Ingabe inkinga enjalo yayincane kakhulu, iwubala nje ukuthi ingalethwa ekunakekeleni kukaJesu? Esinye isazi seBhayibheli siyachaza: “Ukungenisa izihambi eMpumalanga kwakuwumsebenzi ongcwele . . . Ukungenisa izihambi kwangempela, ikakhulukazi emcimbini womshado, kwakudinga inala. Uma ukudla [kwakuphelile] emcimbini womshado, umkhaya nombhangqwana osemusha wawuyothwala ihlazo.”
Ngakho uJesu wathatha isinyathelo. Wabona “izimbiza zamanzi zetshe eziyisithupha zihlezi lapho njengoba imithetho yokuhlanza yamaJuda ifuna kanjalo.” Isiko lokuhlamba ngaphambi kokudla lase livame kakhulu phakathi kwamaJuda, futhi kwakudingeka amanzi amaningi ukuze kukhonzwe izidingo zabo bonke abakhona. “Zigcwaliseni ngamanzi lezizimbiza zamanzi,” uJesu eyala labo abakhonza izivakashi. UJesu wayengeyena “umqondisi wedili,” kodwa wakhuluma ngokuqondile nangegunya. Ukulandisa kuthi: “Manje, lapho umqondisi wedili enambitha lamanzi [ayephendulwe] iwayini.”—Johane 2:6-9; Marku 7:3.

Wayengashadile, futhi waxoxa nabafundi bakhe ngezinzuzo zokuba abangashadile izikhathi zilandelana. (Mathewu 19:12) Nokho, ukuba khona kwakhe kulomcimbi womshado kwembula ukuthi wayengamelene nakancane nomshado. Wayelinganisela, elisekela ilungiselelo lomshado; wayewubheka njengento ehloniphekile emehlweni kaNkulunkulu.—Qhathanisa neyamaHeberu 13:4.
UJesu wayengeyena unkom’ idla yodwa ongenabungane okuyilokho abadwebi besonto abaye bamveza eyikho. Ngokusobala wayekujabulela ukuba phakathi kwabantu futhi wayenganqeni ukuba nobudlelwane nabantu. (Qhathanisa noLuka 5:29.) Ngaleyondlela izenzo zakhe zababekela isibonelo abalandeli bakhe. UJesu wakubonisa mathupha ukuthi kwakungafanele bazothe noma banyukubale ngokungadingekile—njengokungathi ukulunga kwakusho ukungajabuli. Ngokuphambene, amaKristu kamuva ayalwa: “Jabulani eNkosini ngaso sonke isikhathi.” (Filipi 4:4) AmaKristu namuhla ayaqaphela ukuthi agcina ukuzilibazisa kulinganiselwe. Athola injabulo yawo enkonzweni kaNkulunkulu, kodwa elandela isibonelo sikaJesu, ngezinye izikhathi ayasithola isikhathi sokujabulela ubungane bomunye nomunye.
Phawula futhi ubumnene bemizwelo kaJesu. Wayengabophekile ukuba enze isimangaliso. Kwakungekho siprofetho ngokuphathelene nalokhu okwakufanele sigcwaliseke. Ngokusobala, uJesu wayemane eshukunyiswa ukukhathalela kukanina nosizi lwalombhangqwana oshadayo. Wayeyikhathalela imizwa yabo futhi efisa ukuvimbela ukuba badumazeke. Ingabe lokho akukuqinisekisi ngokuthi uKristu unesithakazelo sangempela kuwe—ngisho nasezinkingeni zakho zansuku zonke?—Qhathanisa neyamaHeberu 4:14-16.
Njengoba imbiza ngayinye ‘yayingamumatha izilinganiso zoketshezi ezimbili noma ezintathu’ zamanzi, isimangaliso sikaJesu sasisho ukuba khona kwewayini eliningi—mhlawumbe amalitha angu-390! (Johane 2:6) Kungani kwakudingeka eliningi kangako? UJesu wayengakhuthazi ukudakwa, okuyinto uNkulunkulu ayilahlayo. (Efesu 5:18) Kunalokho, wayebonisa ukupha okufana nokukaNkulunkulu. Njengoba iwayini laliyisiphuzo esivamile, noma iliphi elalisele lalingasetshenziswa ngesinye isikhathi.—Qhathanisa noMathewu 14:14-20; 15:32-37.
AmaKristu akuqala alingisa isibonelo sikaJesu sokupha. (Qhathanisa nezEnzo 4:34, 35.) Futhi abantu bakaJehova namuhla ngokufanayo bakhuthazwa ukuba ‘baphe.’ (Luka 6:38) Nokho, isimangaliso sikaJesu sokuqala siphinde sibe nokubaluleka okungokwesiprofetho. Sidonsela ukunakekela esikhathini esizayo lapho uNkulunkulu eyolungiselela ngomusa “idili lokukhulupheleyo . . . , idili lewayini elinenhlese” futhi eyoyiqeda ngokuphelele indlala.—Isaya 25:6.
Khona-ke, kuthiwani ngezimangaliso eziningi uJesu azenza ezihilela ukuphulukisa okungokomzimba? Yini esingayifunda kuzo?
Ukwenza Okuhle NgeSabatha
“Vuka, thatha uhlaka lwakho uhambe.” UJesu washo lamazwi kumuntu owayesegule iminyaka engu-38. Ukulandisa kweVangeli kuyaqhubeka: “Ngemva kwalokho lomuntu waphila masinyane, futhi wathatha uhlaka lwakhe waqala ukuhamba.” Ngokumangalisayo, akubona bonke abajabula ngokushintsha kwalesisimo. Ukulandisa kuthi: “AmaJuda aqala ukushushisa uJesu, ngoba wayezenza lezizinto ngesabatha.”—Johane 5:1-9, 16.
ISabatha lalihloselwe ukuba libe usuku lokuphumula nelokujabula kubo bonke. (Eksodusi 20:8-11) Nokho, ngosuku lukaJesu lase lenziwe laba imithetho eyinkimbinkimbi ecindezelayo, eyenziwe umuntu. Isazi u-Alfred Edersheim sabhala ukuthi ezingxenyeni zeTalmud ezinde zomthetho weSabatha, “kuxoxwa ngezindaba ngokungathi sína njengezinokubaluleka okukhulu enkolweni, lezo umuntu angenakucabanga ukuthi umuntu ohlakaniphile angake azicabangele njengezingathi sína.” (The Life and Times of Jesus the Messiah) Orabi baye bagxilisa ukubaluleka kokuphila nokufa emithethweni eyize, eguquguqukayo eyayiqondisa cishe isici ngasinye sokuphila komJuda—ngokuvamile ongayinaki ngokuphelele imizwa yabantu. UJesu wazibheka kanjani izinto ezinjalo ezingasho lutho ezenziwe umthetho oqinile? Lapho egxekwa ngokuphulukisa ngeSabatha, wathi: “UBaba uye waqhubeka esebenza kuze kube manje, nami ngiyaqhubeka ngisebenza.” (Johane 5:17) UJesu wayengenzi umsebenzi wokuziphilisa ukuze acebe. Kunalokho, wayenza intando kaNkulunkulu. Njengoba nje amaLevi ayevunyelwe ukuqhubeka nenkonzo yawo engcwele ngeSabatha, uJesu wayengayifeza ngokufanelekile imisebenzi yakhe ayabelwe uNkulunkulu njengoMesiya ngaphandle kokuphula uMthetho kaNkulunkulu.—Mathewu 12:5.
Ukuphulukisa kukaJesu kwangeSabatha kwabuye kwadalula ababhali nabaFarisi abangamaJuda ‘njengabalunge ngokudlulele’—belukhuni futhi bengalinganiseli endleleni abacabanga ngayo. (UmShumayeli 7:16) Ngokuqinisekile, kwakungeyona intando kaNkulunkulu ukuba imisebenzi emihle ilinganiselwe ezinsukwini ezithile zesonto; futhi uNkulunkulu wayengahlosile ukuba iSabatha libe inqubo engokomthetho engenamsebenzi. UJesu wathi kuMarku 2:27: “Isabatha laba khona ngenxa yomuntu, futhi umuntu akabanga khona ngenxa yesabatha.” UJesu wayebathanda abantu, hhayi imithetho eguquguqukayo.
Ngakho kuhle ukuba amaKristu namuhla angabi lukhuni ngokweqile noma athambekele ekubekeni imithetho endleleni acabanga ngayo. Labo abanegunya ebandleni bayakugwema ukuthwesa abanye umthwalo ngokubeka imithetho nezimiso eziningi ezenziwe abantu. Isibonelo sikaJesu sisikhuthaza futhi ukuba sifune amathuba okwenza okuhle. Ngokwesibonelo, umKristu akasoze afuna ukucabanga ukuthi uyohlanganyela amaqiniso eBhayibheli kuphela lapho ehlanganyela enkonzweni ehleliwe yendlu ngendlu noma lapho enikeza inkulumo obala. Umphostoli uPetru uthi umKristu kufanele ‘ahlale elungele ukuvikela phambi kwabo bonke abafuna ngenkani isizathu sethemba elikuye.’ (1 Petru 3:15) Ukwenza okuhle akulinganiselwe esikhathini esithile.
Isifundo Sesihawu
Esinye isimangaliso esivelele silotshwe kuLuka 7:11-17. Ngokwalokhu kulandisa, uJesu “waya emzini othiwa iNayini, futhi abafundi bakhe nesixuku esikhulu babehamba naye.” Kuze kube namuhla, amathuna ayabonakala ngaseningizimu-mpumalanga yedolobhana lanamuhla lama-Arabhu iNein. “Njengoba ayesondela eduze kwesango lomuzi,” wabona inkundla enomsindo. “Phela, bheka! kwakukhona umuntu ofile owayethwelwe ekhishelwa ngaphandle, indodana ezelwe yodwa kunina. Ngaphandle kwalokho, wayengumfelokazi. Isixuku esikhulu esivela emzini naso sasinaye.” UH. B. Tristram waphawula ukuthi “inkambiso yokusingatha umngcwabo ayizange ishintshe” kusukela ezikhathini zasendulo, enezela: “Ngiye ngabona abesifazane behamba phambi kohlaka, beholwa abesifazane abalilayo abangochwepheshe. Bashaya izandla, bahluthule izinwele, ngendlela ewusizi kakhulu, futhi babize igama lomufi ngokuklabalasa.”—Eastern Customs in Bible Lands.
Phakathi kwalesosiphithiphithi esasinomsindo kwakunomfelokazi ohamba elila okubonakala kwakhe ngokwakho kwakubonisa ubuhlungu obukhulu. Njengoba kakade ayeselahlekelwe umyeni wakhe, wayebheka indodana yakhe, ngokwamazwi omlobi uHerbert Lockyer, “njengomondli eminyakeni yakhe yobudala, nenduduzo lapho enesizungu—isisekelo nensika yekhaya. Ngokufa kwendodana yakhe okuwukuphela kwayo, ukusekela kokugcina ayenakho kwase kuphelile.” (All the Miracles of the Bible) UJesu wasabela kanjani? Ngokwamazwi kaLuka ashukumisayo, “iNkosi isimbona, yamhawukela, yathi kuye: Ungakhali.” Inkulumo ethi “yamhawukela” isuselwe egameni lesiGreki ngokwezwi nezwi elisho “amathumbu.” Isho “ukushukunyiswa njengokungathi ezibilinini.” (Vine’s Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words) Yebo, imizwelo kaJesu yashukunyiswa ngokujulile.
Cishe unina kaJesu ngokwakhe wayesewumfelokazi, ngakho cishe uJesu wayebazi kahle ubuhlungu bokushonelwa ngokulahlekelwa uyise wokutholwa, uJosefa. (Qhathanisa noJohane 19:25-27.) Lomfelokazi akuzange kudingeke ukuba ancenge uJesu. Ngokuzithandela ‘wasondela, wathinta uhlaka,’ naphezu kweqiniso lokuthi ngaphansi koMthetho kaMose ukuthinta isidumbu kwakwenza umuntu abe ngongcolile. (Numeri 19:11) Ngamandla akhe ayisimangaliso, uJesu wayengasusa wona kanye umthombo wokungcola! ‘Wathi: “Nsizwa, ngithi kuwe, Vuka!” Futhi lomuntu ofile wavuka wahlala futhi waqala ukukhuluma, wamnika unina.’
Yeka isifundo esishukumisayo sesihawu lendaba esiqukethe! AmaKristu akumelwe alingise isimo sengqondo sokungabi naluthando, sokunganaki esibonakala ‘kulezizinsuku zokugcina.’ (2 Thimothewu 3:1-5) Ngokuphambene, eyoku-1 Petru 3:8 iyanxusa: “Ekugcineni, nonke yibani nomqondo ofanayo, nibonisa ukuzwelana, ninokusondelana kobuzalwane, ninobubele besisa.” Lapho umuntu esijwayelene naye efelwa noma egulelwa ngokungathi sína, asinakumvusa ofile noma siphulukise ogulayo. Kodwa singanikeza usizo olungokoqobo nenduduzo, mhlawumbe ngokumane sibe khona futhi sikhale kanye nabo.—Roma 12:15.
Loluvuko olumangalisayo olwenziwa uJesu lubuye lukhombe nasesikhathini esizayo—isikhathi lapho “bonke abasemathuneni ayisikhumbuzo beyozwa khona izwi layo futhi baphume”! (Johane 5:28, 29) Emhlabeni wonke, abashonelwe bayosizwa ngokomuntu siqu isihawu sikaJesu lapho omama abalala, obaba, abantwana, nabangane bebuya emathuneni!
Izifundo Ezitholakala Kulezizimangaliso
Khona-ke, kuyacaca ukuthi izimangaliso zikaJesu zazingaphezu kokubonakaliswa kwamandla okuhlaba umxhwele. Zazikhazimulisa uNkulunkulu, zibekela amaKristu anxuswa ukuba ‘adumise uNkulunkulu’ isibonelo. (Roma 15:6) Zazikhuthaza ukwenza okuhle, ukuphana, ukubonisa isihawu. Okubaluleke kakhulu, zazisebenza njengokubonakaliswa kusengaphambili kwemisebenzi yamandla eyokwenziwa phakathi nokuBusa KukaKristu Kweminyaka Eyinkulungwane.
Lapho esemhlabeni, uJesu wenza imisebenzi yamandla endaweni encane uma kuqhathaniswa nezokuma kwamazwe. (Mathewu 15:24) NjengeNkosi ekhazinyulisiwe, indawo abusa kuyo iyofinyelela emhlabeni wonke! (IHubo 72:8) Emuva ngalesosikhathi, labo abathola ukuphulukisa kwakhe okuyisimangaliso kanye nabavuswa ekugcineni bafa. Ngaphansi kobukhosi bakhe basezulwini, isono nokufa kuyosuswa ngokuphelele, kuvule indlela yokuphila okuphakade. (Roma 6:23; IsAmbulo 21:3, 4) Yebo, izimangaliso zikaJesu zikhomba ekufikeni kwekusasa elikhazimulayo. OFakazi BakaJehova baye basiza izigidi ukuba zibe nethemba langempela lokuba ingxenye yalo. Kuze kufike lesosikhathi, yeka ukunambithwa okumangalisayo kwalokho okuzokwenzeka ngokushesha okunikezwa ngezimangaliso zikaJesu Kristu!
