Indoda Eyisicebi NoLazaru
UMFANEKISO WENDODA EYISICEBI NOLAZARU
UJesu ubenikeza abafundi bakhe iseluleko esihle mayelana nokusebenzisa ingcebo. Kodwa akubona kuphela abalalele. Kukhona nabaFarisi futhi kufanele basinake iseluleko sikaJesu. Kungani? Ngenxa yokuthi ‘bathanda imali.’ Lapho bezwa lokho uJesu akushoyo, “baqala ukumklolodela.”—Luka 15:2; 16:13, 14.
Lokho akumethusi uJesu. Uthi kubo: “Niyilabo abathi balungile phambi kwabantu, kodwa uNkulunkulu uyazazi izinhliziyo zenu. Ngoba okuphakeme kubantu kuyanyanyeka emehlweni kaNkulunkulu.”—Luka 16:15.
Abantu bebelokhu ‘bebaphakamisa’ abaFarisi kodwa manje sezizojika izinto. Labo abaphakanyiswa kakhulu abanezimpahla zezwe ezimba eqolo, abanamandla kwezepolitiki nabanethonya kwezenkolo bazothotshiswa. Abantu abavamile abaqaphelayo ukuthi bayamdinga uNkulunkulu, bazophakanyiswa. UJesu ukwenza kucace ukuthi kunoshintsho olukhulu olwenzekayo, uthi:
“UMthetho nabaProfethi kwakukhona kwaze kwafika uJohane. Kusukela ngaleso sikhathi kuqhubeke, uMbuso kaNkulunkulu umenyezelwa njengezindaba ezinhle, zonke izinhlobo zabantu ziphikelela kuwo. Ngempela, kulula ukuba izulu nomhlaba kudlule kunokuba ingxenyana eyodwa yoMthetho ingagcwaliseki.” (Luka 3:18; 16:16, 17) Amazwi kaJesu abonisa kanjani ukuthi ushintsho luyenzeka?
Abaholi benkolo bamaJuda basho ngokuqhosha ukuthi bayawulalela uMthetho kaMose. Khumbula ukuthi ngesikhathi uJesu evula amehlo endoda eyayiyimpumputhe eJerusalema, abaFarisi ngokuqhosha bathi: “Thina singabafundi bakaMose. Siyazi ukuthi uNkulunkulu wakhuluma noMose.” (Johane 9:13, 28, 29) Okunye okwakufezwa uMthetho owanikezwa uMose, ukuholela abantu kuMesiya, okunguJesu. UJohane uMbhapathizi wathi uJesu uyiWundlu likaNkulunkulu. (Johane 1:29-34) Kusukela ngesikhathi sikaJohane, amaJuda athobekile, ikakhulukazi lawo ahlwempu, abelokhu ezwa “ngoMbuso kaNkulunkulu.” Yiqiniso, ‘kunezindaba ezinhle’ kulabo abafuna ukuba ngaphansi koMbuso kaNkulunkulu futhi bazuze kuwo.
UMthetho kaMose uyagcwaliseka futhi uholele abantu kuMesiya. Kodwa isikhathi sawo siyaphela. Ngokwesibonelo, uMthetho wawuvumela abantu badivose ngenxa yezizathu ezihlukahlukene kodwa uJesu uthi “wonke umuntu odivosa umkakhe ashade nomunye uyaphinga, futhi noma ubani oshada nowesifazane odivose umyeni wakhe uyaphinga.” (Luka 16:18) Kumelwe ukuba lokhu kuyabacasula abaFarisi abajwayele ukushaya imithetho kuyo yonke into!
UJesu manje wenza umfanekiso ogcizelela ubukhulu boshintsho olwenzekayo. Ukhuluma ngamadoda amabili—izikhundla zawo nezimo zawo ezishintsha ngokuphawulekayo. Njengoba uzwa lo mfanekiso, khumbula ukuthi phakathi kwabawulalele kukhona nabaFarisi abantu ababaphakamisayo.
UJesu uthi: “Kwakukhona isicebi esithile esasivame ukugqoka okuphephuli nelineni, sizijabulisa usuku nosuku sikhomba ngophakathi. Kodwa isinxibi esigama laso linguLazaru sasivame ukubekwa esangweni lakhe, sigcwele izilonda, sifisa ukusuthiswa ngezinto eziwa etafuleni lesicebi. Ngisho nezinja zaziza zikhothe izilonda zaso.”—Luka 16:19-21.
AbaFarisi bayayithanda imali ngakho akungabazeki ukuthi obani uJesu ayebafanisa nale ‘ndoda ecebile’? La baholi benkolo abangamaJuda babekuthanda nokugqoka izingubo ezibizayo ezazibadonsela amehlo. Ngaphezu kokudla izambane likapondo, babenamalungelo namathuba amaningi. Ukubafanisa nendoda egqoke ingubo ephephuli yasebukhosini, kubonisa indlela ababezithanda ngayo izikhundla, nokugqoka kwabo ilineni elimhlophe kubonisa ukuthi babezibheka njengabalungile.—Daniyeli 5:7.
La baholi abacebile nabaqhoshayo, bababheka kanjani abantu abampofu nabavamile? Bayabazonda futhi bababheka njengama-ʽam ha·ʼaʹrets, noma abantu bezwe, abangawazi uMthetho nabangakufanele ukufundiswa wona. (Johane 7:49) Lokhu kusibonisa kahle isimo ‘sesinxibi esigama laso linguLazaru,’ esasifuna ukusuthiswa “ngezinto eziwa etafuleni lesicebi.” NjengoLazaru owayegcwele izilonda, abantu abavamile babukelwa phansi njengokungathi bayanyanyeka kuNkulunkulu.
Lesi simo esidabukisayo sesiqhubeke isikhathi eside, kodwa uJesu uyazi ukuthi isikhathi soshintsho olukhulu sesifikile kulabo abanjengendoda ecebile nakulabo abanjengoLazaru.
USHINTSHO ENDODENI EYISICEBI NAKULAZARU
UJesu uyaqhubeka nokuchaza indlela izimo zabo ezishintsha ngayo. Uthi: “Ngokuhamba kwesikhathi, isinxibi safa, izingelosi zasithwala zasiyisa eceleni kuka-Abrahama. Isicebi naso safa sangcwatshwa. SiseThuneni saphakamisa amehlo, njengoba sisezinhlungwini, sabona u-Abrahama ekude noLazaru eseceleni kwakhe.”—Luka 16:22, 23.
Labo abalalele uJesu, bayazi ukuthi u-Abrahama kade afa futhi useThuneni. ImiBhalo ikwenza kucace ukuthi akekho umuntu oseThuneni, noma eShiyoli, okwazi ukubona noma ukukhuluma, okuhlanganisa no-Abrahama. (UmShumayeli 9:5, 10) Yini-ke la baholi benkolo abacabanga ukuthi uJesu uqonde ukuyisho ngalo mfanekiso? Ubonisani ngabantu abavamile nabaholi benkolo abathanda imali?
UJesu usanda kukhuluma ngokuthi kuzoba noshintsho lapho ethi ‘uMthetho nabaProfethi kwakukhona kwaze kwafika uJohane uMbhapathizi. Kusukela ngaleso sikhathi kuqhubeke, uMbuso kaNkulunkulu umenyezelwa njengezindaba ezinhle.’ Ngakho, ngenxa yokushumayela kukaJohane noJesu Kristu, ukuphila kukaLazaru nokwendoda eyisicebi kuyashintsha futhi uNkulunkulu ubanikeza izikhundla ezintsha.
Ngokukhethekile, labo abathobekile nabahlwempu, bebelokhu bengayitholi imfundo emayelana noNkulunkulu. Kodwa kuyabasiza ukwamukela umyalezo omayelana noMbuso, abawuthola kuqala ngoJohane uMbhapathizi base bewuthola nangoJesu. Esikhathini esidlule kwakudingeka baphile ‘ngezinto ezincane ezaziwa etafuleni elingokomoya’ labaholi benkolo. Manje bondliwa ngamaqiniso abalulekile aseBhayibhelini, ikakhulukazi izinto ezibalulekile uJesu azichazayo. Kunjengokungathi ekugcineni sebesesikhundleni uJehova uNkulunkulu asibheka njengesingcono.
Ngokungafani nabampofu, abacebile nabaholi benkolo bayanqaba ukwamukela umyalezo woMbuso uJohane ayewumemezela nalowo uJesu ayewushumayela kulo lonke izwe. (Mathewu 3:1, 2; 4:17) Empeleni umyalezo wembubhiso eshisayo evela kuNkulunkulu, uyabacasula futhi uyabahlukumeza. (Mathewu 3:7-12) Bekuyobakhulula abaholi benkolo abathanda imali ukube uJesu nabafundi bakhe bebengayeka ukushumayela umyalezo kaNkulunkulu. Labo baholi benkolo banjengendoda eyisicebi esemfanekisweni, ethi: “Baba Abrahama, yiba nesihe kimi, uthume uLazaru ukuba agcobhoze isihloko somunwe wakhe emanzini apholise ulimi lwami, ngoba ngisezinhlungwini kulo mlilo ovutha amalangabi.”—Luka 16:24.
Kodwa ngeke kwenzeke lokho. Iningi labaholi benkolo ngeke lishintshe. Benqaba ‘ukulalela uMose nabaProfethi,’ izinto abazibhala okwakufanele zibenze bamukele uJesu njengoMesiya neNkosi evela kuNkulunkulu. (Luka 16:29, 31; Galathiya 3:24) Abazithobi futhi abavumi ukunxenxwa abantu abahlwempu abamukela uJesu futhi abathola umusa kaNkulunkulu. Abafundi bakaJesu bona ngeke bayeke ukukhuluma iqiniso noma ukungalivezi ukuze nje bajabulise abaholi benkolo noma babanikeze impumuzo. Emfanekisweni wakhe, uJesu uchaza leli qiniso ngamazwi ashiwo ‘uBaba u-Abrahama’ ewatshela indoda eyisicebi:
“Mntwana, khumbula ukuthi wena waba nezinto eziningi ezinhle usaphila, kodwa uLazaru yena wathola izinto ezimbi. Manje, yena uthola induduzo lapha, wena usezinhlungwini. Ngaphandle kwakho konke lokho, kumiswe umhosha omkhulu phakathi kwethu nani, ukuze labo abafuna ukuwelela kini besuka lapha bangakwazi, nabantu bangaweleli kithi besuka lapho.”—Luka 16:25, 26.
Yeka ukuthi kufaneleka kanjani ukuthi lolu shintsho olubonisa ubulungisa luyenzeka! Lubangela ukuba zishintshe izimo zabaholi benkolo abaqhoshayo nezabantu abathobekile abamukela ijoka likaJesu. Ekugcineni banikwa amandla futhi bondliwe ngokomoya. (Mathewu 11:28-30) Lolu shintsho luzobonakala nakakhulu ezinyangeni ezimbalwa, lapho isivumelwano esisha sithatha indawo yesivumelwano soMthetho. (Jeremiya 31:31-33; Kolose 2:14; Hebheru 8:7-13) Lapho uNkulunkulu ethulula umoya wakhe ongcwele ngePentekoste lika-33 C.E., kuyocaca nakakhulu ukuthi ngabafundi bakaJesu abathola umusa kaNkulunkulu hhayi abaFarisi kanye nabaholi benkolo ababasekelayo.
