6 Further, they took along their herds and their goods, which they had accumulated in the land of Caʹnaan.+ Eventually they came into Egypt, Jacob and all his offspring with him.

15 And our fathers proceeded to go down to Egypt,+ and we continued to dwell in Egypt many days;+ and the Egyptians began doing harm to us and our fathers.+
