16 So the abuser of Jehovah’s name should be put to death without fail.+ The entire assembly should stone him without fail. The foreign resident should be put to death the same as the native for his abusing the Name.

2 And look! they were bringing him a paralyzed man lying on a stretcher. On seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic: “Take courage, child! Your sins are forgiven.”+ 3 Now certain scribes said to themselves: “This fellow is blaspheming.”+

64 Jesus said to him: “You yourself said it. But I say to you: From now on you will see the Son of man+ sitting at the right hand of power+ and coming on the clouds of heaven.”+ 65 Then the high priest ripped his outer garments, saying: “He has blasphemed!+ What further need do we have of witnesses? See! Now you have heard the blasphemy.
