37 He that has greater affection for father or mother than for me is not worthy of me; and he that has greater affection for son or daughter than for me is not worthy of me.+

32 He who did not even spare his own Son+ but delivered him up for us all,+ why will he not also with him kindly give us all other things?+

18 For in that he himself has suffered when being put to the test,+ he is able to come to the aid of those who are being put to the test.+

17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested,+ as good as offered* up Isaac, and the man that had gladly received the promises attempted* to offer up [his] only-begotten [son],+

21 Was not Abraham our father+ declared righteous by works after he had offered up Isaac his son upon the altar?+
