UJesu Usola AbaFarisi
UMA ewakhipha ngamandla kaSathane amademoni, kusho uJesu, khona-ke uSathane wahlukene yedwa. Uyaqhubeka, “Yenzani umuthi ube-muhle, nesithelo sawo sibe-sihle; noma nenze umuthi ube-mubi, nesithelo sawo sibe-sibi ngokuba umuthi waziwa ngesithelo sawo.”
Kuwubuwula ukumangaiela ngokuthi isithelo esihle sokukhipha amademoni singenxa yokusebenzela kukaJesu uSathane. Uma isithelo sisihle, umuthi ngeke ube mubi. Ngakolunye uhlangothi, isithelo esibi sabaFarisi sokumangalela okungenangqondo nokuphikisa uJesu ngokungenasisekelo siwubufakazi bokuthi bona ngokwabo babi. UJesu uthi, “Nzalo yezinyoka, ningakhuluma kanjani okuhle nibabi na? Ngokuba umlomo ukhuluma ngokuchichima kwenhliziyo.”
Njengoba amazwi ethu ebonakalisa isimo sezinhliziyo zethu, lokho esikushoyo kunikeza isisekelo sesahlulelo. UJesu uthi, “Kepha ngithi kini: Amazwi onke ayize abawakhulumayo abantu bayakuzilanda ngawo ngosuku lokwahlulela. Ngokuba ngamazwi akho uyakuthethwa nangamazwi akho uyakulahlwa.”
Naphezu kwayo yonke imisebenzi kaJesu yamandla, ababhali nabaFarisi bayacela: “Mfundisi, sithanda ukubona isibonakaliso esenziwa nguwe.” Nakuba kungenzeka ukuthi lamadoda avela eJerusalema awakaze azibonele ngawazo izimangaliso zakhe, kunobufakazi bokuzibonela obungenakuphikiswa ngokuphathelene nazo. Ngakho-ke uJesu utshela abaholi abangamajuda: “Isizukulwane esibi nesiphingayo sifuna isibonakaliso; kepha asiyikunikwa-sibonakaliso, kuphela isibonakaliso sikaJona umprofethi.”
Echaza ukuthi usho ukuthini, uJesu uyaqhubeka: “Njengalokho uJona wayesesiswini somkhomo izinsuku ezintathu nobusuku obuthathu, kanjalo-ke neNdodana yomuntu iyakuba-sebuthunjini bomhiaba izinsuku ezintathu nobusuku obuthathu.” Ngemva kokugwinywa inhlanzi, uJona waphuma njengokungathi uvusiwe, ngakho uJesu ubikezela ukuthi uyofa futhi ngosuku lwesithathu avuselwe ekuphileni. Nokho abaholi abangamajuda, ngisho nalapho kamuva uJesu esevusiwe, bayasenqaba “isibonakaliso sikaJona.”
Kanjalo uJesu uthi amadoda aseNineve aphenduka ngokushumayela kukaJona ayokuma ekwahluleleni ukuze alahle amajuda enqaba uJesu. Ngokufanayo, uthatha umfuziselo enkosikazini yaseSheba, eyavela emikhawulweni yomhlaba izozwa ukuhlakanipha kukaSolomoni futhi yamangaliswa yilokho eyakuzwa neyakubona. UJesu uyaphawula, “Bhekani, lapha kukhona okukhulu kunoSolomoni.”
Khona-ke uJesu unikeza umfanekiso womuntu okuphuma kuye umoya ongcolile. Nokho, lomuntu akakukhathaleli okuhle futhi kanjalo ungenwa imimoya eyengeziwe eyisikhombisa emibi. UJesu uthi, “Kuyakubanjalo nakulesisizukulwane esibi.” Isizwe sakwaIsrayeli sase sihlanziwe futhi saguquka—njengokuhamba kwesikhashana komoya ongcolileyo. Kodwa ukwenqaba kwesizwe abaprofethi bakaNkulunkulu, okwafinyelela umvu-‘thwandaba ekuphikiseni kwaso uKristu ngokwakhe, kubonakalisa isimo saso sisibi kakhulu kunokuqala kwaso.
Ngesikhathi uJesu ekhuluma, kufika unina nabafowabo futhi bama ngemva kwesixuku. Ngakho omunye uthi: “Bheka, unyoko nabafowenu bemi ngaphandle befuna ukukhuluma nawe.”
UJesu uyabuza: “Ngubani umame, nabafowethu ngobani na?” Elulela isandla sakhe kubafundi bakhe, uthi: “Bhekani nangu umame nabafowethu. Ngokuba yilowo nalowo owenza intando kaBaba osezulwini nguye ongumfowethu nodadewethu nomame.” Ngalendlela uJesu ubonisa ukuthi kungakhathaliseki ukuthi kunezibopho ezithandeka kangakanani ezimhlanganisa nezihlobo zakhe, ubuhlobo bakhe nabafundi bakhe busathandeka ngokwengeziwe.
