33 But whoever disowns me before men, I will also disown him before my Father who is in the heavens.+

26 For whoever becomes ashamed of me and of my words, the Son of man will be ashamed of that person when he comes in his glory and that of the Father and of the holy angels.+

9 But whoever disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God.+

7 For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice,+ but one of power+ and of love and of soundness of mind. 8 So do not become ashamed either of the witness about our Lord+ or of me, a prisoner for his sake, but take your part in suffering adversity+ for the good news by relying on the power of God.+
