33 “When your people Israel are defeated before the enemy,+ because they kept sinning against you,+ and they indeed return to you+ and laud your name+ and pray+ and make request for favor toward you in this house,+

2 And the seed of Israel proceeded to separate+ themselves from all the foreigners,*+ and to stand and make confession+ of their own sins+ and the errors of their fathers.+

5 we have sinned+ and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled;+ and there has been a turning aside from your commandments and from your judicial decisions.+
