    • 14 So Zeʹresh his wife and all his friends said to him: “Have a stake put up, 50 cubits* high. And in the morning tell the king that Morʹde·cai should be hanged on it.+ Then go with the king to enjoy yourself at the banquet.” This suggestion seemed good to Haʹman, so he had the stake put up.
