uzosusa bonke ububi. Eqinisweni, isiphelo siyofika phakathi nesikhathi sokuphila sabantu ababona ukugcwaliseka kwazo zonke izinto uJesu azibikezelayo! Ekhuthaza labo bafundi ababeyobe bephila phakathi nezinsuku zokugcina ezibalulekile, uJesu uthi:
“Xwayani ukuba izinhliziyo zenu zingasindwa ngukuminza nokudakwa nokunaka okwalokhukuphila, lunizume lolosuku ningazelele, ngokuba luyakufika njengogibe phezu kwabo bonke abahlezi emhlabeni wonke.
