UJesu wabonisa kanjani ukuthi uvuko luyosho ukuthini ngesintu sisonke?
Joh. 11:11, 14-44: “[UJesu wathi kubafundi bakhe:] ULazaru umhlobo wethu ulele, kepha ngiyahamba ukuba ngimvuse ebuthongweni. . . . UJesu wathi kubo ngokuchachileyo: ULazaru ufile . . . Kwathi-ke esefika uJesu, wamfumana [uLazaru] esenezinsuku ezine ethuneni. . . . UJesu wathi kuye [uMarta, udadewabo kaLazaru]: Mina ngingukuvuka nokuphila; okholwa yimi, noma efa, wophila. . . . Imaphi amathemba ayolindela labo abavuselwa ekuphileni emhlabeni?
Luka 23:43, NW: “Ngiqinisile ngithi kuwe namuhla, Uyokuba nami ePharadesi.” (Umhlaba wonke uyoguqulwa ube yipharadesi ngaphansi kokubusa kukaKristu njengeNkosi.)
IsAm. 20:12, 13: “Ngabona abafileyo, abakhulu nabancane, bemi phambi kwesihlalo sobukhosi; izincwadi zavulwa; nenye incwadi yavulwa, ngeyokuphila; nabafileyo bahlulelwa ngalokho okulotshiwe ezincwadini njengokwemisebenzi yabo. . . . Usho ukuthini uJohane 5:28, 29? Uthi: “Bonke abasemathuneni beyakulizwa izwi layo, abenzé ukulunga baphumele ekuvukeni kokuphila, abenzé okubi ekuvukeni kokulahlwa.” Okwashiwo uJesu lapha kumelwe kuqondwe ngokombono wesAmbulo samuva asinikeza uJohane. Abafileyo ababesele kabaphila yaze yaphela iminyaka eyinkulungwane. Lokhu kungukuvuka kokuqala. Ubusisiwe, ungcwele onesabelo ekuvukeni kokuqala; kulabo ukufa kwesibili akunamandla, kepha bayakuba-ngabapristi bakaNkulunkulu nabakaKristu, babuse kanye naye iminyaka eyinkulungwane.”

Obani-ke “abafileyo ababesele”? Yibo bonke abantu abafa ngenxa yesono sika-Adamu nalabo, okuyothi nakuba besindile osizini olukhulu noma labo abangase bazalwe phakathi nokuBusa Kweminyaka Eyinkulungwane, abayodinga ukukhululwa emiphumeleni ebulalayo yesono esinjalo.—Qhathanisa nabase-Efesu 2:1.
Kungayiphi-ke ingqondo kuthiwa “kabaphila” kuze kube sekupheleni kweminyaka eyinkulungwane? Lokhu akusho ukuvuka kwabo. Lokhu ‘kuphila’ kuhilela okungaphezu nje kokuphila njengabantu. Kusho ukuzuza ukuphelela kobuntu, bekhululekile kuyo yonke imiphumela yesono sika-Adamu. Phawula ukuthi ukubhekisela kulokhu evesini lesi-5 kwenzeka ngokushesha ngemva kokuba ivesi elandulelayo lithi labo abayoba sezulwini “baphila.” Ngokuqondene nabo kushiwo ukuphila okukhululekile kuyo yonke imiphumela yesono; baze banikezwe ngisho nelungelo elikhethekile lokungafi. Obani abayohlanganiswa ovukweni lwasemhlabeni?
Joh. 5:28, 29: “Ningamangali ngalokho, ngokuba isikhathi siyeza, lapho bonke abasemathuneni beyakulizwa izwi layo [izwi likaJesu], . . . baphume.” (Igama lesiGreki elihunyushwe ngokuthi “emathuneni” alibona ubuningi belithi taʹphos [ithuna, indawo yokungcwaba umuntu ngamunye] noma haiʹdes [elamathuna, ithuna laso sonke isintu esifile] kodwa liwubuningi besenzo esingaqondile selithi mne·meiʹon [inkumbulo, ithuna lokukhunjulwa]. IzE. 24:15: “Nginethemba kuNkulunkulu . . . lokuthi kuyakuba-khona ukuvuka kwabafileyo, okwabalungile nokwabangalungile.” (Kokubili labo abaphila ngokuvumelana nezindlela zikaNkulunkulu zokulunga nabantu, okwathi ngenxa yokungazi, benza izinto ezingalungile bayovuswa. IBhayibheli aliyiphenduli yonke imibuzo yethu ngokuqondene nokuthi abantu abathile ngokuqondile abaye bafa bayovuswa yini. Ukufa neHayidese kwaphonswa echibini lomlilo.
