“APHO UYA KHONA NDIYA KUYA”
Xa uNahomi noRute bafika eBhetelehem, babengundaba-mlonyeni. Aba bahlolokazi babini, uNahomi noRute, bafika eBhetelehem xa kuqaliswa ukuvunwa irhasi. 1:8—Kwakutheni ukuze uNahomi axelele oomolokazana bakhe ukuba babuyele “ngamnye kwindlu kanina” kunokuba athi kwindlu kayise? Akuchazwanga enoba uyise kaOrpa wayesaphila ngelo xesha. Noko ke, ngenxa yoko kwenzeka kuye, wayecinga ukuba uYehova unxamnye naye. Waba buhlungu yaye wayephelelwe lithemba. 2:12—Nguwuphi “umvuzo ogqibeleleyo” uRute awawufumana kuYehova? URute wazala unyana waza wanelungelo lokuba kowona mnombo wokuzalwa ubalulekileyo embalini—kaYesu Kristu.—Rute 4:13-17; Mateyu 1:5, 16.

2:2. URute wasebenzisa ilungiselelo lokubhikica elalenzelwe abasemzini nabaxhwalekileyo. Wayethobekile. UmKristu osweleyo akafanele abe nekratshi kangangokuba angalwamkeli uncedo lothando lwamanye amakholwa okanye naluphi na uncedo oluvela kurhulumente asenokuba uyakufanelekela ukulufumana.

2:15-17. Kwanaxa uBhohazi wawenza lula umsebenzi kaRute, “waqhubeka ebhikica emasimini de kwangokuhlwa.” URute wayekhuthele. UmKristu ufanele aziwe ngokukhuthala.
2:19-22. UNahomi noRute babencokola kamnandi ngokuhlwa, lo walupheleyo ebonakalisa umdla kwimisebenzi yoselula, bobabini bethetha ngokukhululeka ngoko bakucingayo nendlela abavakalelwa ngayo. Oku kufanele kube njalo nakwintsapho yamaKristu.

UNAHOMI ‘UYAZALA’
UNahomi umdala gqitha ukuba angaba nabantwana. Ngoko ke uxelela uRute ukuba ibe nguye otshata nomhlawuleli, okanye abe kumtshato wongeno. Elandela ulwalathiso lukaNahomi, uRute ucela uBhohazi ukuba abe ngumhlawuleli. UBhohazi uyavuma. Noko ke, kukho isalamane esisondeleyo esifanele sinikwe ithuba kuqala.
UBhohazi ngokukhawuleza ulungisa lo mcimbi. Ngentsasa elandelayo, uhlanganisa amadoda amakhulu alishumi aseBhetelehem phambi kwesi salamane aze asibuze enoba sikulungele kusini na ukuba ngumhlawuleli. Le ndoda iyala. Ngoko ke, uBhohazi uba ngumhlawuleli aze atshate uRute. Kumtshato wabo bazala unyana, uObhedi, uyisemkhulu kaKumkani uDavide. Abafazi baseBhetelehem ngoku bathi kuNahomi: “Makabongwe uYehova . . . Uye waba ngumhlaziyi womphefumlo wakho nalowo uza kukondla ebudaleni bakho, ngenxa yokuba umolokazana wakho okuthandayo, olunge ngakumbi kuwe kunoonyana abasixhenxe, umzalele.” (Rute 4:14, 15) Umfazi owabuya ‘elambatha’ eBhetelehem uphinde ‘wazala’!—Rute 1:21.
Iimpendulo Kwimibuzo YeZibhalo:
3:11—Yintoni eyabangela uRute ukuba aziwe ngokuba “ngumfazi obalaseleyo”? Yayingekuko ‘ukulukwa kwangaphandle kweenwele’ okanye ‘ukufakwa kwezihombo zegolide okanye ukunxitywa kwezambatho zangaphezulu’ ezazisenza abanye ukuba bamhlonele uRute. Kunoko, ‘yayingumntu ofihlakeleyo wentliziyo’—ukunyaniseka nothando lwakhe, ukuthobeka kwakhe nokululama, ukukhuthala kwakhe nomoya wokuzincama. Nawuphi na umfazi owoyika uThixo onqwenela ukwaziwa ngendlela uRute awayesaziwa ngayo umele azame ngamandla ukuhlakulela ezi mpawu.—1 Petros 3:3, 4; IMizekeliso 31:28-31.
3:14—Kwakutheni ukuze uRute noBhohazi bavuke ngaphambi kokuba kuse? Oku kwakungabangelwa kukuba baziphatha kakubi ebusuku yaye babefuna ukungabonwa. (Rute 1:9; 3:1) Kwakhona kusenokwenzeka ukuba imilinganiselo emithandathu yerhasi yayikuphela kwento uRute wayenokuyithwala entloko.—
3:16—Kwakutheni ukuze uNahomi abuze uRute esithi: “Ungubani na, ntombi yam?” Ngaba wayengamqondi umolokazana wakhe? Kusenokwenzeka ukuba wayengamqondi, kuba xa uRute wabuyela kuNahomi, mhlawumbi kwakusemnyama. Noko ke, lo mbuzo usekwanokuthetha ukuba uNahomi wayebuza enoba uRute wayesele etshatile kusini na nomhlawuleli wakhe.
4:6—Yiyiphi indlela umhlawuleli ‘awayenokulonakalisa’ ngayo ilifa lakhe ngokuhlawulela? Okokuqala, ukuba lowo uba lihlwempu uwuthengisile umhlaba wakhe olilifa, umhlawuleli kwakufuneka awuthenge lo mhlaba ngexabiso elilingana neminyaka eseleyo ngaphambi kokuba ibe yiNtlokoma. (Levitikus 25:25-27) Ukwenjenjalo kwakunciphisa ixabiso lomhlaba wakhe. 3:18. UNahomi wayenentembelo kuBhohazi. Ngaba nathi asifanele sibe nentembelo efanayo kwamanye amakholwa athembekileyo? 4:13-16. Nangona wayengumMowabhikazi yaye ngaphambili enqula uthixo uKemoshe, ngokwenene uRute wafumana ilungelo elikhethekileyo. Oku kubonisa umgaqo wokuba “kuxhomekeke, kungekhona kulowo unqwenelayo nakulowo ubalekayo, kodwa kuThixo, onenceba.”—Roma 9:16.
UThixo “Aniphakamise Ngexesha Elililo”
Incwadi kaRute ichaza uYehova njengoThixo onobubele bothando, nowenzela izinto abakhonzi bakhe abanyanisekileyo. (2 Kronike 16:9) Xa sicinga ngendlela uRute awasikelelwa ngayo, sibona ukubaluleka kokuthembela kuThixo sinokholo olomeleleyo, sikholelwa ngokupheleleyo “ukuba ukho nokuba ungumvuzi wabo bamfuna ngenyameko.”—Hebhere 11:6.
URute, uNahomi noBhohazi babekholose ngokupheleleyo kwilungiselelo likaYehova, yaye izinto zabahambela kakuhle. Ngokufanayo, “uThixo uyenza isebenzisane yonke imisebenzi yakhe ukwenzela ukulungelwa kwabo bamthandayo uThixo, bona abo babiziweyo ngokuvumelana nenjongo yakhe.” (Roma 8:28) Ngoko ke masisebenzise isiluleko sompostile uPetros esithi: “Zithobeni, ke ngoko, phantsi kwesandla esinamandla sikaThixo, ukuze aniphakamise ngexesha elililo; liphoseni kuye lonke ixhala lenu, kuba unikhathalele.”—1 Petros 5:6, 7.
