22 I will present myself to you there and speak with you from above the cover.+ From between the two cherubs that are on the ark of the Testimony, I will make known to you all that I will command you for the Israelites.

36 You are to pound some of it into fine powder and put some of it before the Testimony in the tent of meeting, where I will present myself to you. It should be most holy to you.

2 Jehovah said to Moses: “Tell Aaron your brother that he may not come at just any time into the holy place+ inside the curtain,+ in front of the cover on the Ark, so that he may not die,+ for I will appear over the cover+ in a cloud.+
