    • 19 Ἡρῴδης Herod δὲ but ἐπιζητήσας having sought upon αὐτὸν him καὶ and μὴ not εὑρὼν having found ἀνακρίνας having examined τοὺς the φύλακας guards ἐκέλευσεν he commanded ἀπαχθῆναι, to be led off, καὶ and κατελθὼν having come down ἀπὸ from τῆς the Ἰουδαίας Judea εἰς into Καισαρίαν Caesarea διέτριβεν. he was spending [time] through.
