UmSamariya Uzibonakalisa Engumakhelwane Omuhle
NGOSUKU lukaJesu, kwakunobutha obuphawulekayo phakathi kwamaJuda nabeZizwe. Ngokuhamba kwesikhathi, iMishnah yamaJuda yaze yahlanganisa umthetho owawenqabela ukuba owesifazane ongumIsrayeli asize ongeyena umJuda lapho ebeletha, ngoba lokhu kwakuyosiza ekuletheni omunye umuntu wabeZizwe emhlabeni.—Abodah Zarah 2:1.
AmaSamariya yiwo ayehlobene ngokuseduze kakhulu namaJuda kunabeZizwe, kokubili ngokwenkolo nangokohlanga. Nokho, nawo ayebhekwa njengalahliwe. Umphostoli uJohane wabhala: “AmaJuda ayengasebenzelani namaSamariya.” (Johane 4:9) Yebo, iTalmud yayifundisa ukuthi “ucezu lwesinkwa oluvela kumSamariya lungcole ngaphezu kwenyama yengulube.” Amanye amaJuda ayeze asebenzise igama elithi “umSamariya” njengamazwi azwakalisa indelelo nesihlamba.—Johane 8:48.
Lapho sicabangela lesi simo, ayafundisa kakhulu amazwi uJesu awasho endodeni eyayijwayelene nomthetho wamaJuda. Le ndoda yeza kuJesu futhi yabuza: “Mfundisi, ngingenzani ukuze ngizuze njengefa ukuphila okumi phakade?” Ephendula, uJesu wayitshela ngoMthetho KaMose, oyala ukuba ‘uthande uJehova ngenhliziyo, ngomphefumulo, ngezikhwepha nangengqondo yakho yonke,’ nokuba ‘uthande umakhelwane wakho njengoba uzithanda wena.’ Lo mmeli wabe esebuza uJesu: “Ubani ngempela umakhelwane wami?” (Luka 10:25-29; Levitikusi 19:18; Duteronomi 6:5) NgokwabaFarisi, igama elithi “umakhelwane” lalisebenza kuphela kulabo ababegcina amasiko obuJuda—ngokuqinisekile hhayi abeZizwe noma amaSamariya. Uma lo mmeli obuzayo ayecabanga ukuthi uJesu wayezosekela lowo mbono, wayezomangala ngokushesha nje.
UmSamariya Onesihawu
UJesu waphendula umbuzo wale ndoda ngokulandisa umfanekiso.a Wathi: “Umuntu othile wayehla evela eJerusalema eya eJeriko.” Ibanga eliphakathi kweJerusalema neJeriko lalingaba amakhilomitha angu-23. Umgwaqo ohlanganisa le mizi emibili wawunamajika amabi namadwala avele phansi, okwakwenza kube lula ngezigebengu ukuba zicashe, zihlasele, bese zibaleka. Kwaba njalo ngesihambi esasisemfanekisweni kaJesu ‘esazithela phakathi kwabaphangi, labo kokubili abasihlubula futhi basishaya amagalelo, bahamba, basishiya kusele umndondo.’—Luka 10:30.
UJesu waqhubeka: “Kwaqondana ukuthi umpristi othile wayehla ngalowomgwaqo, kodwa, lapho embona, wadlula ngakolunye uhlangothi. Ngokufanayo, nomLevi, lapho efika kulendawo futhi embona, wadlula ngakolunye uhlangothi.” (Luka 10:31, 32) Abapristi namaLevi babengabafundisi boMthetho—kuhlanganise nomthetho wothando ngomakhelwane. (Levitikusi 10:8-11; Duteronomi 33:1, 10) Ngokuqinisekile, bona ngaphezu kwanoma ubani omunye, kwakufanele bazizwe bephoqelekile ukusiza lesi sihambi esilimele.
UJesu waqhubeka: “UmSamariya othile owayehamba ngalomgwaqo wafika kuye.” Akungabazeki ukuthi ukukhuluma ngomSamariya kwenza lo mmeli waba nelukuluku elengeziwe lokwazi. Ingabe uJesu wayeyoyigunyaza indlela engeyinhle okwakubhekwa ngayo lolu hlanga? Ngokuphambene, lapho ebona lesi sihambi esivelelwe ingozi, umSamariya “waba nesihawu.” UJesu wathi: ‘Ngakho wasondela kuso futhi wabopha amanxeba aso, ethela amafutha newayini phezu kwawo. Khona-ke wasigibelisa esilwaneni sakhe siqu wasiletha endlini yezihambi futhi wasinakekela.b Futhi ngosuku olulandelayo wakhipha odenariyu ababili, wabanika umgcini wendlu yezihambi, wathi, “Sinakekele, futhi noma yini oyisebenzisayo ngaphandle kwalokhu, ngizokukhokhela yona uma ngibuya lapha.”’—Luka 10:33-35.
UJesu wabe esebuza lo owayebuzile: “Ubani kulaba abathathu obonakala kuwe azenza umakhelwane walomuntu owazithela phakathi kwabaphangi?” Lo mmeli wayeyazi impendulo, kodwa wayebonakala engabaza ukusho ukuthi “umSamariya.” Kunalokho, wamane wathi: “Yilowo owenza isenzo sesihe kuye.” Khona-ke uJesu wathi: “Hamba futhi wenze okufanayo nawe ngokwakho.”—Luka 10:36, 37.
Lokho Esikufundayo
Le ndoda eyayibuza uJesu yayenza kanjalo ngomzamo ‘wokuzibonakalisa ilungile.’ (Luka 10:29) Mhlawumbe yayicabanga ukuthi uJesu wayeyoyincoma ngokunamathela kwayo ngokweqile eMthethweni KaMose. Kodwa lo muntu ozazisayo kwakudingeka afunde iqiniso lesaga seBhayibheli esithi: “Zonke izindlela zomuntu zilungile emehlweni akhe, kepha uJehova ulinganisa izinhliziyo.”—IzAga 21:2.
Umfanekiso kaJesu ubonisa ukuthi umuntu olunge ngempela yilowo ongalaleli imithetho kaNkulunkulu kuphela kodwa nolingisa izimfanelo zakhe. (Efesu 5:1) Ngokwesibonelo, iBhayibheli lisitshela ukuthi “uNkulunkulu akakhethi.” (IzEnzo 10:34) Ingabe siyamlingisa uNkulunkulu kulokhu? Umfanekiso kaJesu oshukumisayo ubonisa ukuthi uthando lwethu ngomakhelwane kufanele ludlulele ngalé kwemingcele yobuzwe, isiko nenkolo. Empeleni, amaKristu ayalwa ukuba ‘asebenze okuhle kubo bonke’—hhayi kuphela kubantu bezinga lezenhlalo elifana nelabo, bohlanga noma isizwe esifana nesabo futhi hhayi kwesikholwa nabo kuphela.—Galathiya 6:10.
OFakazi BakaJehova balwela ukulandela lokhu kuyala okungokomBhalo. Ngokwesibonelo, lapho kugadla izinhlekelele ezingokwemvelo, banikeza usizo oluthuthukisa inhlalakahle yabakholwa nabo kanye neyalabo abangebona oFakazi.c Ngaphezu kwalokho, bebonke basebenzisa amahora angaphezu kwezigidi eziyinkulungwane unyaka ngamunye besiza abantu ukuba balazi kangcono iBhayibheli. Balwela ukufinyelela wonke umuntu ngesigijimi soMbuso, ngoba intando kaNkulunkulu iwukuba “zonke izinhlobo zabantu zisindiswe futhi zifinyelele olwazini olunembile lweqiniso.”—1 Thimothewu 2:4; IzEnzo 10:35.
