27 This is the number of Israelites, the heads of the paternal houses, the chiefs of the thousands and of the hundreds,+ and their officers who ministered to the king+ in every matter of the divisions that would come in and go out month by month during all the months of the year; there were 24,000 in each division.

9 The sixth for the sixth month was Iʹra+ the son of Ikʹkesh the Te·koʹite,+ and 24,000 were in his division.
