8 They are to make a sanctuary for me, and I will reside* among them.+

12 I will walk among you and be your God,+ and you for your part will be my people.+

26 For who is there of all flesh* who has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the fire as we did and yet goes on living?

23 And what other nation on earth is like your people Israel?+ God went and redeemed them as his people,+ making a name for himself+ by doing great and awe-inspiring things for them.+ You drove out the nations and their gods in behalf of your people, whom you redeemed to yourself from Egypt.
