Kodi Mumadya Bwino Mwauzimu?
“Kudya bwino ndiko chofunika chachikulu kwa munthu. . . . Popanda chakudya chokwanira, tikhoza kufa.”—Food and Nutrition.

Chakudya Chokulitsa Mwauzimu
Buku lophunziramo lakuti Food and Nutrition limene limafotokoza kufunika kwake kwa chakudya choyenera, likutipatsa zifukwa zitatu zodyera bwino. Ndi mmenenso zilili mwauzimu. Mwachitsanzo, pamene mtumwi Paulo analembera mpingo wa ku Efeso, anagogomezera mmene Mkristu aliyense anafunikira chakudya chauzimu chabwino kuti akhale “munthu wangwiro.” (Aefeso 4:11-13) Pamene tikudya moyenera chakudya chauzimu chomanga thupi, sitimakhalanso monga makanda ofooka, osakhoza kudzisamala, ndi kukhala pangozi ya mtundu uliwonse. Kodi inu ndi mmene mulili? Kodi mwakula mwauzimu? Kapena kodi mudakali ngati khanda lauzimu—losatetezereka, lodalira ena kotheratu, ndi losakhoza kusenza mathayo onse achikristu? Kunena zoona, ndi ochepa chabe mwa ife amene anganene mosakayika kuti ali ngati khanda lauzimu, koma tiyenera kudzipenda moona mtima. Akristu ena odzozedwa anali otero m’zaka za zana loyamba. Ngakhale anayenera kukhala “aphunzitsi” iwo eni, okhoza ndi okonzeka kuphunzitsa ena zimene Mawu a Mulungu anena, mtumwi Paulo analemba kuti: “Muli nako kusoŵanso kuti wina aphunzitse inu zoyamba za chiyambidwe cha maneno a Mulungu; ndipo mukhala onga ofuna mkaka, osati chakudya chotafuna.” Ngati mufuna kukula mwauzimu, khalani ndi njala ya chakudya chabwino chotafuna chauzimu. Musakhutire chabe ndi chakudya chauzimu cha makanda!—Ahebri 5:12.
Timafunikiranso chakudya chauzimu chimenechi kuti tikonze zilizonse zowonongeka chifukwa cha mayesero a tsiku ndi tsiku amene timakhala nawo m’dziko laudani. Iwo angaphwetse nyonga yathu yauzimu. Koma Mulungu angabwezeretse nyongayo. Paulo anati: “Sitifooka; koma ungakhale umunthu wathu wakunja uvunda, wamkati mwathu ukonzedwa kwatsopano tsiku ndi tsiku.” (2 Akorinto 4:16) Kodi ndi motani mmene ‘timakonzedwera kwatsopano tsiku ndi tsiku’? Njira ina ndiyo kudya Mawu a Mulungu nthaŵi zonse mwa kuphunzira Malemba ndi zofalitsa za Baibulo patokha ndiponso ndi kagulu.
Chakudya Chopatsa Nyonga Yauzimu
Chakudya chimafunikanso kuti “chitipatse kutentha m’thupi ndi nyonga.” Chakudya chimapereka moto kuti matupi athu agwire bwino ntchito. Ngati kadyedwe kathu si kabwino, tidzakhala ndi nyonga yochepa. Ngati chakudya chathu chilibe msanganizo wa iron, tingakhale otopa ndi aulesi. Kodi mumamva choncho nthaŵi zina pamene mufuna kuchita zinthu zauzimu? Kodi zimakuvutani kusamalira mathayo omwe amadza mwa kukhala Mkristu? Ena amene amati ali otsatira a Yesu Kristu amalema pakuchita zabwino, ndipo amasoŵa mphamvu yochitira ntchito zachikristu. (Yakobo 2:17, 26) Ngati mwaona kuti zimenezi zakuchitikirani, mankhwala ake makamaka angakhale kuwongolera kadyedwe kanu kauzimu kapena kuwonjezera chakudya chanu chauzimu.—Yesaya 40:29-31; Agalatiya 6:9.
Musanyengeke ndi kukhala ndi kadyedwe koipa kauzimu. Chimodzi cha zinyengo zazikulu koposa zimene Satana wagwiritsira ntchito pazaka mazana ambiri ndicho kuwatsimikiza anthu kuti safunikira kuŵerenga Baibulo ndi kuloŵetsa chidziŵitso cholongosoka mumtima mwawo. Amagwiritsira ntchito machenjera akale ochitidwa ndi magulu a nkhondo pofuna kugonjetsa mizinda ya adani yomwe ankazinga—muwamane chakudya ndipo adzagonja atafa njala. Koma iye wafika nawo patali machenjera amenewo. Amanyenga awo amene “walalira” kudzipha okha ndi njala pamene powazinga ponse pali myulumyulu ya chakudya chabwino chauzimu. Ndiye chifukwa chake ambiri amakodwa ndi machenjera ake!—Aefeso 6:10-18.
Chakudya Chopatsa Thanzi Lauzimu
Chifukwa chachitatu chimene timafunikira chakudya, likutero buku lakuti Food and Nutrition, nchakuti “chithandize thanzi la thupi . . . ndi kuletsa matenda.” Mapindu ake a chakudya chabwino pathanzi samaoneka nthaŵi yomweyo. Titamaliza chakudya chabwino, nthaŵi zambiri sitimaganizako kuti, ‘Zimenezi zathandiza kwambiri mtima wanga (kapena impso zanga kapena minyewa yanga, ndi zina zotero).’ Koma, tayesani kukhala osadya nthaŵi yaitali, pamenepo mudzaona mmene thanzi lanu lidzakhalira. Lidzakhala lotani? “Zimene zimachitika kambiri,” likutero buku lina la zamankhwala, “nzoipa: thupi kupinimbira, kuloŵedwa matenda mosavuta, kusoŵa nyonga kapena luntha.” Aisrayeli akale anadwala matenda auzimu onga amenewo kwa kanthaŵi ndithu. Mneneri Yesaya anati kwa iwo: “Mutu wonse ulikudwala, ndi mtima wonse walefuka. Kuchokera pansi pa phazi kufikira kumutu mmenemo mulibe changwiro.”—Yesaya 1:5, 6.
Chakudya chabwino chauzimu chimatipatsa mphamvu yoletsa kufooka kotero kwauzimu ndi zotsatira zake za matenda auzimu. Chidziŵitso chochokera kwa Mulungu chimatisunga mumkhalidwe wabwino wauzimu—ngati timachilandira! Yesu Kristu analankhulapo za mmene unyinji wa anthu m’tsiku lake sanatengerepo phunziro lililonse pakunyalanyaza kwa makolo awo kadyedwe koyenera kauzimu. Iwonso anakana kudya choonadi chimene iye anali kuwaphunzitsa. Nchiyani chinachitika? Yesu anati: “Unalemera mtima wa anthu awa, ndipo m’makutu awo anamva mogontha, ndipo maso awo anatsinzina; kuti asaone konse ndi maso, asamve ndi makutu, asazindikire ndi mtima wawo, asatembenuke, ndipo ndisawachiritse iwo.” (Mateyu 13:15) Ambiri siinawapindule mphamvu yochiritsa ya Mawu a Mulungu. Anakhalabe odwala mwauzimu. Ngakhale Akristu ena odzozedwa ‘anafooka, nadwala.’ (1 Akorinto 11:30) Tisapeputse chakudya chauzimu chimene Mulungu akukonza.—Salmo 107:20.
Kudetsedwa Mwauzimu
Ngakhale pali ngozi ya kufa ndi njala yauzimu, palinso ngozi imene tiyenera kusamala nayo—chakudya chimene timadya chingakhale chodetsedwa. Kulandira ziphunzitso zodzala ndi malingaliro oipa auchiŵanda kungatidwalitse mosavuta mofanana ndi kudya chakudya chimene chili ndi tizilombo kapena poizoni. (Akolose 2:8) Nthaŵi zambiri si kwapafupi kudziŵa chakudya chimene chili ndi poizoni. “Chakudya,” likutero buku lina, “nthaŵi zina chingaoneke chabwino ndithu koma chili ndi mabakiteriya amatenda.” Choncho tiyenera kufufuza kumene chakudya chathu chophiphiritsira chikuchokera, pokumbukira kuti mabuku ena, monga aja olembedwa ndi ampatuko, chingakhale chodetsedwa chifukwa choikamo ziphunzitso zosakhala za m’malemba ndi mafilosofi. Ena okonza zakudya amanyenga makasitomala awo mwa kuikapo maina onyenga kuti iwo asadziŵe zili mkati mwake. Tikhulupiriradi kuti Satana, wonyenga wamkulu, amachita zofanana ndi zimenezi. Chifukwa chake, tsimikizani kuti mukulandira chakudya chanu chophiphiritsira kuchokera kwa anthu odalirika, kuti mukhale “olama m’chikhulupiriro.”—Tito 1:9, 13.
Thomas Adams, mlaliki wa m’zaka za zana la 17, anati ponena za anthu panthaŵi yake: “Adzikumbira manda ndi mano awo.” M’mawu ena, zimene anadya zinawapha. Chakudya Chochuluka Chauzimu
Kunena zoona, chakudya chabwino chauzimu sichikusoŵa ayi. Monga momwe Yesu Kristu analoserera, tsopano ali ndi kagulu ka kapolo wokhulupirika ndi wanzeru amene akukonza “zakudya panthaŵi yake.” (Mateyu 24:45) Mwa mneneri Yesaya, Yehova analonjeza kuti: “Taonani atumiki anga adzadya, koma inu mudzakhala ndi njala. . . . Atumiki anga adzaimba ndi mtima wosangalala.” Ndipotu akulonjeza phwando la chakudya kwa iwo ofuna kudya. “Yehova wa makamu adzakonzera anthu ake onse phwando la zinthu zonona, phwando la vinyo wa pamitsokwe, la zinthu zonona za mafuta okhaokha.”—Yesaya 25:6; 65:13, 14.
Koma talingalirani izi: Tikhoza kufa njala tili paphwando! Pamene tazingidwa ndi chakudya, m’thupi mwathu mungasoŵeretu chakudya ngati sitiyamba tokha kudya. Miyambo 26:15 imafotokoza zimenezi motere: “Wolesi alonga dzanja lake m’mbale; kumtopetsa kulibweza kukamwa kwake.” Nzachisoni kwambiri! Ifenso tingakhale alesi kwambiri ndi kulephera kulimbikira paphunziro laumwini la Mawu a Mulungu ndi zofalitsa za Baibulo zokonzedwa kutithandiza kudya chakudya chauzimu. Kapena tingaleme kwambiri osatha kukonzekera kapena kutengamo mbali m’misonkhano ya mpingo wachikristu.
Kadyedwe Kabwino
Choncho tili ndi chifukwa chabwino chokhalira ndi kadyedwe kabwino kauzimu. Komabe, zimene zimachitikadi nzakuti ambiri amadya chakudya chawo chauzimu ngati sakufuna, ena amadzipheratu ndi njala. Ali ngati anthu amene saona kufunika kwake kwa chakudya chabwino kufikira zotsatira zake zitawagwera pambuyo pake. Buku lakuti Healthy Eating likutchula chimene chingatipangitse kusasamala za kadyedwe kathu, ngakhale tikudziŵa kuti kadyedwe kabwino nkofunika pamoyo wathu. Ilo likuti: “Vuto lake nlakuti thanzi la munthu silimafulumira kuwonongeka [ngakhale sakudya bwino]. Zotsatira zake sizimadza nthaŵi yomweyo monga zimakhalira ngati wina sasamala podutsa msewu. M’malo mwake, thanzi lake limawonongeka pang’onopang’ono iye osadziŵa, amatenga msanga matenda, mafupa ake amafooka kwambiri, mabala ake ndi matenda amachedwa kuchira.”
Zitanyanya, iye angafanane ndi mtsikana amene amadwala matenda akusafuna kudya poopa kunenepa otchedwa anorexia nervosa. Mtsikanayo amakhulupiriradi kuti afunika chakudya chochepa, kuti ali bwino ndithu, ngakhale akuonda. Pomaliza pake, njala yake yonse ya chakudya imatha. “Ndi mkhalidwe woopsa,” likutero bukulo la zamankhwala. Chifukwa? “Ngakhale kuti ndi mwakamodzikamodzi pamene wodwala amafadi ndi njala, m’thupi mwake mumasoŵeratu chakudya ndipo amatenga matenda mosavuta.”
Mkazi wina Mkristu anavomereza kuti: “Kwa zaka zambiri ndinali kuvutika podziŵa kuti kukonzekera misonkhano nthaŵi zonse ndi phunziro laumwini nzofunika koma osazichita.” M’kupita kwa nthaŵi anasintha kotero kuti anakhala wophunzira wabwino wa Mawu a Mulungu, koma anatero kokha atazindikira ngozi ya mkhalidwe wake.
Chotero, tsatirani uphungu umene mtumwi Petro anapereka. Khalani monga “makanda obadwa chatsopano,” ndi ‘kukulitsa chilakolako cha mkaka wosasukuluka wa mawu, kuti kupyolera mwa iwo mukafikire chipulumutso.’ (1 Petro 2:2, NW) Inde, “kulitsani chilakolako”—khalani ndi njala yaikulu—kuti mudzaze chidziŵitso cha Mulungu m’maganizo ndi mumtima mwanu. Anthu akulu msinkhu mwauzimu afunikiranso kusunga chilakolako chimenecho. Musalole kuti chakudya chauzimu chikhale ‘chuma chimene mumangowononga.’ Muzidya bwino mwauzimu, ndipo pindulani kwambiri ndi “mawu a moyo” opezeka m’Mawu a Mulungu, Baibulo.—2 Timoteo 1:13, 14.
