5. Lokho uJesu akusho kwagcwaliseka kanjani ekhulwini lokuqala?

7 Ake ucabange nje ukuthi kumelwe ukuba amaJuda adideka kanjani, njengoba kwase kuyisikhathi eside enomuzwa wokuthi uNkulunkulu wayezowavikela kanye nomuzi wawo ongcwele! 8. Iyiphi inhlekelele uJesu ayibikezela, futhi babengobani “abakhethiweyo” izinsuku ezaziyofinyezwa ngenxa yabo?
8 Lapho ephendula abaphostoli bakhe eNtabeni Yeminqumo, uJesu wabikezela: “Lezozinsuku ziyoba izinsuku zosizi olungakaze lwenzeke kusukela ekuqaleni kwendalo uNkulunkulu ayidala kuze kube yilesosikhathi, futhi olungeke luphinde lwenzeke. Eqinisweni, ukuba uJehova akazifinyezanga lezozinsuku, akukho nyama ebiyosinda. Kodwa ngenxa yabakhethiweyo abakhethile yena uzifinyezile lezozinsuku.” (Marku 13:19, 20; Mathewu 24:21, 22) Ngakho izinsuku zaziyofinyezwa futhi “abakhethiweyo” basinde. Babengobani? 10 Lokho kuhlehla okumangalisayo kwamaRoma kwabangela “inyama”—okungabafundi bakaJesu ababesengozini ngaphakathi eJerusalema—ukuba isinde. Umlando ubonisa ukuthi lapho kuvuleka leli thuba, amaKristu abaleka kuleso sifunda. Yeka ukubonakaliswa kwamandla kaNkulunkulu okulazi kusengaphambili ikusasa nokuqinisekisa ukusinda kwabakhulekeli bakhe! Kodwa, kuthiwani ngamaJuda angakholwa asala eJerusalema naseJudiya?
Abantu Ababephila Ngaleso Sikhathi Babeyosibona
11. UJesu wathini ngalesi “sizukulwane”?
11 AmaJuda amaningi ayenomuzwa wokuthi isimiso sawo sokukhulekela, esasigxile ethempelini, sasiyoqhubeka isikhathi eside. Kodwa uJesu wathi: “Fundani leliphuzu emkhiwaneni . . . Ngokushesha nje lapho igatsha lawo elisha lithamba futhi liveza amaqabunga, niyazi ukuthi ihlobo liseduze. Ngokufanayo nani, lapho nibona zonke lezizinto, yazini ukuthi iseduze, eminyango. Ngiqinisile ngithi kini lesisizukulwane asisoze sadlula zize zenzeke zonke lezizinto. Izulu nomhlaba kuyodlula, kodwa amazwi ami awasoze adlula.”—Mathewu 24:32-35.
12, 13. Abafundi bakuqonda kanjani ukubhekisela kukaJesu ‘kulesi sizukulwane’?
12 Eminyakeni eyayibheke ku-66 C.E., amaKristu kumelwe ukuba ayebone ukugcwaliseka kweziningi zezici eziyisandulela sesibonakaliso esiyinhlanganisela—izimpi, indlala, ngisho nokushunyayelwa kabanzi kwezindaba ezinhle zoMbuso. (IzEnzo 11:28; Kolose 1:23) Kodwa-ke, ukuphela kwakuyofika nini? Wayesho ukuthini uJesu uma ethi: ‘Lesisizukulwane [ngesiGreki, ge·ne·aʹ] asiyikudlula’? Kwakukaningi uJesu ebiza uquqaba lwamaJuda aphikisayo ayephila ngaleso sikhathi, kuhlanganise nabaholi benkolo ngokuthi, ‘isizukulwane esibi nesiphingayo.’ (Mathewu 11:16; 12:39, 45; 16:4; 17:17; 23:36) Ngakho, lapho eseNtabeni Yeminqumo, ephinda ekhuluma ‘ngalesi sizukulwane,’ ngokusobala wayengabhekisele kulo lonke uhlanga lwamaJuda kuwo wonke umlando; futhi wayengasho abalandeli bakhe, nakuba ‘babewuhlanga olukhethiweyo.’ (1 Petru 2:9) Futhi ngokuthi “lesisizukulwane” uJesu wayengasho inkathi ethile.
13 Kunalokho, uJesu wayecabanga ngamaJuda ayephikisa emuva ngaleso sikhathi, lawo ayezobona ukugcwaliseka kwesibonakaliso asinikeza. Ngokuqondene nokubhekisela kwakhe “kulesisizukulwane” kuLuka 21:32, uProfesa Joel B. Green uyaphawula: “Evangelini Lesithathu, elithi ‘lesi sizukulwane’ (namanye amabinzana afuze lona) ngaso sonke isikhathi aye achaza isigaba sabantu abamelene nenjongo kaNkulunkulu. . . . [Libhekisela] kubantu abayifulathela ngenkani injongo yaphezulu.”b
14. Leso “sizukulwane” sabhekana nani, kodwa kwenzeka kanjani ukuba kube nomphumela ohlukile kumaKristu?
14 Isizukulwane esibi sabaphikisi abangamaJuda esasingasibona isibonakaliso sigcwaliseka naso sasiyophela. (Mathewu 24:6, 13, 14) Yilokho kanye okwenzeka! Ngo-70 C.E., ibutho lamaRoma labuya, seliholwa uTitus, indodana yoMbusi uVespasian. Ukuhlupheka kwamaJuda ayesephinde avimbezeleka emzini kucishe kungakholeki.c Ufakazi wokuzibonela uFlavius Josephus ubika ukuthi ngesikhathi amaRoma ebhidliza umuzi, kwase kufe amaJuda alinganiselwa ku-1 100 000 kwathi angu-100 000 athunjwa, amaningi kuwo ayezokufa kabuhlungu ngenxa yendlala noma afele ezinkundleni zemidlalo zamaRoma. Kwakuseza Okunye Ukugcwaliseka

16-18. Yini esilindele ukuthi isazokwenzeka?
16 Manje sekungamashumi eminyaka oFakazi BakaJehova befundisa ukuthi ukugcwaliseka kwanamuhla kwesibonakaliso kufakazela ukuthi “usizi olukhulu” luseza. “Isizukulwane” esibi samanje siyolubona lolo sizi. Khona-ke isibonakaliso seNdodana yomuntu siyobonakala ezulwini, khona-ke zonke izizwana zomhlaba ziyozishaya zilila, futhi ziyobona iNdodana yomuntu iza iphezu kwamafu ezulu inamandla nenkazimulo enkulu.”—Mathewu 24:29, 30.
18 Ngakho, uJesu ngokwakhe uthi “ngemva kosizi lwangalezozinsuku,” kwakuyokuba nezimangaliso zasezulwini zohlobo oluthile. (Qhathanisa noJoweli 2:28-32; 3:15.) Lokho kuyobethusa futhi kubashaqise kakhulu abantu abangalaleli kangangokuba ‘bayozishaya belila.’ Abaningi bayokuba “nesinxi ngenxa yokwesaba nokulindela izinto ezehlela umhlaba owakhiweyo.” Kodwa ngeke kube njalo ngamaKristu eqiniso! ‘Ayophakamisa amakhanda awo, ngoba ukukhululwa kwawo kuyasondela.’—Luka 21:25, 26, 28.
Ukwahlulela Kungaphambili!
19. Singathola kanjani ukuthi umfanekiso wezimvu nezimbuzi uzogcwaliseka nini?
19 Phawula ukuthi uMathewu 24:29-31 ubikezela ukuthi (1) iNdodana yomuntu iyeza, (2) lokhu kuza kuyoba nenkazimulo enkulu, (3) izingelosi ziyobe zikanye nayo, futhi (4) zonke izizwe zomhlaba ziyoyibona. UJesu uphinda lezi zici emfanekisweni wezimvu nezimbuzi. (Mathewu 25:31-46) Ngakho, singaphetha ngokuthi lo mfanekiso ukhuluma ngesikhathi esingemva kokugqashuka kwesandulela sosizi olukhulu, lapho uJesu eyokuza khona nezingelosi zakhe ahlale phansi esihlalweni sakhe sobukhosi ukuze ahlulele. (Johane 5:22; IzEnzo 17:31; qhathanisa neyoku-1 AmaKhosi 7:7; Daniyeli 7:10, 13, 14, 22, 26; Mathewu 19:28.) Obani abayokwahlulelwa, kube namuphi umphumela? 20, 21. (a) Kuyokwenzekani ngezimvu zomfanekiso kaJesu? (b) Izimbuzi ziyobhekana nani esikhathini esizayo?
20 Amadoda nabesifazane abanjengezimvu bayohlukaniswa baye ngasohlangothini lomusa lwesokunene sikaJesu. Ngani? Ngoba besebenzisé amathuba abo okwenza okuhle kubafowabo bakaJesu—amaKristu agcotshiwe, ayohlanganyela noKristu eMbusweni wakhe wasezulwini. (Daniyeli 7:27; Heberu 2:9–3:1) Ngokuvumelana nalo mfanekiso, izigidi zamaKristu anjengezimvu ziye zabaqaphela abafowabo bakaJesu abangokomoya futhi bezilokhu zibasekela emsebenzini. 21 Yeka umphumela ohlukile oyotholwa izimbuzi! KuMathewu 24:30 zichazwa ‘njengeziyozishaya zilila’ lapho uJesu eza. Futhi kufanele zenze kanjalo, ngoba ziyobe zizakhele umlando wokwenqaba izindaba ezinhle zoMbuso, wokuphikisa abafundi bakaJesu, nowokukhetha izwe elidlulayo. (Mathewu 10:16-18; 1 Johane 2:15-17) NguJesu—hhayi noma imuphi wabafundi bakhe abasemhlabeni—onqumayo ukuthi izimbuzi zingobani. Ekhuluma ngazo uthi: “Laba bayomuka baye ekunqunyweni okumi phakade.”—Mathewu 25:46.
22. Iyiphi ingxenye yesiprofetho sikaJesu okufanele siyicabangele ngokulandelayo?
22 Ukuthuthukiswa kokuqonda kwethu isiprofetho esikuMathewu isahluko-24 no-25 kuvusa amadlingozi. Nokho, kunengxenye yesiprofetho sikaJesu okufanele siyinake ngokulandelayo—‘isinengiso esibangela incithakalo esimi endaweni engcwele.’ UJesu wanxusa abalandeli bakhe ukuba basebenzise ukuqonda mayelana naso futhi bakulungele ukuthatha isinyathelo.
