32 Moses then sent some men to spy on Jaʹzer.+ They captured its dependent* towns and drove out the Amʹor·ites who were there.

34 And the sons of Gad built* Diʹbon,+ Atʹa·roth,+ A·roʹer,+ 35 Atʹroth-shoʹphan, Jaʹzer,+ Jogʹbe·hah,+

8 Thus the Israelites gave the Levites these cities and their pastures by lot, just as Jehovah had commanded through Moses.+

39 Heshʹbon+ with its pastures, and Jaʹzer+ with its pastures—a total of four cities.
