    • 8 Οὐ Not γὰρ for θέλομεν we are willing ὑμᾶς YOU ἀγνοεῖν, to be not knowing, ἀδελφοί, brothers, ὑπὲρ over τῆς the θλίψεως tribulation ἡμῶν of us τῆς of the (one) γενομένης having occurred ἐν in τῇ the ᾿Ασίᾳ, Asia, ὅτι that καθ’ according to ὑπερβολὴν over-cast ὑπὲρ over δύναμιν power ἐβαρήθημεν, we were weighted down, ὥστε as-and ἐξαπορηθῆναι to be with no way out ἡμᾶς us καὶ and τοῦ of the ζῇν· to be living;
