Ngokwesibonelo, kweyabaseGalathiya 4:21-31, umphostoli uPawulu ubhekisela ‘esenzakalweni esingumfanekiso’ esihilela abesifazane ababili. Owesifazane wokuqala uHagari, incekukazi ka-Abrahama. UPawulu uchaza ukuthi uHagari wayemelela isizwe sakwa-Israyeli, esasiboshelwe kuJehova ngoMthetho KaMose. Owesifazane wesibili, ‘ongowesifazane okhululekile,’ nguSara, umka-Abrahama. Wayemelela umfazi kaNkulunkulu, oyingxenye esezulwini yenhlangano kaNkulunkulu. UPawulu ubuye akhulume ngokufana okuningi phakathi kukaMelkhizedeki owayeyinkosi nompristi noJesu. Uma kubonakala kunzima ukuzikholwa lezo zincazelo, uyayiqonda inkinga. Abantu ngeke bazi ukuthi iziphi izindaba eziseBhayibhelini ezimelela okuthile okukhulu futhi iziphi ezingameleli lutho. Ngakho-ke, yini ewukuhlakanipha ukuyenza? Lapho imiBhalo ifundisa ukuthi umuntu, isenzakalo noma into ethile kumelela okuthile okukhulu okuseza, siyayamukela leyo ncazelo. Nokho, akufanele sithi indaba ethile eseBhayibhelini inencazelo engokomfanekiso lapho singekho isizathu esingokomBhalo sokusho kanjalo.
Singazuza kanjani-ke emininingwaneni nasezindabeni esizifunda eBhayibhelini? Umphostoli uPawulu wabhala: “Zonke izinto ezalotshwa esikhathini esingaphambili zalotshelwa ukuba kufundiswe thina, ukuze kuthi ngokukhuthazela kwethu nangenduduzo evela emiBhalweni sibe nethemba.” (Roma 15:4) UPawulu wayebhalela amaKristu agcotshiwe ekhulu lokuqala, ewatshela indlela angazuza ngayo ezindabeni eziseBhayibhelini. Abantu bakaNkulunkulu abaningi, amadoda nabesifazane, abagcotshiweyo ‘nabezinye izimvu,’ baye bahlupheka njengoJobe futhi baye bazuza ngokufunda lokho kulandisa. Baye “[babona] umphumela uJehova awunikeza, ukuthi uJehova unothando futhi unesihe.”—Jakobe 5:11.
